Greeter was so weird today. Went to Chase Bank seeking a fellow notary to take my oath and he acted as if I wanted to run away with her…he totally controlled the situation right down to lying about her not having her notary stamp and everything. First, he went to ask a teller about the notary, instead of asking the notary herself. Mind you, this notary was referred to me by another fellow notary.
I had an opportunity to speak with her myself when I walked in, but he stopped me, asked me to wait, and proceeded to go and talk to a teller. While being obedient and polite, two clients walked in.
He then tells me that it’s going to be a 40min wait. Well I was on a 2 hour lunch so I had time. I sat down and 2 more customers walked in asking for a notary and he told them the same thing.
Two of us did not believe this guy, like why are you telling us this lady doesn’t have her supplies for a service offered by the bank and you didn’t even speak with her.
Well guess what, it didn’t take 40 min (more like 7mins) and before I could reach her office the greeter went in like a bodyguard and sat down before I could get there. Mind you, the actual bodyguard was watching in confusion with me. And, what do you think he told her? Yep, I watched this man tell a bank employee as she reached for her drawer to say she doesn’t have her supplies. Her face said she was more confused than we were???
Needless to say, I didn’t get my notarization, but we set an appointment for her to meet me in my office in the evening.
Greeter just weird for no reason…what was the point of denying three customers notary services? SAD

I have NEVER been able to get a hold of an actual human at this bank. If you finally make it through their wall of automated button prompts to get it to actually TRY to connect you to a human, they will not answer and you will not be put on hold. Why!? Just put me on hold. I will wait to all a human being a question.
This is single-handedly responsible for my leaving Chase. I am done. I look forward to having with literally anyone else.

The ATM never works. Never. The inside teller entry never works. All this money and you can't keep. Coming here is a waste of time and energy.

Honestly, it's team members like Javier Aviles-Rodriguez that have kept me from closing my business account with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank (Chase). The past few months I had been experiencing problem after problem when it came to my account and the third party chase uses for check verification located out of India.Despite it being near closing time, Javier took the time to listen to my frustrations and helped me solve the problem I was experiencing with my account. My phenomenal experience with Javier is what kept me from transferring my business account to another competitor.

I have been banking with Chase since I was 16 years old. I have NEVER in the close to 20 years of being a customer had to “secure an appointment” online prior to walking in to be helped. I went in this morning the moment the branch opened, hoping to simply open a savings account for my 1 year old. I must not have mentioned I was already a customer who had quite a sum already banking with them :) (oops) because they told me they were booked solid but “may be able to squeeze me in around 12.” Went into the Coit branch, who were eager to help without any appointment necessary, and they were arguably busier by the looks of the lobby. Not sure what business model this particular branch is operating off of, but if you’re looking for decent customer service there are other Chases nearby that you won’t need an appointment at 9 am on a Wednesday. This is not Wall Street…sorry to tell y’all you’re not that important!
