We had a phrase engraved into a red oak board with a router. We specifically did not want it done with a laser. It turned out great. FastSigns was great to work with in the design and then routing that into the wood.

Extremely dissatisfied with this location. We contracted them to repair our outdoor sign. They charged $270 to conduct a “survey”. They then sent me an invoice for $300 to get it working. Invoice just stated “misc services”. I thought it was suspicious that it was exactly $300 without any description for parts/labor or tax but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and paid the invoice. The electrician who repaired the sign notified one of my employees that the sign was now working and had them look at it. The next morning, I drove by and noticed only half the sign was working. I called Fast Signs and they said they only replaced the right power supply and that the left power supply probably needs to be replaced as well. I told them nobody told me what was replaced and not replaced or anything about the work that was done. I just wanted the sign working. I felt this was very suspicious and potentially dishonest.I finally relented and said go ahead and replace the other power supply. They then informed me they had to charge another “survey” fee in addition to the power supply on the left side. I stated the electrician just conducted a survey so why do I have to get another “survey” done, especially since the sign did not work for even 24 hours. I escalated my concerns to one of the owners, Hakim, who reaffirmed that they charge $270 for the survey every time they dispatch an electrician. I even said what happens if the signs stops working again next week. He stated they would charge $270 for the survey again.I asked for the invoice to specify exactly what work was going to be performed. The invoice, once again, just said “misc services". I had to ask them again to put a full description of what work was being performed. They ended up charging me $325 for the survey and to replace the other power supply. I spoke with Hakim and said if you already know the left power supply needs to be replaced why are you charging me for the survey again. Hakim stated he is not 100% sure but they needed to conduct the survey just in case. I asked him to make sure the electrician notified me when he was in route to my location so I could speak with him and verify the work was performed to my satisfaction. Hakim committed he would do this. I never received a call when the electrician was in route or after the work was done. The electrician, once again, grabbed one of my employees to approve the work. This time, my employee called me so I could speak with the electrician. It was clear he was instructed by Fast Signs to replace the left power supply and was astonished Fast Signs charged another survey fee.The entire interaction with this location was suspicious and communicating with them was challenging. I told Hakim several times that I was extremely unhappy and gave him several opportunities to “do the right thing” and “make this right”. Hakim and this Fast Signs location failed.
