DAMPA has been great for my children. Their teachers (and the other teachers) are always very friendly and encouraging. They are helpful and flexible with regards to scheduling. My older son has stuck with piano for 6 years and my younger son for
1.5. They enjoy the lessons. They are given multiple chances to perform each year via recitals and showcases with local venues. I highly recommend.

My partner and I decided to try piano lessons at age 26, and we’ve had a blast with Raymond! We’ve been at DAMPA a little over a year and have loved it.

My daughter loves DAMPA voice lessons! She has had 2 different instructors over the years and they have both been great. She looks forward to going each week, and I enjoy hearing her practice between her lessons. I appreciate that DAMPA has encouraged her love of music and kept her actively seeking to improve her skills.

For the past several months, I have taken vocal lessons from Paul and guitar lessons from David. Both teachers have been amazing to work with. Not only have my skills improved but my knowledge of music as grown tremendously. I would talk to someone at the school if you are considering lessons!

No recommend at all. Not organized. I did sign up the class for my baby girl and I have scheduled to come in her class. When I got there and the teacher was said she dis not her has my baby class that day. So I went there of nothing. That is really mess up. Time is so important nowadays and when you take time to take your baby go class and when you show up, they said they can teach my baby one hour later. Not good place to recommend at all. If you sign up and just bring headache to you. Now I have to deal how to cancel and get refund. Really headache and wasting time. You should find somewhere else better than this one.

Dallas Academy of Music and Performing Arts (DAMPA) is a music school for children and adults who wish to learn or improve their instrumental and/or vocal abilities. The program is run by Todd Griffith, an accomplished musician himself with a degree from the prestigious Berklee College of Music. In addition to being a talented drummer, Todd is an amazing administrator who possesses that unique combination of creativity, business acumen and people skills. The facility itself is modern and cool with wood accents and a super positive vibe. There's a waiting area with comfy couches and chairs and free WiFi while you wait. There's no games here. DAMPA offers fair and honest pricing and an incredibly high level of quality instruction. Teachers are positive and inspiring and DAMPA offers a ladder system of achievement that provides kids with rewards for achieving their goals. If you live anywhere from Preston Hollow to Highland Park or anywhere in between, you really need to get your kid (or yourself) to DAMPA for music lessons!

All staff, instructors and front desk associates at the Dallas Academy of Music and Performing Arts are SO nice, friendly, upbeat and happy! The environment is fresh, fun, stylish, positive and great energy. My four year old son really connects with his instructor Lexie! My son is learning so much and growing musically. He really enjoys the music lessons. I like how they introduce a variety of instruments, including singing during the classes. I am also like how my son's instructor gives feedback after each lesson. We are beyond pleased. We love this place!
