For years, circa20c Modern Design has been my absolute favorite place to shop for high quality mid-century furniture and collectibles in Dallas.

Horrible Customer Service. The lady with the blonde hair doesn't even bother to speak. She's the worst. The second time this has happen.

Had a very bad experience with this place. Their designs are absolutely not modern at all. I can’t believe someone had the audacity to include “modern designs” in their company name. Their furniture was absolutely hideous & the staff was very pretentious!!!!! I walked in with normal clothes & got treated like I was non existent, little do they know how much of a budget I had to spend that day.

Jean has great taste and she is so knowledgeable! The furniture is beautiful and rotates frequently. Always worth a visit.

If you want to learn about mid-century furniture, spend a few minutes talking to Jean. Her store is beautiful and she knows what she's talking about.

This REVIEW is NOT entirely POSITIVEI am giving 5 stars because this business may have/has employees who are not responsible for a lower star rating that it should receive, and it would not be fair to them.I have been to this store several times. Fully prepared to buy something, but I never seem to want to conduct a transaction in the end, and almost every time I ended up buying something from other mid-cent-modern stores. My original post expressed an opinion about the "energy" of the owner. I apologize for that. What I should have said is the owner is "not my cup of tea," thereby owning the decision and not casting an opinion on someone I don't know.Unfortunately when I get that feeling in the pit of my stomach, I find it very difficult to give my hard earned money to a person that invokes that feeling for me. I get it, you don't always have to like everyone you do business with. However, if the feeling is strong enough, I just won't...or can't bring myself to do business with them.-Do I think she knows a lot about mid-century modern history?...sure-Do I think the store has beautiful pieces in it?...sure-Do I think the items are overpriced?... absolutely, most of them appear to be-Is price the only factor for me to make a purchase? NO, not at all. In fact it's probably the last factor (unless it George Katsutoshi Nakashima, then price is moved to the top of my list because I am just so hard/rough on furniture, and I buy pieces (for all of my homes) to be used- not just admired)I think everyone reading this review should stop in to this store and see the amazing collection and potentially buy something...and if not for anything else, for the experience and the energy.Unfortunately for me, after reading the owners response to my original review (see image), I could never bring myself to buy anything from this establishment. Not my cup of tea.

Going on 4 months and still have not recieved the remaining balance. For the demolition and framing at this store. I wonder how it's looking in there after they got some free work done. Jean and Anthony when can I come by for the remaining balance? Or should I take a seat with the other contractors you owe, because standing up we're gonna get tired. Well hope you all make some sales soon. So I can get paid. Good day now.I dont see no harrassment, I see someone wanting to get paid for their work. If you cant pay nor accept true review of your business then you should not operating one.So there you have it people. They will use you and turn against you to save them selves. Why put Google in it. You asked them to help your business as you did with me. What a joke.

Female working the today 11/27/20 needs some customer service training hardcore. The worst customer experience ever! No sense of urgency and we had to initiate any conversation of a greeting or saying goodbye. No check in either. Set the energy for the shopping experience.

Excellent selection. This store should not be missed if you are searching for vintage mid-century furniture in Dallas. Jean was very helpful and knowledgeable.

This place is run by snobs who can't be bothered to talk to anyone. Their furniture is RIDICULOUSLY priced - as in, a reupholstered couch that is 40+ years old with a price tag of $20,000. Honestly Lula B's is so much better with friendly staff, reasonable prices and a plethora of inventory. This place is sparse, overpriced and a waste of a shopping trip. Don't bother.

Went to a event last Friday hosting a dealer of mid-century photos. The staff could not be nicer and I got some pointers on my own photography on top of seeing some rare prints. Highly recommended!
