dont plan on waiting at the firestone for your car. they take forever here. doesn’t matter what you are doing. it will always take 3+ hours to do anything. whatever time they tell you it’ll be ready, add an hour and a half to it. i’ve been coming here for some months now i’m definitely not coming back here anymore. i dread it every time

Hard to put into words how bad of an operation this place is.
I’ve been going here for a couple of years because it’s convenient. I’ve never been wowed by the service but it’s been good enough. That all changed today.
I dropped my truck off at 7:45 for a routine oil change and inspection. I was also getting new tires. They said it would be done by noon. Noon came and went - no call. I called and they said 5. Same thing happened at 5. I called and they said would be ready before 6. Same thing. I called at 5:50 and they said it was ready (they close at 6 by the way). Once I got there, they tried to send me off without proof of my inspection because “you don’t need that anymore.” I said I wanted it for personal records. This is where it gets bad. After looking around for a while, the bad employee who was helping me told me that my car was not inspected due to an issue with the machine. I immediately balked and asked if they were planning on telling me that since he almost sent me on my way without mentioning any sort of issue. What ensued was an incredibly frustrating conversation where I accused them of lying and they denied it.
In short, this location of Firestone is dishonest, full of poor communicators, and not reliable. I will NEVER go back.

I was told up front that they were short handed and were behind but i didn’t expect them to take 4 hrs. to fix a flat. Could not fix the flat so i had to buy a new tire. No problem with that but they scrstched up the rim pretty badly.

Scheduled an oil change. Took over two hours after the appointment to be addressed.
Going based off the explanation of their front desk:
Their mechanics are untrustworthy, unskilled, and they require constant supervision. You will eventually be seen 🤷♂️

The guys at the front desk were nice enough & this review doesn't have to do with their work but the NASTY, FILTHY, restroom!!!! It was SO disgusting & a horrible reflection on the Firestone company!! If the employees can't & obviously don't clean it- then hire someone who can!

Over the past six months, the service quality at this Firestone has significantly declined. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and requested several other services, but they only managed to complete the oil change. When I asked for the front brake pads to be replaced, they insisted that the rotors also needed replacement, which is incorrect. Proper maintenance of brake pads can prevent rotor damage. Additionally, I specifically asked them to check the driver’s side CV axle and control arm, as I had noticed issues. They found nothing wrong, likely because they didn’t thoroughly check due to the cold weather. I had to inspect it myself at home and confirmed the CV axle and control arm were indeed damaged. This experience has been extremely disappointing.

I’m beyond livid!! I came in at 8:30 am to get my AC checked and it’s just now being worked on at 2 pm! They aren’t even busy! The AC wasn't even fixed and I had to go to a second car place. Horrible service. The only positive was the male receptionist! Never again!

I use to come to this Firestone all the time. For years to be exact. My last service here I received an oil changed and noticed when I got home the panel to cover underneath my car was missing. When I called I can’t remember the young ladies name, tried to tell me “it could have flew off in transit to my home” . Like how would I miss hearing or seeing a whole panel “flying off” from underneath my car. I KNOW they removed it being lazy and it was never rectified or replaced. Ol girl was rude and not helpful one bit. This place has gone down hill since Don left. Slow service, staff is ALWAYS changing, even if you have an appointment you’re looking at a 3 hour wait for a basic oil change. You’ll be lucky if any of the techs show up on time, nonetheless SHOW UP. It’s just always something. I miss Don. He was very helpful, informative and always went above and beyond. Part of the reason I kept coming back, on top of this being the closest fire stone to me. Now I take my services across town where I my business is appreciated and know I will receive quality work from REAL professionals.

If I could give less I would. These guys wasted my entire day. My car was left at a closed shop, and I needed two tires changed before I left town the next day. I asked if they could do it, they said yes, and gave me a quote. I call a tow truck, dropped it off and they said 2 hours. I call them to check in and they said they were having trouble listing it, do you mind if we scratch your rims… I said interesting, but do what you need, I’m leaving town for work and NEED this done today. He said amazing, we should be done around 2. I call at 2:05 and he says they can’t lift the car (do you not have a jack) so he suggests another location, I said do they have the proper equipment, so he calls them, they don’t answer. I call pep boys, they say bring it over, same tow driver from before comes over, and says screw them both, I’m taking you to my friends shop. They changed it in less than 5 minutes and cheaper. Everyone go to Kings Tire Shop on Skillman. Don’t even bother coming to this Firestone. Absolutely insane, that they can’t “lift” my car and it just sat there for hours.

I had appointment for 10 am on Monday morning. Dropped my car off early for a new battery installation. Called later and was told it would be ready at 130 pm. Was dropped off around 130. My car was still parked where I left it. The service person let me know that they had been really busy and I reminded him that all he needed to do was install the new battery. He took care of it within 30 minutes. I get that they were backed up, but maybe they should have someone designated to do the quick turnaround stuff. Service person, Alex, was excellent at getting the job done.

I don't feel your business practices the founder's philosophy poster hanging on the wall inside your shop. You are highly, highly overpriced on your services, parts and labor. I'm not just comparing you to the "cheapest" shops out there. I'm comparing you to trusted, highly rated, fair to slightly high priced shops. I have taken two vehicles to your shop within the past 4 months. As a result, I will not frequent any Firestone location again.

Stopped by to get my tires inflated to 35 psi they were a couple of pounds low. The rep inflated them to 42 psi as was displayed on my tire monitoring system in the dashboard. He told me his gauge read 35. I drove a couple of miles and checked my tires with my manual gauge when I got home. Sure enough they had been inflated to 42 psi. I had to deflate all four tires 7 psi using my manual tire gauge. He was either lieing to me or his tire gauge is not working properly or he can't read a tire gauge. I should have made him remove the excessive air before leaving. NEXT TIME I WILL IF I EVER RETURN!

The main issue is always the wait time when I have an appointment. It was 1 1/2 hours after my appointment time when they finally started work on my vehicle. The work only took an hour which is great, but the sitting around is nuts. There's no point in having an appointment system if the times can't be close. 30 min. max. would be acceptable.

Went to take my vehicle in for an alignment and was told the day before I was not needed an appointment. When arriving a woman named Maegan stated I needed an appointment, which was the same woman I had spoken to the day before. Now keep in mind I had arrived at 7:15 am. I would have taken my second vehicle as a back up and left my first vehicle. I live 30 minutes away from this location. Meagan started raising her voice at the top of her voice which is very unprofessional. This isn’t the first time she has spoken to me in that manner. I turned to my wife having a conversation with her and said let’s go this B lied and no is saying I am having to leave my vehicle. She then yelled what did you call me ? First of all I was having a conversation with my wife not calling anyone anything. She yelled and said never come back to my store. You’re never allowed back in my store !!!!! Your store really ????? There isn’t even a manger at this location since Ben at this location since Ben left two months ago. He was awesome!!!!! Keep in mind two weeks ago I had just spent almost $600 on my car and that’s why I was bringing it back in.
