I came into CVS last night at 9:30 PM and there was a beautiful young lady there who is beyond helpful. At a time when the store closes in 30 minutes and her job is basically done. She took time out of her day to help me find batteries. I wish I would’ve gotten her name because I would love to include that in this review, but she was so kind and so helpful and so sweet that I wanted to make sure to put that review here as well. She also gave me a note as I walked out. They said thank you for being a valued customer like it was like a card. It’s the little things that bless us so much so I wanted to be sure to leave that in a review.

I have never in my life encountered such appalling customer service and complete disregard for basic human decency as I did at the CVS Pharmacy located at 3798 Forest Ln, Dallas, TX. On the night of Wednesday, February 5th, 2025, I came to pick up a prescription that was critically important to me—only to be met with one of the most unpleasant, uncaring, and downright mean-spirited individuals I have ever encountered behind a pharmacy counter.
First off, my prescription wasn't available because of what appeared to be a mistake from the hospital. While I can understand that errors can happen, the way the pharmacy employee (not the actual pharmacist but the lazy girl employee) responded was absolutely unconscionable. She showed no empathy, no willingness to help, and even resorted to mockery when I expressed concern about not having my medication. Her demeanor was so cold and dismissive, it bordered on the psychopathic—there was a chilling lack of basic compassion when I tried to get more information or at least understand the issue.
For someone entrusted with handling vital prescriptions and interacting with customers who may already be distressed or in pain, her attitude was shockingly heartless. It was as though my situation was a source of amusement, and she made zero effort to provide solutions, guidance, or any semblance of understanding. Seeing an employee in a healthcare setting behave like this is not only unprofessional, it is downright alarming.
Moreover, the rest of the staff did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation or address this atrocious behavior, which points to a glaring lack of oversight and training at this CVS location. If the pharmacist herself allows or condones such treatment of patients in need, I can only imagine how often this happens when no one is looking.
Shame on CVS for putting someone so blatantly indifferent and cruel in a position of responsibility, and for failing to hold their employees to even the most minimal standards of compassion and respect. And shame on the employee for her heartless response and apparent glee in a situation that should have been handled with care.
I strongly urge anyone considering this pharmacy to think twice before trusting them with something as important as your prescriptions. My experience here was a complete nightmare, and it leaves me with serious concerns about the culture, training, and oversight at CVS Pharmacy 3798 Forest Ln. I can only hope management takes immediate steps to rectify this toxic environment, because no one should ever have to go through such an ordeal again.
Update:
I have officially reported the unacceptable behavior I experienced at the CVS pharmacy on Forest Lane to the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for patient needs cannot go unchecked. In addition, I will be following up with CVS corporate to ensure that appropriate measures are taken. No one should have to deal with such cruel and careless treatment, especially when it comes to something as important as filling a prescription.

By far the worst experience I have ever had to try to pick up a prescription. I would drive to Oklahoma to pick up a prescription before going to this location again. Probably would have been quicker too. I have been waiting for over 3 hours and I still don’t have it. First experience here, and will for sure be my last.

Very disappointed in this pharmacy. I got there at 7:40 last night to pick up my prescription, which I really need because I’m currently out. I waited 25 minutes because the car in front of me was taking a while. I finally get to the window at 8:05, for them to automatically tell me in a very rude way that they can’t get my medication. I told them that I waited 25 minutes and it’s not my fault, they proceed to tell me that their machines aren’t working. This is simply UNACCEPTABLE. This cannot be happening in a pharmacy where some peoples livelihood depend on their medication. They told me to come back tomorrow like it’s that easy in a dismissive tone. I wasted 25 minutes of my time for this bs. It’s bad enough that their pharmacy hours are absolutely terrible and open at 10 AM and close at 8. I work early at 8 AM almost everyday far away from the pharmacy so I don’t have the luxury of “just getting it tomorrow” before work. Now I will be forced to go tomorrow without my medication when I absolutely need it. Do better CVS, I’m switching pharmacies.

When you have an appointment for a vaccine, they need to honor it, not ask you to wait 30 minutes because someone ahead of you was late and they had some walk ins. Good customer service is lacking at this location.

I was just in my neighborhood CVS after going to 3 others to take my babies passport photo. I had terrible customer service and no one was willing to take her photo.
The worst experience came from this location. I walked in with my 5 month old and was told they don’t take baby photos because it takes too long. Then called to speak to a manager to confirm as I need the photo taken. She then responded with the same answer and they don’t have the equipment. What equipment? A screen and camera is all that’s needed. They just don’t want to do it.
This not only an inconvenience but also terrible customer service on a service you claim to offer

Five stars for pharmacy manager Deena and her staff who went the extra mile to help me with three prescriptions that had to be backed out and reprocessed several times. Zero stars for front-end manager Mike who had NO interest in providing customer service when I asked for help with a missed coupon. He let me walk away when he easily could have refunded my money and rung up my purchase again with my coupon. The pharmacy team was happy to do the transaction for me that Mike wouldn’t.

If I could give this location a zero I would trust me. The pharmacy is the rudest that I have ever saw in my life. I went to pick up my prescription and normally they would ask me for last name and date of birth. No this time they wanted my whole name, date of birth, address and phone number. I was like why are you asking these questions for. You have never done that before. The so-called supervisor said that it was policy. Who policy? Hers. I am a pharmacy technician and what she did is illegal. You better believe that I called the Pharmacy Board and reported this to them. This location is the worst.
