The issue began when I purchased a gift card from Nordstrom's, only to discover that it had been tampered with prior to my purchase. Unfortunately, the money on the card had been stolen, leaving me with an empty gift card.When I reached out to Nordstrom's customer service to explain the situation and request a refund or replacement, I was met with an unexpected and unsatisfactory response. Despite providing proof of purchase and explaining the tampering, they refused to refund the money or replace the gift card.This lack of willingness to rectify the situation left me feeling frustrated and let down. As a loyal customer, I expected better customer service from Nordstrom's, especially when faced with a clear case of tampering and theft. Their unwillingness to take responsibility for the issue and provide a satisfactory resolution is simply unacceptable.I understand that policies and procedures are in place to protect the company, but in this instance, it feels like Nordstrom's prioritized their own interests over customer satisfaction. It is disheartening to see a company of their reputation fail to stand behind their products and ensure their customers' trust and loyalty.I hope that Nordstrom's takes this feedback constructively and reevaluates their approach to customer service in situations like mine. It is crucial for a company of their stature to prioritize customer satisfaction and go above and beyond to rectify issues, especially when it involves theft and tampering.In conclusion, my experience with Nordstrom's customer service regarding the tampered gift card was disappointing and left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I hope that Nordstrom's will take this feedback seriously and work towards improving their customer service policies to prevent such incidents from happening in the future.

Bad bad bad!!! With my girlfriend getting dress she had altered, she brought 3 dresses in and all 3 were altered so bad not a one works. And the were rude.

I ordered a bottle of cologne as a gift from Nordstroms.It was delivered on Friday 11/3 EMPTY...... The LSO driver cut the tape, stole the item and delivered by an empty box to my front door. I am pissed off!!! I have been dealing with Nordstrom "customer service" who is refusing to replace the item. I am not looking for a refund I just want the item I purchased. Nordstrom is using a cheap delivery service LSO who STEALS from the customer. I have left a negative review on the BBB and I called, emailed, the LSO SHIPPING SERVICE. T was appalled when I saw the LSO negative shipping reviews and why is Nordstrom using them. I will be calling the corporate office Monday .... I NEED SOMEONE TO RIGHT THIS WRONG ASAP..... Nordstrom needs to do better!! The used to be high end and care about customers.Nordstrom has fixed the issue! BEWARE of getting deliveries

I ate at the Nordstrom Café at the Galleria today. Our pizza was cold and our service was even more frigid. When I heard the Chef was also the GM, I laughed. He seems more suited as a prep cook at Top Golf. Someone should check the validity of his resume.

What can I say other than Nordstrom is my all-time favorite department store. The layout is classy, the items they offer are well made and the staff is available without pressuring you to buy anything. This location is a bit smaller than other stores I've visited in California and part of that may have to do with construction that is taking place on the third level which made it difficult for me to even find the entrance. All of the typical departments are there but they seem to be on a slightly smaller scale right now as anything I had looked at wasn't in my size and an employee advised going online or they could order it for me and have it delivered which I appreciate. One thing I miss was not being serenaded by a live piano player on the first level as I've seen in other stores but that is certainly not a make or break type of thing.

Reed in shoes went out of his way to help me find the perfect running shoe. I knew which brand I wanted but the sizes and fits were different with the styles. I didn't feel rushed and he didn't seem aggravated as it took me a good amount of time to decide. Definitely provided the best shopping experience I've had in a long time. Thanks Reed.

Not at all what I expected of a store. Overall just disappointing from buying in the store and even at the return desk from buying online. Customer service rushed me, were rude, and overall lacking patience. It took a good 40min for me to be taken care off do to so many mess ups because they didn't take care of me the right way the first time. I had to come back to them a few times. Will not be buying from Nordstrom for a long while. Still shocked that JCpenney has better customer service in store and online returns. I'm a new Nordstrom customer and have such bad taste in my mouth about how they run there store. Might not even reconsider them. Will see! I do like there clothes but not there service!! Grrrr!
