There is a dangerous disconnect between what the website or app tells me and what the pharmacists tell me. Multiple months my prescription is put "In Process" and I call to confirm. I am then told by the pharmacist that will be ready at the boilerplate time of 14:00. After waiting, the website eventually says "Out of stock" without any notification from the website or the pharmacist. I am then told to check with other CVS pharmacies to see if they have stock. The problem with this is the other CVS pharmacies will not tell me if they have it in stock or not. Yet the website says "If you need your Rx today, contact your pharmacy to find a nearby location with your medication in stock." It is wild how disconnected the pharmacists are from the information being given by CVS and it is also quite dangerous. This will be the fourth time now that I have had to suddenly stop a medication that has explicit instructions not to stop suddenly as serious side effects can occur.CVS has become a baffling unprofessional and dangerous place to get medications from and I highly suggest researching others around your area as they do exist and quite possibly convey information to the customer far better. Do not place your health in the hands of CVS as it is clear they have not even read the very warning labels they plaster on their own medications.

The manager Tracy is rude, I guess because I don't look the part to be shopping in that area I didn't receive a welcoming service

I waited over 2 hours for my prescription to be filled. After personally handing a tech my scripts for 4 prescriptions, and waiting for hours, I was hanged a bag with 4 RX infos sheets, and 4 items inside. I was told it was my 3 medications and abuterol inhaler. After getting home I noticed the inhaler wasn’t an inhaler at all but an attachment and couldn’t use it, nor was it anywhere on my script, they Charged me and rung me up like it was my prescription. After going back today to return the attatchment and pick up my actual inhaler, I was refused any type of explanation as to what happened and your Technician Titilayo eventually ignored me and walked to the back of the pharmacy and your Pharmacist Jesse said that my doctor sent a script with all of it. Little did he know I spoke with my doctor that morning … Face to Face Doctor Young Lee did no prescribe that… I will be following up with the Pharmacies manager as I don’t have $20 to spend on attatchments I don’t need and wasn’t prescribed. If this was a case of them giving me the wrong medication in a bottle, how would one know the difference ? You could seriously injure someone giving them the wrong prescription. I asked and confirmed with my technician the day before my products were in there and was sold a product that wasn’t on my script. How am I supposed to trust any CVS pharmacist or technician now with my prescriptions ? The answer is I cant, and people need to be aware.

This review is about the pharmacy. specifically the older women assistant and the women pharmacists, the younger women is normally very great to work with. The horrible costumer service has been going on for years with these two. Never really cared enough to write a review since i switched to a different CVS, but my mom still has her medicine filled her (this incident has convinced her to switch). I went to go pick up my mother's medicine today, as she is sick, and we got a text that 3 medications were ready for pickup. i go in, only one is ready and the other two won't be ready got another 3 hours. Understandable, but frustrating since I had the expectation that they'd be ready. I asked for the one that was filled and then asked to apply GoodRX, because I knew it would be cheaper. The older assistant was checking me out and when i asked that she was extremely exasperated and aggravated with me. I asked what the issue was and her response was "that's going to take forever we can't do that right now." So i asked her why it would take so long, all she had to do was ring me back up. The pharmacist walks over to be. without trying to understand what was happening or explaining to me further she immediately raised her voice and started saying "we are not doing that right now. we have too many other things to do," basically refusing me service on an already filled prescription. I walk out to the car, my sick mother wondering what happened walks in to see what prescriptions she can get and to figure out what happens. We start to talk to the older assistant and the pharmacist storms over to us and starts screaming "i already told you we aren't filling this! you can come back later" my mother makes the point that even if we do come back later they'd still have to apply the goodrx number, and kindly asks if she could do it now. Then the pharmacist starts screaming at me that my mother needed to check her child's tone of voice and that i needed to be raised more respectfully. I finally told them we would be transferring her prescriptions to a different pharmacy. As we were walking out she goes, "I'll make sure Drs. Name hears about this" (which by the way is completely illegal, unless it is about a prescription). Do not waste your time or money going to this pharmacy unless you enjoyed being abused by employees who work in the costumer service industry.

Plenty of people working behind the pharmacy counter, but they cannot be bothered to look up and pay attention to a customer who has been waiting at the pickup counter for over 5 minutes. Just a few feet away. One time, I was first in line and waited well over 10 minutes for them to look up and step a few feet over to help me. Other potential customers in line behind me got frustrated and left. One man behind me asked if the staff had helped me yet, and when I told him no, Dee looked up and barked that she was busy and would get to me as soon as she could. Horrible customer service. I now go all the way up to Dougherty's.

I like how large this store is and it has a strong selection of products. My main problem is that there are no self-service kiosks. On Sunday mornings it's easier for me to get to this location than the Mockingbird CVS because of church traffic. However the Mockingbird location has 3 self-service kiosks making check-out much easier. At CVS Preston I was behind a customer buying 40-50 items and I was on a time crunch to make a friend's kid's birthday party. A self-service kiosk would have made the experience much better.

8:12 am and no one is at work today at this CVS. Store hours say it opens at 8 am. Pic of store hours and lock still on door. I would select not only another location but a different brand completely. Coming to work is table stakes.
