The pharmacy part of this operation is terrible.I have nothing + or - to say about the retail side of this business, but the pharmacy part is just awful. They have raised ignoring people to an art form. If you want to wait 30 minutes for someone to be rude to you and completely unhelpful (in person or on the phone), you have found the right place.

I’ve been going to this CVS pharmacy for over three years now. Over time, I’ve had multiple unpleasant interactions with the pharmacist (Koleen is her name, I believe), but the most recent interaction was simply unhelpful, condescending and rude. Two weeks ago, I stopped in to CVS to pick up a prescription for a family member. I was informed it was on back order but should be in within 1-2 business days but that if I wanted, the pharmacy tech could see if there was availability anywhere else and have it sent there. At the time, a 1-2 day wait was acceptable so I said it’s okay and figured I’d come back the following week.I went back a week later (last week) and was informed it was still on back order. I was also informed that because of the medication type it could not be transferred. I asked for some help to determine what options I might have since we are new to this medication and that’s when my interactions with the pharmacist began. The tech called her over and she started by essentially interrogating me and asking me who had told me it could be transferred. I didn’t remember the young man’s name so I said I didn’t remember his name as I had been in the drive thru but it was a man. She then very rudely informed me there were only two techs who were men who worked in the pharmacy and they were both working at the time and so which one was it. I lied and said I didn’t know as I didn’t want to cause a scene for the person who had attended me the week prior. From there, she went on to insinuate that I must be lying about what I was told as these two young men clearly knew it couldn’t be transferred. It just got worse from there. I asked her what our options were (brand, strength, delivery, etc.) and for more information (if I was told last week it would be 1-2 days and it’s been a week, what is going on?) so that I could make an informed decision about how to resolve this and get my family member their medicine. She proceeded to give me a bit of a dressing down including telling me the definition of back order while revealing additional pertinent detail that hadn’t been shared earlier (such as that they hadn’t gotten a shipment of this medicine in three weeks.) At this point I started figuring that if they hadn’t gotten a shipment in three weeks, there was a chance that our prescription might not get filled even if they do get a shipment since they must have a line of prescriptions of the same medicine waiting to get filled, so I asked more questions to try to suss out whether I could wait out the shipment or needed to look for an alternate pharmacy with stock, or whether to ask the doctor to switch to a different medicine, etc.It was st this point that she began complaining that it was too hard to do this with customers and that we had to have the doctor call and figure out a solution because having the customer as the middleman was too frustrating and she had been having many of these conversations with customers. I ultimately told her that yes, it was quite clear to me that she was spending a lot of time being frustrated at the conversations she was having to have with customers who were just trying to navigate getting their medicines and I left.I ultimately went home and called multiple pharmacies until I found one that had stock and where the pharmacists didn’t treat me like an idiot. (Walgreens across the street ended up helping me.)This is just the most recent in a long line of condescending and frustrating conversations with this pharmacist. The pharmacy techs are great, the store always has what I need and the staff is friendly, but the pharmacist needs to have a serious conversation with herself about why she chose this profession. If dealing with the public is too challenging for her, it may be time for her to find a new environment in which to practice her profession.CVS: have a talk with your employee about her treatment of your customers. It’s time.

Forced by my company to go to CVS, this location 7979 Beltline is the closes for me. CVS in general has always been 7/10 at best for my experience. Mostly CVS.com, notifications, and IT problems. Now its much lower due to plain customer service and staffing. They do not take walk up despite their advertisements. They want you to schedule an appointment however their availability is non existent because the store never pulls up. Other locations are either out of stock, unavailable, or the appt is after 8pm, Been at 7979 Beltline 3 time in the past 2 weeks and denied 3 times. Twice they are under staff and once it was 5 mins before lunch time. Customer service in getting a shot is a joke. No one else waiting in line for anything. I am the solo person at the counter all 3 times. I wish I could move away from CVS all together. I suspect the customer service is the same way at all locations.

This has got to be one of the worst places to visit. Especially the pharmacy. Understaffed. Employees don't care about you or their job. Long long lines. The window is a pain. Can't hear them. Switched meds to new place not CVS related. Done with them.

Good enough for a quickie stop. I entered the compound and the burglar alarm went off. How could I have stolen any items without taking a quantum leap??? Anyhow, I am not a thief. I don't take anything unless I pay for it or work for it. So, I hate the yellow tag thing. Talk about a waste of worker resources, but the store looks pretty cool and it's near by. CVS should try the clean and uncluttered look; I think of CVS upper brass as being a bunch of hoarders like in those awful TV shows where people get so sick in the head, they can't throw away their garbage. CVS not so bad, get out of the plastic establishment and try nostalgia with some style and class and give the customer a real brake for a change.

After three trips coming to this pharmacy, I've decided not to come back. Pharmacist is always slow and the techs are rude and unhelpful.

I love the new look of this place and that it replaced an eyesore 7-11 / Gas Station that was here before they changed it over to CVS. Now here is what I don't like... This store is not prepared to handle PCR Covid tests as advertised on the CVS website. When I arrived as scheduled they told me they were short staffed and not doing tests currently. So, I had to go back home and reschedule at another store. Could they not have updated me BEFORE I arrived? Anyway, I wound up at another CVS location and had an outstanding experience.
