Wasn't going to bother leaving a review but this place closed down and now that I've seen other reviews pop up, I'm going to chime in on my experience. Took my dog here (bought several doggy daycare packages) because he had separation anxiety while my husband and I were at work. After months of going and watching my dog just sitting watching out the fenced in pen they keep some dogs in (you could watch in livestream), I picked him up one day and they told me he had bitten someone, and that it was the second time. My dog has been going to daycare since he was a puppy and has never bitten anyone in his life, including to this day! I was totally caught off guard and also very angry that - if they were being honest - that they didn't say anything the "first" time. I knew it was a lie and that my dog clearly was not safe here. Something was up and clearly others had similar weird or unfortunate experiences here. Im so glad we never took our sweet boy here again even though we ate a few hundred dollars on a daycare package. He has gone to another doggy daycare in Dallas (BHV) and we have only had positive experiences and feedback, as to be expected. I wanted to leave this review in case this place somehow re-opens.. look elsewhere for your fur babies!

Always trust my dog here. Large space and lots of outdoor areas to play. Well ventilated. Real time cameras anyone can access, so there's no secret what's happening when you're away. Always fresh water. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. I've never boarded though, but can highly recommend the day care.

I do not mention doggy daycare or boarding without the name "Camp Bow Wow". The establishment is exceptional as well as the service. They really make it a point to try to remember your name and your fur baby name. I have taken Bohdi to many doggy daycare services and nothing compares to Camp Bow Wow. Seriously! Don't even bother going anywhere else. I know that Bohdi is always in loving, caring hands when there. I've recommended so many people there and who have all returned. Thank you, Camp Bow Wow!

We love Camp Bow Wow. Very easy to make a reservation for daycare and boarding. Sometimes you can even make daycare reservations day of if they aren’t too busy. Being able to watch your dog on camera is also quite comforting and a great touch. The staff really seems to care about those dogs as well.

*See Yelp for pics related to this reviewI decided to take my baby, Darla, to Camp Bow Wow because the vet had recommended them. When I took the tour of the facilities, the doggy day camp seemed ok; however where the dogs were boarded seemed dingy and scared me a little. So I cancelled my first boarding appt.I decided to go ahead and do doggy day camp, with the exception of the fact that the people never really paid attention to her or pet her much when there (you can see through the camera they have set up) it was non-eventful. So I decided to go ahead and give boarding a try. I dropped her off on a Wednesday for day camp, she spent the night, was there for day camp again Thursday and then I picked her up on that Thursday evening. She was acting a little different but I thought she was just tired. The next day she didn’t leave the house and she still seemed tired and didn’t sleep with me on the bed like she normally did, but she was still eating and drinking fine, so still thought maybe she was tired. The next morning when I tried to let her she flinched and looked scared. Then I saw that she was swollen on her shoulder above her front leg. I looked and saw that there looked like a scratch. So I rushed her to the vet because of the swelling. When I took her, they shaved her and she had puncture wounds! I called camp bow wow right a way and the manager on the phone said no one had reported anything and would give me credit. I called the Monday following and asked for the video to be reviewed and that I would like the vet bill covered and my money (because I had bought a package thinking I’d take her more). That manager (different from Saturday) said she didn’t know how to view the videos because it was a new system and shed ask the owner about the refund. Well after a few days of back and forth, I finally spoke with someone the Thursday after at where she said the video was no longer available because it records over itself after 3-4 days ??. Then basically I was told that they wouldn’t cover the vet bill because when I signed the form when I first left her for dog camp, it was basically “leave at your own risk”. I can completely understand if my dog had gotten kennel cough that the was the case but my dog got BIT and no one saw anything and then the video couldn’t be viewed???? So the owner said no that he wouldn’t pay the vet bill; however I could have credit to more stays (now why would I ever go back?). I was refunded the amount of the package that I hadn’t used yet (not all of it).

My dog and my girlfriend both LOVE this place. My dog has visited a few daycare facilities, and this one is about the best she's experienced. The indoor/outdoor element - that is, the fact that dogs can play outside, the cameras with streaming on their website, and the care that the personnel give the dogs all make it a wonderful place. Also, my girlfriend never has any difficulty communicating with the staff because they're distracted or whatever - they're good listeners. So thank you!

Beefy absolutely loves going to camp. I am so thankful for everyone that has taken a chance on him and been accepting of him learning good behavior. I think he is doing much better now and I am grateful for his camp family!

I took my dog here once and it was a terrible experience for her. I’m not sure what the ratio is as far as attendant to dog, but there were way too many dogs in one area. On camera, I watched my dog follow the attendant to get some sort of relief from the chaos and she was ignored the entire time. When I picked her up, she was literally shaking and looked incredibly stressed. She’s been to daycares before and will not be returning to this location.

This business and specifically this location is ran exceptionally well! The level of care and attention the staff at Camp Bow Wow Dallas has provided to my fur baby CONSISTENTLY for YEARS has been amazing and I am so thankful. When I first started taking my girl there I was a new first time dog owner by myself and their services and support gave me the confidence and peace of mind that I was capable of properly caring for a high energy puppy and that she was happy and safe in Camp Bow Wow Dallas’s care. They have been so good to my dog, thank you!

This Camp Bow Wow locations is very good. Overall, I'd probably recommend the Rowlett location. In comparison to the Rowlett location, this Camp Bow Wow location is $5 cheaper per night (which adds up on long stays), closer to all airports (which is super convenient), but also much busier.I love that I can see my dog on webcam during the day. However, I was surprised to see that some of this location's play areas were packed to the gills with tons and tons of dogs, and other play areas had maybe 5-6 dogs in a giant room. The staff is friendly, but was not as immediately knowledgeable about my dog as the Rowlett location. When I've dropped my dog off at the Rowlett location and called to check on him, the person answering the phone immediately knows which dog I'm talking about and can answer any and all questions (e.g., are they eating? how are they doing? are they sleeping on their bed or on the floor?). The Dallas location didn't even really know who my dog was when I called to check in on him.All in all, I think the dogs have a great time no matter which Camp Bow Wow you take them to. The Rowlett location is a little newer, a little less crowded, and the staff seems a little more familiar with the animals they're taking care of.

My Camp Bow Wow location (Design Center in Dallas) is the best doggy day care facility I’ve ever found. Great, caring staff and ownership, web cam, bath availability...and my 2 small fur children LOVE to go there!!!
