Avoid getting your Budget Rental car at this location on NWHW west of Garland Road. They never have your car class at the location. The customer service is S-L-O-W and the agents have a bad attitude. We've rented from this location twice because it's convenient but will not do so in the future.

I wish I could give this place a zero!!! We had reserved a large SUV at the airport. I located this branch (which was a more convenient location) and asked if I could change my reservation and the young man on the phone said “no problem and to come get the SUV” my husband called and they told him to call reservations and have it switched to their location. When the reservation line didn’t show they had a similar vehicle in stock, reservation advised that they would have to downgrade the SUV. The rental location said it was no issue- then my husband receives a call from the owner where he advised we would not get the large SUV for the price we booked the reservation for, mind you , we already had a large SUV booked at that price and prepaid for it. He tells my husband that he’s not going to rent us the SUV.I called the location where the owner was extremely rude and told me the conversation never happened, which angered me. I asked the difference in the price ( oh forgot to mention the SUV was to drive to Kansas for the birth of our grandson - our daughter happened to be taken in for an emergency C Section as we are dealing with this mess ) he tells me it’s double the amount we had already paid and at this point , our car at the airport was gone. We are being blackmailed so I called the owner ( a not so nice name )and he advised he wouldn’t rent a vehicle to us from his location. My husband went there to smooth things over and the owner was adamant not to fix the mistake his employee made! He’s a scam artist and a horrible person!! He does not deserve your business!

This was by far the worse rental experience ever in my life. Got a rental for the weekend to travel to an event in Missouri from Texas 10hr drive. 1st rental i got from Dallas Tx & it barely made it to Missouri gave me a service light with a malfunction error message. Made it to Missouri thank god.. Jus for them to give me a worser carThen the 1st 1… St. Louis Missouri gave me a Ford Escape that ran hot 2 inna half hours outside of St Louis which left me stranded in the middle of NOWHERE. Roadside assistance WAS NOOO HLP. They sent regular ppl to come help me 4hrs later not a wecker or tow truck a regular person in a raggedy 03 Buick. I couldn’t believe it… I had to leave the rental get me a hotel &’book an Amtrak ticket to get home because that was the only transportation In popular bluff Missouri. I’m not done dealing with them so my ending results I can’t tell u about. I better get a full refund I know that much.

The customer service reps overcharged me and tried he argued with me instead of assisting and providing good customer service and the manager was worse than him. They both were extremely unprofessional and I am overly disappointed with this location. I had to stay on the phone with customer for hours to get the issue rescheduled, just for the location to try and charge me double of what the rental was even quoted at.Overall, I’d never rent from this location nor business again.

I reserved a Camry from this location 3 days in advance. In the process of assigning me a Camry the manager looks at my return destinantion(airport) and changes my reservation to a truck. I tell him I don't want a truck, I reserved a Camry. He then tells me a Truck is all we have and its an upgrade. I then tell him I don't want an upgrade I reserved a Camry. His response, "He doesn't need my business, I can leave.". I accepted the truck and had to drive to the airport to switch to a Camry. I've been a Fast Break member for 7+ years and rent cars often. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

My mother went to get a rental car from here, and the first car was a disaster due to the smell. However, the employees were so respectful and understanding that she was able to get a different car. I’m glad they were able to change the car with no extra fee, and it kept my mother safe.

WARNING...WARNING...WARNING!!! Watch out for these guys! They will charge you additional fees for existing damage to the car they rent to you. In my case they gave me the rattiest rental car I've ever had. Not only did it have 40,000 miles on the odometer but the steering wheel was flaking off and sticky and the passenger seat was visibly stained. It jerked to the right when I accelerated on the highway. I kept that junker for a week before finally taking it back and requesting a car in better condition. They thoroughly examined the car I returned and made me go vacuum out some dog hair left over from when I took my pet to the vet. They said they would charge me a cleaning fee if I didn't clean myself which I did. Once I vacuumed the car they took it back without any other problems and gave me a new ride. They never mentioned anything about the existing stain on the passenger seat. Fast forward to a month later. I was unhappy with several of the final invoices on the cars I rented. They were higher than the prices quoted when I reserved the cars online. I noted that in a survey and within a week I received a note out of the blue saying that the car's passenger seat was stained. Pretty sketchy timing if you ask me. Supposedly it was so bad that they supposedly had to take the vehicle out of service for two days to be cleaned. But mysteriously, although the (pre-existing) car seat stain was never noticed or mentioned when I had returned the car a month earlier. I called their customer service line and was pretty much told that I had supposedly caused the car seat stain and to get lost. I've already disputed the $125 cleaning fee with my credit card. I also filed a complaint with the Dallas office of the Better Business Bureau. My next step is to call one of the local consumer affairs TV reporters. If necessary, I'll take the matter to Small Claims Court. It's only $125 but the simple fact of the matter is that I don't like being cheated. In the meantime, I would highly recommend that you avoid renting any kind of vehicle from this Budget location. Read all the other "1 Star" reviews and you'll see that I'm not the only one to have issues with this location.

I use Budget Car Rental quite frequently and I have never had a bad or annoying experience. The vehicle I want is available consistently and when it is not, I am always upgraded to something extrodinary. I will continue using them as long as the Lord will allow

I used to rent here all the time, but too many times I've reserved a vehicle only to find that none are available when I came to pick-up. This time, they sent me to Love Field to pick-up my pre-paid vehicle, and I had to stand in line for almost an hour. Altogether, this made me almost 2 hours late to my appointment.
