I am very happy with the care that was given me by the young technician who helped reevaluate my vision during the exam.Also, Dr. Fitzpatrick's care to assess my vision was excellent!! I am so appreciative of their time and care to help me get the best care for my eyes.

I felt cared for and staff had a good pace regarding the flow of what needed to be done. Dr Swanson, as usual, made sure I was getting the best care possible. I live 28 miles away from her office but I can definitely trust my eye care to “Fagadau, Hawk and Swanson eye physicians and surgeons” professionals. Thank you!

The doctors and staff here are amazing. My mother and sister told me about Dr Swanson several years ago and I’ve been coming ever since. She takes care of my dry eyes. Today I saw Dr Fitzpatrick for contacts and he was very patient and made certain I got the right fit and prescription I needed.

The Nurse Technician that showed our daughter how to apply her contacts was fantastic. Her patience and knack for relating to a teenager was a game changer. Had been to two places prior. She did a FANTASTIC job and we are so happy.

Staff was new and not trained in procedures. Extremely long wait. Visit took 4 1/2 hours. Dr Swanson gave me confidence and helped relieve my symptoms immediately.

I have been going to this practice for a few years now. Recently, and literally overnight, I woke up and could no longer read close up with my right eye. I had double vision and shadows around the letters. I had an appointment scheduled for three weeks later but thought it was a good idea I call the office to see if I could get an earlier appointment since I was worried something was happening to my eye. That phone call would be what ended my relationship with this practice. The "tech" was clearly not paying attention. I had to repeat myself several times and she was suggesting things that didn't make sense based on what I shared with her. There was ZERO sense of urgency, concern, or empathy for my situation. She just needed to get to her job and off of the phone. So, I immediately searched out another ophthalmologist who was able to see me the next day and whose service and quality of care for the patient was top-notch. I was in and out of there in one hour unlike my visits to this practice. When I called to cancel my upcoming appointment, the employee who took my call was very kind. She did not want to see me go and offered to let me speak to the Office Manager. I initially refused as I didn't want to tell the entire story again but then I said okay. After a brief hold, she came back to the line and said the Office Manager was not available but would call me back. Well...that never happened which really summarized the entire story for me...like they say..."it" starts at the top. If the OM is not even going to care, why would the staff? Unfortunately, most doctors don't know what is going on within their practice. They depend on others to run it and are oblivious to the lack of customer care or service. In all fairness to Dr. Swanson and Steve...they were both very kind and great at what they do but you have to get passed the others to see them and that's where the problem lies.

I was in need of a new ophthalmologist after mine of many years retired. I am so happy I chose this practice. Claire Shaw did a great job of taking care of my contact lens need and addressed my dry eyes. She was professional, caring and pleasant. I’ve found a new “home” for my eye care!

Great experience from start to finish. Each part of the exam (which i had a complete eye exam) was handled smoothly and professionally. Great communication throughout the process and Dr. Susan Swanson did a great job walking me through everything at the end.

Excellent service from the entire team from front desk until checkout. Highly recommended. But bring a sweater because it can be chilly in the waiting area for some older folks.

I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately, they just can't seem to come up with an efficient system to manage appointments. You arrive here for what is supposed to be a 15-20 minute appointment and it takes over an hour for the doctor to even see you. Currently sitting here waiting to be seen by the doctor and I've been here for exactly one hour at this point. This is completely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time and other commitments. And this has happened several times when I've come here. My longest wait time was 2.5 hours just to be seen by the doctor. The doctor herself seems knowledgeable and very educated but the lack of respect for time commitments and appointments is just unacceptable. I really encourage this office to work on improving their wait time.Update 7/31/23 - I appreciate the response received but I'm here again and it's been an hour and 15 minutes and still no doctor. This appears to be indicative of a bigger issue with time management and not just a system issue or the training of new personnel.

I am now still sitting in the waiting room with my 92 year old father for THREE HOURS. Before we came today he told me last time he was here we waited 3 hours as well. This is truly unacceptable service for anyplace let alone a medical facility. No water. No updates. No time management. No apologies. I am truly appalled and my father deserves better as do so many other patients who are sitting and waiting for extended periods.I will update that Dr Swanson was very kind and apologetic. Everyone has tough days and staffing problems. Nevertheless 3.5 hours is too long for anyone whether you’re 92 or 29 and taking time off work to make an appointment.
