All I can say is this was a fantastic experience for me. I talked to Jim about fixing my sons trombone. He as very courteous and when I got there he was extremely informative. He sent me back to the repair guy and after looking at the trombone he said I'll be right back. He came back with the slide and said it was just a loose screw and be put a new cork on it. I said how much do i owe you and he said, "NOTHING, HAVE A GOOD DAY". Thats a rare thing these days.

I was referred to this company by our son's Beginner Band Director. Three weeks ago, I placed an online order for the instrument and the supplies that go along with it. At the end of the transaction, I received an online receipt for my order. Additionally, a couple of days later, I received the rental agreement for the instrument. A week ago, the supplies were delivered to my son's school but no instrument. I have placed multiple calls about the missing instrument but no response. Our son is the only student in his class that does not have his instrument. This is delaying his learning process. To say that I am disappointed with this company is an understatement. I would not recommend Brook Mays Music.Update: Due to the above issue, we decided to purchase our son's instrument from another music company. We cancelled our contract with Brook Mays because of the lack of response from the representative who was assigned to our son's school. Brook Mays refunded our money.

It's okay If something gets messed up they help you fix the problem. The ones at Brooke Mays work well with a customers.

I had a Rental from them for my middle school going son and the process was simple and smooth. They happily answered any questions and the return process was very smooth.

One of my sons accidentally broke his instrument at school today and has a concert later this week. I scrambled and called Brooks Mays where we had rented the instrument to see if they could repair it before the concert. I was transferred to Spencer in the Repair Department. Even though he normally leaves at 5pm, he agreed to wait for me and completed the repair in about 30 minutes. The best part? Because we had rented it through Brooks Mays, we had gotten the damage insurance so it didn’t cost me a dime ?

Rented a used Sax for my 6th grader son from their Katy TX office. The man told us the instrument worth $5K but we could rent a used one for 47 months and pay $51.95 per month and the total will be $2,441, I went for that. A friend visited us four months after and told us the brand new is just like $700 but I felt I am in the contract already and we will keep it. The payment was going on fine for 8 months until my bank changed my credit card and they could not charge me. They called it a Bridge of Contract and they will bill me an extra $550+ to continue the fraudulent contract or pay $2,199 to keep the instrument. So, I chose to return it and ended the contract. When I returned the Sax today, they issued me an invoice, and the guy used a black marker to cover all the figures on the invoice, which confirmed my thought about them, they are scammers. They received the Instrument and stole from me about $415.65 (I paid for the 8 months) plus $550+ to end the contract, all these for a used Sax that was only worth $400 or less. Their rep claimed to be a collector but never trust any collector from this company, they all work in H&H, and they will want to force you to pay at once or 3 times please don't fall for it, I wish I can pay it $1 per month..lol I will never do business with them ever again. They ripped me off my hard-earned money, please run away from H&H Music. I would give no stars if I could. Anyway, I bought brand new Sax for my son today, the same model/brand for just $750 plus protections.

Easy rental process. I was directed here from Caraway strings for a place that may have a half size violin for rental. They did and the process took less than 20 minutes to sign up and walk out instrument in hand. Quick and easy instrument rental.

I went in to the store on LBJ to try to get a replacement pad for a clarinet. My grandson needed it for Monday. I did not have the instrument with me as it was still at his house. I asked if there was a kit that I could buy that would have a variety of parts as I was unsure of the size of pad. The clerk said that nothing like that was available. LIE, I found one on Amazon. That happens to be the store that repairs a brought to so I asked if I could just purchase a pad with some cement. The clerk said that all they would do is repair the horn if I could bring it in. And he was quite rude about it. Glad I didn't get around to the renting the trumpet I need for my granddaughter. Who knows how they would have stood behind that purchase. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
