I lived in Dallas for many years and never went to see this place. After having moved and returned for a business conference, I finally decided to check it out. Very informative, I'll let you draw your own conclusions to the conspiracy theories.

. You pay to wait in line. Not even kidding wait inline to read and see absolutely everything in the museum. Heaven forbid you move, staff will yell at you. Don't think about letting your kid walk outside the stroller. (She was calm right next to me) told I better keep her close, it's to busy for her. It's hot everyone sweating. Absolutely horrible experience. Only good is the lady we bought our tickets from was an absolute delight. Parking guy had an awesome sense of humor.

I wish they offered more actual items from the moment. There are some really cool items there, though. My favorite is the fedora worn by Jack Ruby when he shot Oswald. I dislike that more isn't offered about the obvious fact that there was more than one shooter. There is a gift shop in the first floor. The museum 'tour' is not guided. You'll show up and they'll scan your tickets and then put you in an elevator that goes to the sixth floor and turn you loose to wander amongst the various displays. It's pretty much everything you've seen online but in one place.

Was very interesting, but very crowded 11am. The staff was efficient in getting the correct number of people cued up so that the ride to the evaluator would go smoothly. There is a lot of reading involved FYI. This made our visit very slow. The iconic window is surreal. As may times you have seen it in film and pictures but to stand right there and look out the window to see the x on the road.Very somber. The poorly desigened flow and repeating of facts made it kinda not what I expected. I was a little underwhelmed. The last thing that didn't seem to set well for we was three times a staff member was walking around with a clicker counting the number of people that were on the 6th floor. Not that I don't appreciate them trying to keep the crowd managed but, the sound of the clicker was akin to a nervous person with a clicker pen. Just saying just a little thing but, it will be one thing I take away a memory from visit...

After reading as many books and articles in my lifetime on that historical day, I find that this museum is feeding so many lies about what truly happened in that day! Children today if they should visit this museum are being fed a false narrative of history! Hopefully ALL information will be released to the public sooner rather than later as it is way past time for the public to actually see what really happened and who really was involved! Oswald was NOT a lone actor as this museum alleges!

Worth the $18.00.All the shots were less than 100 yards from a rested position. After looking at it, I think most deer hunters could have done it and a person with good sight alignment and trigger skills,it is almost easy. And there is so much evidence against Oswald. But believe what you want.Worth looking at this historical location.Glad I went.

Tons of information about a horrific day in our history. Not a lot of hands or interactive displays. Lots of reading and pictures of the event with some artifacts. Littles wouldn’t like it but older children would be able comprehend the information. Staff was helpful.

For the small space that it's located in, there is A LOT of information to take in. Some I haven't ever seen before. I loved learning about all of this & seeing things from a 1st hand point of view.

Basically this is paying to see 'the window'where Lee Harvey Oswald supposedly shot JFK. Other than that, and apart from Oswald's wedding ring, there are no artifacts or objects to show. Just a lot of reading. And let's be honest,we have all read up on the JFK assassination. So unless you really want to see 'the window', I'd save 18 bucks and give this a miss. Then there is the farce of getting in. On arrival, we were told to buy tickets online. When I told the lady I was from the UK,and couldn't access the internet,I had to wait until told I could go to the desk to physically buy tickets. Then I had to go outside to wait until the tour started. Then we had to queue inside. Then, 2 by 2, go to a woman behind s desk, who scanned the tickets, then flag us to an elevator. Why not just let the queue file past getting tickets scanned? This just make the wait even longer and totally pointless exercise

They could definitely expand it more, it is very small. But they don't shy away from the many theories of the assassination, which is good. You can't stand directly at the sixth floor window in question, but you can stand right above that position on the seventh floor.

The lack of a guide or intro film strange for this type of museum. Hard to recreate the scene, social mood at the time and the implications. That is something they tried to capture but not in a way to connect to a younger audience. The conspiracy theory may be the only thing to keep them interested at this point. Clean modern displays but need a refresh in attitude and direction. Surprised how busy it was considering the aging out of their audience at this point. Needs new vision to remain relevant in the future. Very light on interactive displays and no real must see like the rifle in the collection. The Zaputrer film is in stills.. This if you have extra time visit- not a must see. The most innovative thing was the Fragments exhibition on the 7th floor but even that was light on centent.

Since I was only interested in seeing the window \\u0026 how far it was from the street, I didn't really pay much attention to the rest. I've already seen most of the documentaries on this subject.
