Worst experience ever. The store manager would not allow me to purchase the products I had collected before the store was set to close. I still had 5 minutes before official store closing time and was in the store for approximately 15 minutes. He refused to allow me checkout even though the store was technically still in operation. Additionally he passed by me multiple times in the store and did not inform me of the closing time or make any mention that I could potentially be denied my purchase. Cannot explain how terrible of customer service and bad overall customer experience this way. Additionally he proceeded to follow and lock the door while make personal comments and insults. Terrible terrible terrible. Will never shop here again. Corporate please assess accordingly.

On Friday 12/8/23 I bought icy hot and wireless headphones because my sister needed some, she tried them out and she told me the next that they didn’t work I didn’t have time to go back until today 12/11/23 I had my receipt and everything the black guy with dreads and glasses supposedly the manager asked me for my ID and asked if I had my debit card with me and I told him no because I paid with Apple Pay when I bought the headphones and I even showed him on my phone that I paid with Apple Pay and kept saying I still needed my card WHICH YOU DONT, I work in retail and I’m a manager myself and you don’t need your card physically with you if you pay with Apple Pay… the dude just doesn’t want to do his job if he don’t like it then he shouldn’t be working at all that simple rude as hell talking about wasting his his time and he has stuff to do, he acts like he is working but he don’t be nothing

African American man in the dreadsWorking today 10/08/2023 @ closing… is EXTREMELY rude. He told my parents to get out of the store because my dad simply helped pick up a bag of dog food that was all over the floor ( in the way) he responded (instead of thank you sir) he said “SIR THAT WAS ON THE FLOOR FOR A REASON!” So my sister asked him for his name to which he responded he doesn’t have to give a name and to “ get out of my store”First of all that IS NOT YOUR STORE! You’re not even the manager. He’s claiming he is the manager and I know he in fact is not. Corporate please contact me.This is not the first time he has been rude to us and to people in general.. Dollar general please watch your comments, they’re all about this dude! Why would you lose customers because of him?!My dad did NOTHING WRONG and he has banned him from the store is RIDICULOUS…? Seriously corporate contact me because this is wrong is so many levels.

This place have no good customer service. Cashier are hiding and having bad attitude they won't talk to customers at all. So I totally don't recommend this dollar store

The employee that is tall, skinny, black guy, with dreads, and is mentally confused is very unprofessional and acts like a child. On top of that the manager just stood by and didn't do anything about it. Both should be terminated.

Worst dollar general. Dont come to this location. Ive been here plenty of times and all the workers are rude. One of the cashiers checked out my item which was $1.08. I gave him $1.10 waiting for my changed but he just assumed i didnt want it so he closed the register. Then i stood there so he tried to give me a nickle that was just laying there. I left without taking it. Its not about the 2 pennies, its about customer service. If you dont want to work there, find another job. Simple as that. If i could give 0 stars i would.

Where do i start with this Establishment? I go in late one evening, maybe 30 min til close. i asked the cashier do any shopping carts. They looked at me as if i was crazy, so i grabbed a bag and proceeded to shop. I do my shopping and get to the register, and pay for my things and the machine spits me out half of a receipt because of NO PAPER and i politely ask the Cashier for a full receipt and she says that they do no redo receipts (I don't work there so im unaware of that) so during this time of me asking this, so person as i know now is named DEANDRE MICHAELS (night manager) i guess comes and say we do reprint receipt and i ask what am i suppose to do with this? i told him i shop here a lot and i just want a receipt or something and the Deandre tells me "well you dont ave to shop here?" i stop and thinking like huh? wait i can shop where i want (and i lost it) words cant explain the Disgust of they way this person treated me... Typing does it no justice. I went off!! So long story short i came back to the establishment be cause they never answer the phone there.Update!! i went in to ask for the persons name that i had the words with and the lady said "why do u want his name?" again APPALLED!! Because i need it for a complaint ma'am and she told me they dont give out name at General Dollar for safety reason. (names are on badges) (Wow) She said well the store manager is here so i was like great! (Saying to myself "i wont have to cal corporate because i can just let the manager know what happened") HA! i thought i was being PUNK'D Out comes the store manager looking like she just woke up.and also i had just pasted by that didn't even greet me. i proceeded to tell her the situation and of course she tried to justify the receipt part. Ok im not tripping about the receipt at this point, Its they way this person handled the whole situation and the way he talked to a customer. So in her aggression i just told her i will follow up with corporate and at that point, the woman VANETTA said "i dont know what u are talking to me for?" AGAIN WOOOOOW ..... i said because this is your the store!!! All in all Please beware of the UNPROFESSIONAL STORE let alone the atmosphere and ATTITUDE of the workers here. This place is trash and the tall black slender guy with dreads is the most unprofessional/filthy individual I have ever met. I went in to pick up a grocery order for a lady on door dash and couldn’t find a buggy. When I finally found one to put some of the items in this guy came and found me and asked me where I got the buggy from and he informed me that they don’t provide buggy’s for customers. When I asked how I was suppose to shop his reply was just like everyone else. People were standing at the register with their arms full and some items stacked on the floor beside them. I’ve never heard of anything like this before and there were clearly buggies that they had removed from the floor and put up by the registers in this small hallway and you could see a room to the right where buggies were stuffed in that room. The guy proceeded to take my buggy with the lady’s groceries away from me and told me in his rude snarky voice to have a good day. I messaged the customer to let them know what had happened and called and reported them. I’ve never experienced anything like this before in my life. It’s a sad world we live in today. Never been to this location before and wouldn’t have been here had it not been for a customer and would never go back. The customer was just as shocked as I was!

On 11/20/22 At the store to pick up a few items but they had no carts to carry my items the employees stood and didn’t accommodate me and was rude and unprofessional this store is going to lose money because of the people they hires and that’s not working up to standard to accommodate the customers

I made a purchase online and when I went to pick it up the store didn't have an item so I asked the manager if I could replace it with another scent he said he couldn't do it I told him it wasn't my fault if the product I bought didn't they had and that if he removed it from my order the amount I would have to pay would be higher because the corresponding coupons would not be applied he said that he was not going to do it and that if he wanted me to speak to the corporation I asked for his name and number the store, which he refused to do, I asked him why and he told me that he did not have to give me his name and that the number of the store was on the receipt that I should look for it there, he was very rude and arrogant..
