This company will renew without consent. They will give you a charge and a year latter the same charge when you already pay. Worst company ever. Scammers!

DirecTV sucks. I'm about to dump them because of the never ending 10% price increases. The quality of the programming hasn't improved by 10%. Nothing about this service is worth the money. I'll do without rather than put up with these vultures.

I have had Direct TV and a Asurion Home Protection Plan since 2008 which covers television and electronicequipment.Recently I had a unit breakdown and was asked to pay $50.00 to have the unit checked out and also have it sent to a designated place.Asurion is the company that handles claims for Direct TV.Asurion indicated that the unit could not be repaired, and they were willing to pay me $1,000.00 and then raised it to $1,400.00.I asked Asurion "why don't you have your third party vendors find one that has been repaired/refurbished and send it to me". Their response was our 2 vendors cannot locate the unit.I then gave the Asurion representative the name, telephone # and address of the manufacturer, California Audio Tech (CAT) and asked them to obtain a unit from them. They refused to do that and said they will only work with their 2 vendors and if those vendors can't locate the part/unit, they won't go any further.I indicated to Asurion that we should then proceed to litigation. They said my recourse is arbitration and gave me the address of their Attorney's so I could write a letter asking for arbitration, which I have done three times with no response.I called Asurion to check on the status of my letters (which I know were delivered and signed for because I used both USPS Priority mail (signature required) and certified mail).I asked the rep who answered the call at Asurion for the phone number, fax number or email address to the legal department so I could follow up directly on my demand for arbitration. She said that there is NO phone number, email address or fax number to provide.I have not heard from any Attorney representing Asurion or Direct TV to date and my first letter was written in June of this year.Disappointing and frustrating to a long time loyal consumer!

We canceled our DTV on 3/29/21. Not only did they bill us past the cancelation but they still haven’t refunded us the money they say they owe us and have sent us a statement every month stating they owe us money. They refuse to send the refund. We have called several times and now have enlisted our business attorney to get our money back.It’s beyond me with so many free TV options why anyone would deal with this crooked company.
