My boyfriend and I came in a couple of weekends ago just to get an idea of what kind of engagement ring I actually like. Ashley was so knowledgable as well as personable. I thought I would be overwhelmed with the amount of information but she answered all of my questions. I felt very at easy with the whole process and actually felt excited leaving as opposed to flustered when I went in.

I visited this location for the first time today (Jan 2nd at 5:00 PM) with my boyfriend to shop for an engagement ring. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. We were greeted by a Caucasian woman with long dark hair who made us feel unwelcome from the moment we walked in.
Her lack of customer service was jarring; even after I described what I was looking for, she showed no initiative to let me try anything on until I explicitly asked. Interestingly, her cold demeanor completely shifted to 'warm and helpful' the second her store manager walked onto the floor. This inconsistency shows she knows how to provide good service but chose not to give it to us. It left a very bad taste in our mouth for such a significant purchase. I’d recommend management look into retraining this individual on basic hospitality, and we will be taking our business elsewhere.

I had a wonderful experience shopping for a Christmas gift at this store. Lauryn was fantastic. While we ran into some issues for me to walk out of the store with my gift. They assured me it would arrive in two days at my home and it did. They communicated with me the entire way. My girl loved her earrings! Thanks BE and Lauryn!

It was wonderful to work with Ariel! I let her know my partners specific tastes and interests, and she let me know about the new “ring-pop collection”. She made placing my order very easy, and it was a very pleasant and refreshing experience. 10/10 would recommend Brilliant Earth to everyone!!!

Went with my girlfriend and future fiancé for a ring appointment. We met Lauryn and had a great time discussing many different things that matter for buying a ring. As the man purchasing the ring, she did very well in explaining everything that comes to purchasing a ring and what I need to look for. Overall, great experience.

On Sunday, November 16th, 2025, my wife and I visited the Brilliant Earth location at 3699 McKinney Ave #401 in Dallas, TX. We drove 1 hour and 23 minutes from our home to view engagement rings and were assisted by Lauryn Johnson, who helped us select the band and diamond. We left a 50% deposit and were told the remaining balance would be due at pickup, with an estimated completion date of December 3rd, 2025.
Soon after, we received an email delaying the ring to December 8th, even though we had specifically asked Ms. Johnson to confirm an accurate ETA due to the store’s history of delays. This created an issue because my wife will be out of town.
On December 2nd, Ms. Johnson messaged us saying the ring had arrived early and was ready for pickup. I took time off work, and we traveled over two hours in traffic to the store on December 3rd. When we arrived, we were told the ring was ready, and we were asked to pay the remaining balance, which we did. After waiting about 20 minutes, a manager then announced—across the showroom—that the ring was not there and they did not know when it would arrive.
We were charged in full and left with nothing. No refund was offered, no apology, and no clear explanation. We lost work time, traveled long distances twice, and received conflicting and inaccurate information throughout the process.

I want a special gift for my wife for our anniversary, since I feel guilty about her still wearing the ring I bought her 20 years ago. I shopped around both in person and online, only BE carried a vast variety of styles and settings to choose from. This is my first time ordering expensive jewelry online; however, BE is great at communication and answering questions. Their online store plus showroom business model worked very well. The delivery is on time; however, making order tracking real-time will be a plus.

I’ve been looking forward to visiting Brilliant Earth for a long time, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The employees didn’t seem interested in engaging with us at all. My boyfriend and I came in hoping to ask questions about appointments and to look more closely at wedding and engagement rings.
Despite there only being one other couple in the store, no one acknowledged us or offered assistance for several minutes. Then, when another couple arrived, an employee immediately came out to help them, while we continued to be ignored. It really gave us the impression that we were being pre-judged, which felt awful.
This experience completely contradicted what I thought Brilliant Earth stood for. We came in excited and left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses how guests are greeted and treated in the store.

Have tried to shop this location multiple times. The girl working was so rude, put off with me asking questions. She actively didn’t want to help us at all each time we stopped in. Basically communicated if we didn’t have an appointment, she was not interested. Ultimately led my fiancé to go elsewhere to get my ring (which I do love!) but I’m disappointed in this location because I had my heart set on wedding bands from here. We won’t be back. I highly suggest avoiding this location.

Despite reading numerous negative reviews online about this business, I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately (for me), the reviews about poor customer service proved accurate. The staff was quite rude and condescending while we were picking up our purchase. One particularly rude worker insinuated that we would try to leave without paying for our purchase.
The entire process dealing with this company was something of a sham. You can't call and get someone on the phone and deal with a manager, etc. You get a call center, and they can only pass a message to the retail store. It's all low-level employees passing you around like a hot potato.
The experience reminded me of getting ripped off by a vending machine. You are left to stew in your own misfortune with no real path to satisfaction (or your candy). This company has two types of customers: people who don't read/heed reviews and those who love a miserable customer experience.
I was obviously glutting for punishment when I decided to ignore the reviews.

Had an appointment with Tracy yesterday and it didn't feel like she was very enthusiastic. I was pretty excited to look for engagement rings, especially since it was my first time out to look with my best friend, but not being greeted with warmth wasn't great. We're interested in doing a custom ring, which they would have a team for. I'm just not inclined to work with them further because of this experience.

Lauryn at Brilliant Earth was fantastic! She was incredibly helpful in getting our sizes right and guiding us through our wedding band selection with try-ons. Lauryn is personable, knowledgeable, and made the process a pleasure from start to finish. She provided all the information we needed about our rings, making the experience stress-free and enjoyable.
