Despite what everybody says I bank here because it’s convenient and they are always open. Yeah the customer service is pretty bad and when you call in they are very unprofessional. I still gave them 3 stars.

I usually go to the First Convience Bank inside of Kroger off Cedar Springs where customer service is amazing. I was in a rush and decided to stop at this specific Bank inside of Walmart on Lyndon B Johnson. The worst decision I have ever made. The assistant manager, someone you would think has been trained on proper customer was horrible. Maria Lourdes Guajardo has made me no longer want to be a member of first convience. She was rude, unprofessional and just plain out nasty. I had questions about my account and I guess I was frustrating her so she completely shut down, would not help me and basically told me it was nothing she could do. I left with no resolution to my issue. Thanks Maria for providing the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a bank. First Convience has got to do better.

This places opens at 9am online and when we got here the employee is making us wait 45 minutes for them to open at 10am why would you advertise 9am but open at 10am

I have VIP status and today I was made to feel like pariah! I went in to add my husband to my account. A very simple process. The branch manager was helping us but it didn't get done. She had friends show up at the window so she said she was having system issues got up and never came back. My husband who is from Brazil and only in the country now a few months asked if it was because we are a gay couple or because we are a mixed race couple and I could not give him an answer. What I do know is I felt like dirt like I had been treated with the worst homophobia and racism I have ever witnessed. I don't know what her motivation was but it cost them my business. If there was a problem as the manager she should have explained the issue and let us be on our way. But instead she chose to ignore us and waste our time. VIP I don't think so and when I spoke to a manager on the phone they couldn't care less. This is 2019 there is no room for racism or homophobia in this world. It says how really unimportant my business is to 1st Convenience/ 1st National Bank. This is not the first time I have had problems but it will be the last. If you feel everyone should be treated equally and with respect then you need not bother with this bank!
