This place is a nightmare. They called me 15 minutes before my reservation to cancel my reservation that I paid for!!! It took them two months to refund my money. And on top of that they told me they needed a new card number for the rental I gave it to them and two days later I had fraud on my card and was told by a supervisor they can’t update the card. I gave my card number to a criminal that works for budget now I have to press charges. Yay!!! You get what you pay for !

Avoid this place. They simply just do not do business the right way.$236 payment over the phone and Uber ride over there only for them to not be able to help me. To add insult to injury, 3-10 business days to receive a refund.Budget Car Rental- Please stop taking people’s money until services have been successfully confirmed.Often times, when people need a car, it’s because they are traveling. When you leave someone temporarily out over 250 bucks, it makes travel more stressful than it already is.Do better.

Spoke to Richard on the phone. He told me he doesn't have "time" to answer my questions regarding my return. I'm a SGT in the U.S. Army who's rental was late due to having to spend 2 days in the ER with my child. The 800 number customer service was lovely throughout this process and ensured me all I had to do was go inside the branch and I wouldn't be charged extra. To be brushed off by Richard the way I was is not only unprofessional but down right disgusting. Smh shame on your Richard for your words and behavior. To tell someone that you don't have time to answer questions about what was needed when I come in as I didn't know if you would need the hospital documentation, etc...that's ridiculous. I would NOT recommend this location. Humanity is dying.

Worst branch ever. Everyone is very rude here and the car type is not guaranteed and unclean. When asked for customer service, they were very impolite. First they give me a car out of my category and when that was not performing well they were not changing it. I went to the branch a few times, the two airports at dallas for a car and now here. This is worst budget experience! I’ve never had this. I am very disappointed. They are supposed to be helpful even after the rental is paid. Good Customer service is supposed to be during n after the rental too. It’s completely missing here.

There is a reason this place has 2.5 stars. It seems this location has provided below average service for many years. I hooked on budget website and did not look at the reviews google prior to booking. I saw there was a location 1 mile away and jumped up on it. My first mistake. First after reserving a car and taking a Lyft from where I left my car to get repaired, I was told there wasn’t any rentals- luckily they found me one and I was out of there in a stunning hour and half with only one other customer there. Then I go in the next day to extend my rental 5 days past my Original contract/ because I was told my car needed parts that were on back order- mind you I did this 24 hours before my rental was due the following day. I go home for the weekend- and then on Monday while I’m sitting in my office I get a text message stating my rental is 3 days past due!Then, due to the rain and crazy weather there was a little mud from our shoes getting in and out from the car during storms- there was none on the seats, just on floor. I don’t know how we are supposed to get in a car without our feet but I guess they expect and want that. The Carwash cleaned in 10 minutes so it was far from excessive. The Carwash people were even amazed at how petty budget was being- but apparently they get a lot of customers from this location - so it seems like they get FREE cleaning which obviously cuts down on their costs. I have never had excessive cleaning charges and have rented cars many times. I do not smoke or eat in the vehicles.So feel free to reserve from this location if you want to be arrested for a stolen car after you extend in person. Or if you want to pay for their regular upkeep of the cas. Excessive doesn’t mean routine cleaning- yet that is what they call it here.They are chaotic and unorganized. And just awful to work with. He doesn’t even remember me coming in 5 days ago to extend my rental. He said he’s done this for 27 years- maybe it’s time to retire.Go to Love field and save yourself the headache and potential arrest.

Briana is the worst employee you will ever come across. She is nothing but rude and will just laugh at you. I even asked her if she could just calm down because I was having a bad day and she laughed at me. Other employees were asking for the manager because she was rude to them as well when I was returning the vehicle. How is it that everyone reports her and they do nothing? Do not ever trust this rental car service. They also gave me a car with a dead battery key. Beyond childish. They also said it would be a day late when I returned it because there was a line at the time I returned it so it wouldn't be processed until the next day. How is that my fault? Avoid

Priceline allowed me to schedule a pickup at a location at 13536 Preston Road, Dallas, TX for April 8th, 2023. Due to being understaffed the representative at the location was closing the store at the same time as my reservation. She told me she attempted to call me once 15 minutes before the reservation and had expected I would arrive before my scheduled pick up time. I did not answer when she called, because I didn't know the number. I had spent $29.57 on lyft to get to that location. She told me to call Budget customer service to change pickup location and look into partial reimbursement for the second lyft Id have to take to that location ($14.33) at the Dallas Love Field airport. While on the phone with customer service, she told me I would have to leave the building so she could close. I told her I would wait until I got off the phone with Budget because I wanted to report her after making my reservation. She threatened to call the police and did call the police while I was on the phone with customer service. When I asked for the reservation to be moved to another budget location, the budget associate on the phone had initially scheduled the wrong pickup location for the reservation transfer, and the second representative I call edited my reservation to get the pickup location corrected, but hung up when the in store representative began to get louder and in my face. At the next Budget location where I had anticipated getting a rental car for work, they could not honor my original reservation because the second customer service rep never finished rescheduling my reservation when she hung up on me. Thus I had to pay 244.62 for a new, "same-day airport reservation" compromising the size of the vehicle I had anticipated at a price tag higher than the original reservation of $219.55 which included insurance. I was shocked and stressed the remainder of the evening.

tried to rent one of the many vehicles on the lot only to be told to wait 30 minutes for a manager since the employee at the desk wasn't capable to rent out a vehicle. after waiting, the manager came back just to let another woman cut me in line and give her a vehicle. proceed to tell me they have none available in the DFW area. Take your business elsewhere. employees are lazy and avoid work.

The owner is rude. Willing to talk poorly in front of customers and doesn’t know his own innovatory. If you can avoid this place I would at all cost because you will just waste your time waiting in line for them to tell you that don’t have a car and then they will try to give you a broken vehicle so you will shut your mouth.

I’m gonna give this location 4 stars. Mainly due to the hard work of Mr. Richard Dunphy . He was working by himself and under a lot of pressure trying to accommodate everyone although the shortage is out of his control. I hope this company treats him very well because he absolutely deserves it! Thank you Mr. Richard Dunphy for all of your help ?

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. There is a representative by the name of Briana that works here with a scarf on her head, and food between her teeth that has no sense of customer service skills. Very rude and disrespectful. She watches the phone ring and does not answer it, then you drive all the way to the location just to not be serviced after already confirming your booking by phone and paying. It’s completely free to be kind to people. If budget/Avis cares about their customers, they wouldn’t allow people like her to service them. I wish I would have read the reviews before going here. Lesson learned

I booked a car online, it was supposed to be at not cost and only be charged when I recieved the car, now I see a 36$ Charge on my card, this is absurd, I had to cancel the reserve because you didn`t have avaliability and you requested a credit card, which I dont have, I want my money back in my card

Drove all the way to this location after booking and paying online to be told they had no cars available. Not to mention it takes 3-5 days for you to get your money back and they refuse to allow you to speak to the location directly, instead you’re routed through to a call center. The call center reps tell you that it’s unfortunate that they don’t have up to date information about cars? Well you should t be allowed to book reservations and take payment if you cannot confirm that there will be a car there for me.
