I read some of the bad reviews and I disagree with them! This is a great grocery store with lots of options and a huge produce section! I was thankful for the reasonable prices too! I'm glad I came by here it's my new go-to grocery store.

I'm done. Tired of placing orders for delivery via Instacart and much of it shows in stock, but not in stock when order is placed. I might really need 5 things, but pad order with another 10 items. Most of the needed items actually weren't in stock, but the rest are. I'm done with Central Market and Instacart. Monitoring inventory is easy. Apparently fraud and misrepresentation are easier.

Where have you been all my LIFE I'm an avid WF/Sprout/Trader Joe's Girl and was asked by a family friend who knows my relationship with quality organics and one off items that can only be found in certain stores, if I heard of CM.I am new to Texas so I hadn't heard of CM and was pleased when I arrived with my family. Upon entering the staff was friendly and our children were offered balloons. We got a cart and started through veggies, when I say MUSHROOMS GALORE I mean it. They had EVERY mushroom I've searched for and had to go to certain stores for. I get my protein from mushrooms mainly and make anything from vegan steak to vegan chicken to vegan tacos and more. The fresh herbs are amazing as well and come freshly pulled and only need to be added to water once you return home. The meat section is overwhelming for me as I am not a meat eater and some of the FISH displayed is larger than my 5 year old son. My husband dabbles in meat so he enjoys that section. The gelato counter upon exit is the icing on the cake for my children as they work hard to help us with the groceries to expedite the exit at the gelato counter ;-) I can say that CM is a part of our rotation now when it comes to getting groceries. I Just don't appreciate having to pay for the kids fruit section. It's Free at WF, Sprout & TJ's

By far my favorite grocery store in Dallas. Everything is always so fresh, and I mean EVERYTHING. I love how you enter the code onto the machines by the fruits and vegetables and it prints out a label that has the exact price on them so it will not be any surprises at the register. They have a huge variety of different things. It's so easy to get lost in this store by looking at everything because you feel like a kid in a candy store. I like that when getting fresh me and seafood that you have to take a number and they call you so there's no confusion on who is next. Right before you get to the register there's and area where you could get hot food and ice cream which is always a plus if you're like me and refuse to cook after grocery shopping so you can grab food to eat asap.

Do not buy ANY sweet potato pies from this location!!! I noticed that ALL the sweet potato pies looked "significantly darker" than the pumpkin pies and seems as if all the sweet potato pies appeared to be "crumbly"/"coming apart" in comparison to all of the different type of pumpkin pies this location offered. Normally, when a "good" sweet potato pie is made, you can't tell the difference between the two in color until you taste them. I gave this store the benefit-of-the-doubt and purchased two of them on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 to bring over on Thanksgiving for my family to have after Thanksgiving dinner. On Thanksgiving Day, we open a box and cut a slice and could HARDLY taste any sweet potato in the pie. Whatever OTHER ingredients put in this pie, sweet potato apparently wasn't the MAIN INGREDIENT. I got a slice and did NOT like it. The rest of my family tasted the pie and did not like their slices as well. So whatever crew was baking these pies at the Lovers Lane location did a PI$$ POOR job on these pies. If this location/company, does understand how to bake a sweet potato, THEN DON'T BAKE ONE/ANY! NEWSFLASH: As of 11-26-2023, my nephew texts me a picture of the same Central Market sweet potato pies that he was throwing away because they had mold on them. I'm never buying ANY pies from this company (Central Market) or any company affiliated with them ever again!

I was treated badly as an employee at the Midway Central Market. I reported abusive behavior by a leader in my foodie group several times. It only made things worse for me.

Hands down the best grocery store in Dallas. They seafood counter is second to none, the wine area makes you wonder if you're still in a grocery store. The bulk foods are great and very well priced. They also have their in-house nut butters, some of which you can grind yourself. The coffee selection is great too. The cheese section and bakery is just like no other grocery store you've ever been in. I love the design of the store itself also. It's designed to go through in one direction starting in produce and ending in the floral department(bonus- they have $1 roses on Tuesday). The layout design can take some getting used to especially if you shop without a list. If you're coming on a Saturday or Sunday morning, don't be alarmed by the parking lot, the checkout is fast and most lanes are opened. No self checkout and they have baggers to help you bag or totally bag your items. The people who go to this store are nice enough to put carts back where they belong too. This was longer than I thought it was going to be, but this is the most terrific grocery store experience one could ever have.

The custom sandwich counter as absolutely fantastic. For less than $10, you can take home a sandwich, with your choice of bread, sauce, meat/alternative, 4 base toppings and a cheese of your choice. Fresh, high quality ingredients. Service is always friendly and attentive.

As a tourist from Canada, I always love visiting local supermarkets and found this place not too far from our hotel. We like stocking up on snacks for our room and just enjoy checking out different types of food available compared to back home. This supermarket is beautiful, large parking lot, lots of room and so much selection! Upon entering, the first area is for produce, plenty of fruits and veggies, fresh squeezed juice and a real market feel, kind of like Trader Joes's. I could tell this was a higher end store. Once you move through the aisles, there's really everything you could need and more. Large selection of wine and beer, huge cheese counter, deli, butcher and ready made foods. All the fresh items made on site like baked goods or pastas for example looked delicious. We already had lunch but couldn't resist and ordered a serving of mac and cheese and potatoes at the deli counter. There is a sit down area that is conveniently equipped with microwaves, perfect for an employee break or for everyone else who wants a quick lunch. We warmed up the food and it was so tasty. Honestly the supermarket mac and cheese was creamy and rich, one of the best I've ever had! They even had a gelato counter so we shared a bowl. For an elevated grocery experience, Central Market delivers - you aren't just shopping for basic goods, you're finding all kinds of unique items and can enjoy a very good meal either on the spot or to take home. It feels nice to spend time in. Small standout item for me was the bottled water, the selection is very impressive. They have their own store brand of mineral water from Fiji. I have never seen that anywhere!

Not the best customer experience. I'm 32 years old, my husband is 31 and we were there yesterday to buy some food and wine when the self-checkout machine requested age validation, the same as Target or Whole Foods machines do. A staff member came for that and when we showed her our Visa (which is in our Argentinian passport) she seemed confused and said she had to check with her supervisor and we didn't think anything bad from that since it may be the 1st time for her seeing a passport from Argentina. But when she came back TWO more staff members were there with her and one of them started looking at my husband's visa picture and comparing it to his face, then she asked him how old was he, and when I asked them if that was a regular procedure with foreign documents since we purchase in Whole food all the time and there no one ever doubted of our identity or age they didn't provide any explanation and the supervisor said something like "Okay let's find out" scanned the ID in the machine and let us continue with the purchase. We wish we looked younger than 21 but sadly we don't haha so it was a very awkward situation for us, they seemed to be trying to check if we were illegal immigrants or something like that (which we are not) more than trying to check our ages and of course, they didn't explain why they were doubting nor provide any apologies for the uncomfortable moment.

We went to see some of the artwork our son did for Passport to Portugal at the Dallas store where he works in the Art Department. Amazing experience. We have always loved the experience Central Market offers and the unique items they carry. If you have never been to a Central Market, don't keep waiting; get in your car and head that way!

Pricey? Yes...but, as my mother always said, you get what you pay for... Fabulous produce, cheese, seafood...and, oh, the BAKERY! Don't miss their breakfast bread...you will NEVER eat another piece of toast again.

I never write reviews for anything on here but i just felt so bothered by the horrible customer service in this location . I asked two employees in two different occasions about the cost of an orange juice bottle since the price tag was nowhere to be found. (trust me when I say I searched carefully to be sure that I wasn't going to ask an obvious question.) They both responded really rudely and loud about "Not working in this department" & "I don't know lady" with an aggressive tone. The problem isn't that they didn't work for that department and didn't know about the price BUT the way they behaved in such a improper manner. They could have just politely said they didn't work for the damn department and referred to us to someone who did, Its not that difficult. Ive had rough days at work but I never spread such negativity to customers. Yes, I understand customer service is difficult because of certain individuals BUT I was in nowhere disrespectful to these employees. Bless their hearts.. lol.

Skin Color Challenged! This location has been a favorite of mine for several years. Saturday my daughter and I had an awesome time shopping for fresh fruits and vegetables. We headed to check out and our cashier that day was David B. who scanned all of items which we had over $300 worth of goodies. he did not assist with bagging our groceries he stood watching us as we struggled bagging quickly in order not to hold up the line the cashier did not call for someone to help us bag our groceries we had so much stuff I grabbed extra bags an we finished bagging the rest of our groceries outside the store. When we started walking away from the cashier the gentleman behind us had only a few items and as we are walking away a bagger rushes to assist to bag his groceries hmmmm. I called to express my concern regarding the service with the manager on duty that day (Pam) who stated this was simply a scheduling issue as if she did not have enough baggers scheduled on a Saturday at Central Market Lovers Lane Location. Headed To Trader Joes!

This place is huge! Lots of fresh foods everywhere I went to the bakery but the lady didn't acknowledge me until I had to say something then again she probably couldn't see me their counter is so highest I have to recommend their White Rosette cake (buttercream icing) it is delicious!
