Our room was infested with ants, and not only that, they charged us a $150 security deposit and kept part of it for absolutely no reason. These guys are thieves, the staff is very unfriendly and the place is dirty and nasty.

Rooms were large and a decent price. The hallways were hot as the AC was not on but the rooms are fine and it's not like you hangout in the hallways anyway. Service dog friendly and accessible. The staff was nice and efficient. Parking was available at the front of the building. The dog relief station isn't fenced but it has bags and a trash can available.Rooms: The room smelled like old cigarettes but the bed was decent, had a nice kitchenette, good sized bathroom, and the water in the shower got hot.Nearby activities: Near some decent places, quick drive to drinks/food/etc.Noteworthy details: Service dog friendly. The staff was educated on ADA laws.

‼️This Place Smells owful‼️The Owner of this hotel needs to come and see if he/she will stay here. The whole building stinked really bad tons of carpet stains throughout the facility. Rooms were disgusting and also a smell that we had to buy candles. Towels in the room stinked bad that we had to ask for different towels cause of the smell. Definitely, if you're going to stay here, which I don't THINK YOU SHOULD BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS AND AIR FRESHENER AND CANDLES ‼️‼️. Rooms are very outdated and run down. You smell a lot of weed smoking going on in this building, which also was disappointing. I definitely would like to hear from the Owner or send me a form of contact and I'll reach outRooms: Rooms stink really bad. Front desk gave use air spray but that doesn't solve a problemNearby activities: Close to EverythingWalkability: Restaurants Mall and restaurants walking distance

Traveling can be a mix of experiences, ranging from the forgettable to the delightful. For those who find themselves on the road often, discovering a hotel that provides a positive experience can make all the difference. A clean environment, efficient service, and comfortable accommodations are the hallmarks of a great stay. When a hotel gets it right, it's worth noting. From the seamless check-in process to the attentive staff, every detail contributes to the overall experience. It's the small things, like the handling of minor issues by staff members such as Maria and Kim, that leave a lasting impression. A good night's sleep is invaluable, especially when it's in a bed that seems to erase the stress of travel. For anyone seeking a prime location coupled with top-notch amenities and a friendly team, finding a hotel that ticks all these boxes is like striking gold. It's these places that become a traveler's go-to, a home away from home, where the next stay can't come soon enough. In the world of travel, recommendations are worth their weight in gold, and a strong endorsement for a hotel like Sonesta Simly Suites where simplicity meets comfort, can be the deciding factor for many. It's clear that when the essentials are executed perfectly, it elevates the entire travel experience, making it not just bearable, but enjoyable. For the frequent traveler, these wonderful experiences are what make the journey worth it, turning the dreaded travel days into anticipated adventures. The right hotel doesn't just offer a place to sleep—it offers a place to live, even if just for a night. And that's what makes all the difference.

Whoever hired that person to work at the front desk, what was he thinking about, money, profits or the importance of customers, I don't think so for sure.

I booked a room to stay In town to attend my grandfather funeral. They refused to let me check in because I didn't have the card i used to make payment upon booking( Mind you I had already paid for the room in full). Also upon checking in I was told I had to pay 150 deposit(which wasn't on site when I booked) but cool I even offered to change the card to a card I had at the time and they still refused to allow me to check in . I went to the location twice to check in and they didn't allow me. This process took up to 4 hours and they still refuse to let me check in. I will be contacting corporate. And the the attendant with the LONG HAIR WAS VERY RUDE AND WAS VERY SNAPPY AND I DONT APPRECIATE IT. ZERO OUT OF 10 I DONR RECOMMEND.

The service was horrible and the manager or worker at the time was rude. He acted like he didn't want me there and basically shoved me out the door. All because I wasn't aware of a deposit of $150 when booking the room that he never told me about. And It sounded like he made a racist remark towards me under his breath. He stereotyped me he tried to say I was committing fraud bc I was on the phone with my girl and I asked her to zelle me the money for room. He totally disrespected ME. I will never go back here IF YOUR BLACK EXPECT TO BE STEREOTYPED, DISRESPECTED IF YOU GO HERE!

Buyer beware just because somewhere has a cheap price doesn’t mean that you’re about to get away with it they had $150 incidental fee for a $50 room never in my life have I even heard of that when I paid 200+ for a hotel so you’re not bargaining anywhere there. Another thing is they wouldn’t let me add a name to my reservation so my friend could get a key to get in the hotel room before me. They said I have to go through a third-party, which has never been a thing. So many other options in the area that are exponentially better. And nicer.

When driving to this hotel, the area is dark, so it was very easy to miss the turn to enter the hotel. The front desk person was nice and very efficient in getting us checked in and giving us our room keys. The hotel room was spacious but wasn't the cleanest room I stayed in. The kitchen had two broken cabinets that kept falling off, the bathroom toilet kept getting clogged, and sadly, this place had no breakfast (their other location did). It's affordable but the place is very forgetful. So, if you're looking to save money in TX, go here. Fyi: Our downstairs neighbors kept complaining about us being noisy - we were literally pulling out the pull out bed from the couch.Walkability: Starbucks and other small food places and stores were walking distant.

Ive stayed at many Sonesta hotels most of them have been great, however this one definitely tarnishes the brand.Firstly, the tall receptionist lady at the front makes it feel more like checking into a prison than a hotel. For a customer facing job a better attitude should be held.Secondly, as a member I’m supposed to get some perks however this location claims they don’t honor those perks. Luckily when i called the national line they were able to still give them to me.Executive management should look into this location because it doesn’t fit in with the rest of the chain.

Its almost like you paying twice, I book through a 3rd party and they still ask for a card separately for any damages to the room.
