I turned in a stocking to be finished February 9, 2023, after several months and a few phone calls I was able to pick up my stocking finished on November 17, 2023. The price was high for the amount of time I had to wait. The quality of finish was not the best.

When I walked in I was immediately greeted by Sasha. She proceed to help me find the perfect material for my next project. She was patient & amazingly helpful. Can’t wait to go back!

So happy I was able to stop in while on an overnight in Dallas! If you want “fancy” floss, they’ve got it! Lots of notions, decorative buttons, etc. It’s more of a needlepoint than cross stitch store, but they did have samplers from several designers. The staff was very helpful & welcoming!

Great service and very cute store! Also there's a place for husbands to relax while the wife shops!

They have friendly staff and a beautiful array of threads, however, this place is highly specialized. They cater almost exclusively to needlepoint. They have a huge selection of beautiful, expensive, hand painted needlepoint canvases. There is a modest selection of cross stitch kits, but they are pretty old fashioned designs. There is nothing worth mentioning for those who do embroidery or crewel. If you do any form of needlework beyond needlepoint, this is a nice place to pick up some beautiful threads, beads, scissors, and accessories, but don’t expect to find any inspiration for your next project.

Wonderful, wonderful store - service was outstanding, selection is remarkable - high end, very classy store, but super fresh, too. They have an amazing array of needlepoint canvases, and a really delicious variety of perle, floss, embroidery ribbon, etc. In addition to the usual, there are wide ranges of silk, over dyed, textured threads, etc. Also a nice selection of seed beads - Delica and others, (patterns, kits as well.)Big classroom - I am hoping they have classes, but I haven’t checked yet. They can also order something if they don’t have it in stock.Great place!!!

I've been going to this shop for a couple of years now, and I always look forward to browsing their extensive selection of exotic and unusual threads that are difficult to find. I always seem to pick up something fun to experiment with in addition to what I came in the store for. Everyone has always been nice, polite and helpful towards me and the other customers in the store when I'm there and I enjoy swapping stories about the projects we are working on. We are fortunate to have such a store in the area we can go to, as trying to match colors or predict what a thread color will look like is difficult when ordering online. I find that being able to see the products in person is really valuable when choosing threads for a project. I'm happy to support a local small business that offers these niche products and is able to feed my thread habit!

Honestly I was really excited to go check this store out since I recently got into sketching but it was a pretty terrible experience. The staff was very cold and I honestly felt like I didn't belong there. I would strongly suggest for anyone reading this to take their business elsewhere.

Lovely needlepoint shop. Nice collection of bags, and accessories to go with your needlepoint. Many I have never seen prior to visiting the shop. Loved the handmade cover for the magnifying glass. Cute different canvases. Lovely large area to take classes nestled in the back of the shop.

I visited Creative Stitches for the first time today and all the positive reviews are 100% accurate! I was rushing and the ladies jumped in to get me back on the road again. My new favorite place to shop! Than you!!

Wanted to support a local small business and was willing to pay a little more than the competition in order to do so. First call went fine, but when I called back to find out how much shipping would be, I could hear the conversation taking place between the gal who answered the phone the second time and the one I spoke to the first time ... and let's just say the gal I first spoke to was none too kind and was complaining about my calling back. Told the gal that answered the phone the second time that I would be taking my $350 elsewhere. I suggest teaching your sales associates to use mute if you can't find kinder people.

Honestly the most mediocre stitching store I've ever been to. Customer service was just rude too.
