They financed a vehicle for my husband in July. When tried to register, found we were not getting notices that registration was expired, as contacted the State and found out the car is not registered. Been escallating since November 2023, more excuses today (2/5/24). I am driving an unregistered vehicle and have been for over 5 months with the still chasing their tail and trying to blame Toyota finance. Branch people are friendly but helpless to a poorly managed company.

I recommend this bank to ANYONE looking to get an auto loan. I was on the search to find a good bank that would approve me. I am a first time buyer with no loan experience. I was not getting approved at any bank. Until I met Johnny Huynh. He was very very informative, genuine and professional. Since I was going into it blind I didn't know anything. He answered all the questions I had in ways I could actually understand. Not only that, but answered all of my 22 calls. And still kept the same positive attitude. I 100% recommend CUTX and I even more recommend Johnny!

Worst experience I have ever had with a bank, hidden fees, rude customer service. Never go with cutx, you lose money when you do.

CUTX closed a HELOC for me in right at 3 weeks from contact-close including appraisal! That's QUICK! Special thanks to Mitchel Castaneda who was amazing, super friendly, straight forward, and helpful. Cathy Syapp got the processing done quick. Fees were very reasonable. They do charge some weird monthly fees on checking accounts which was a bummer, but the HELOC experience was great. I hope it is a reflection of how banking here will go. Thanks a bunch CUTX!

Stay away from CUTX. Cathy Syyap got us into a loan that was not good for us. We did a equity loan to do some construction on our home. I am not the mortgage expert. I simply told her we wanted to take out some equity. She put us in a HELOC. Our payments went from old mortgage of $2,500 to $3,300, fine. However she did not tell us the $3,300 was interest only and there was not escrow in the Heloc. At closing she was not there to answer questions we had. Just a notary who knew nothing about it. Also online our payment is $3,300 but you can only pay $2,000 at a time. Very disappointed in their operations. Never again.

Very Disappointed with the Lies: - I was told by a salesperson that he was given a special incentive to cover sales taxes due to the overprice of my 2024 GMC truck by the dealership. When asked about the additional charges on my truck contract he would not explain all of the charges. After signing the contract, he revealed it was for sale taxes and he could not remember telling me about the special incentive. - On my online account, the price of the vehicle keeps going up before I made by first payment. Lease payments are supposed to be fixed unless they are late fees. - I was told the vehicle lease was based on a 2.9% interest rate and then told around 4.5% after the deal. Being a member for over 35 years and had leased and purchased several vehicles from the CUOT, I am very disappointed with the lies from a company I have always trusted.

If you're in the area or you're desperate to get the money in today or in a hurry? It's worth the drive. There's never a line at the teller window and there are very few people waiting to have personal appointments with employees for discussing their finances or loans, what have you. But the absolutely magical reasons for remembering this place are the hours. If you've missed your regular location and you can make it to this location before it closes? It does have extended hours. And the tellers are always in a good mood and that's because they've had an easy day because of the location and they're decent people who haven't been working non-stop all day. I don't think I've ever been in line behind somebody when I arrive. This place has been a lifesaver or at least a huge convenience because of its hours. Just when I think that I've missed my opportunity to get a check in? I remember this location and look it up sometimes I have two hours to spare. It's not hard to get to even though it looks like it on the map. You can literally pull into the parking lot off the service road. Mark this one on your map cuz one day you're going to need it. I'm sure you've been in situations where you wish the bank was open later because you just absolutely had to pay something or get something in your account? At times like those traffic and distance don't really matter. You just want to get it done... today. If you can make it? This place is your answer to that problem.

Went in to process a skip a pay payment. The clerk charged my account, gave me a receipt, and did not process it causing my payment to come out anyway. Such a big inconvenience for this time. I'd give zero stars if I could.

If I could give CUTX zero stars I would. My husband and I have been members for over 20 years and since that time, the customer service has gone from bad to zero stars. I recently called about charges on my debit card and was told they were fraud and my card was canceled. I got a call the next day saying the charges were not fraud, that I have to fight the charges myself (even though I did not authorize the charges), and CUTX would not turn my card back on because of the fraud charges (but the charges were not fraud, right?). The bank then issued another card in my husband's name. I've now been without a debit card for almost a month and I was told if I would like a debit card sooner, I can come into the closest branch (I now live 3 hours away). This is the best you have to offer your customers?? I'm tired of calling and asking you guys for help. What a total waste of my time.

My card keeps getting declined but plenty of money in my accounts! Its been happening for months. I basically make all of my payments through paypal now because cutx will decline the payment and send me a text saying they have declined the payment, no resolution. I've called several times and have been told it's fixed... but not even close! Started happening in July 2023. I literally finally got a response from them on the chat through the app. It's literally November 2023!! The bad part is they still didn't even answer the question! They tried to take the same payment like 3 or 4 times. Exhausted my poor little account and then charged me a fee! But I only made 1 payments! Guess what? Still never got a refund for that fee! When I tried to write back, it never sent! How can you trust your money with a place like this?!?

Teller 1607 at Desoto Branch was rude and would not exchange my son $5.00 in change for a bill she said she doesn't have a drawer so she couldn't and coin machine was down she was being lazy and could of went to another teller to exchange it. I had to go to another teller which was Edgar and he was kind and very friendly and helped me exchange my son change that right there is great customer service.

We've been members for 25 years. Recently service has been awful! We had accounts disappear which the CU ultimately fixed. 1 month ago another members account was added to my profile. I could see her first and last name, account number, amount in accounts, and transactions. Branch fixed it after multiple calls and a visit to the location.

Every time I make a payment from my checking account, they take it out 3-4 times in the same day! I've had this happen so many times and they just apologize and refund the extra money but it takes a couple of days! I'm trying to reach a live person right now because the took out a loan payment from my account for $150 four times yesterday. I don't understand what is going on with them. Very disappointed and hate not being able to reach a live person!!!!!!

Terrible customer service. I've been a member for over 10 years with a savings account. I recently opened a checking account, and despite being guaranteed immediate access to Zelle, I was informed about a 60-day waiting period. Now, after more than 60 days, I'm being told I won't have access. The inconsistency in information from your staff is frustrating, and it seems there's a lack of knowledge among them. The frequent turnover also adds to the challenge.
