Are you craving fish, or seafood?? Well this is the perfect spot for you, if your are. The fish fish will satisfy all of your seafood cavings. The fish was cooked and seasoned to a great perfection, the hush puppies made the meal even better. Only complaint is you only get 2 ?. The theme here is incredible, with all of the fish and photos on the walls. I honestly didn’t expect this little restaurant to reel me in, but it is definitely the best fish spot in the downtown area.

Food was great. Fried catfish, lobster stew, the burgers, grilled snapper were all fresh, hot and delicious.

I tried gumbo and grilled trout. Trout was awesome but gumbo wasn’t upto the mark. You know how gumbo should taste when you are from Lousiana!

A great family friendly restaurant for lunch or dinner. The decorations here are a nice touch and seeing people sharing their photo of the fishes they catch is wholesome. The service here is quick and fast when I came in here for lunch. The fried shrimp and fried catfish that I got tasted all right. The fried shrimp tasted better than the fried catfish for sure. There are definitely better places to get fried catfish than here.

The food was very good. However, my review speaks to staff. The cashier, a man, and another employee, a woman. were having a heated argument right in front of me and my daughter as we were ordering the food. It was so inappropriate. I got the feeling that we were interrupting something. I felt like suggesting: “when you are finished with your issues, we will order.” Then they want a tip?? What for? I order at the counter. Pick up at the counter, fill my own drink, etc.

Lived the setup of the restaurant, the food not so much. I'm an avid seafood eater, and this missed the mark. Ordered the catfish and shrimp platter with fries. Everything was overcooked and

A pleasant surprise! Fresh and hot (and usually fried), hearty servings of Southern fish dishes. Eclectic, fish shack decor. Convenient to several hotels. Popular with groups, but doesn't slow it down. Fun ?Kid-friendliness: Kids' menu covered it, good value and fun coloring.

It was really good. But, it's pricey for the amount of catfish you get.

Grilled fish and vegetables were terrible, and they had a funny smell. I think they need to clean their grill before grilling any food.

The Flying Fish was a nice, cozy, and very decorative seafood restaurant. I enjoyed the music and going around reading the variety of decorations, pictures, and signs throughout the restaurant. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The menu offered a variety of delicious dishes. If you are looking for a variety of seafood, this is definitely the place. Flying Fish is a wonderful spot to relax, enjoy great food, and receive GREAT service.

Food was amazing. We’ve been coming to UT Southwest for 12 years for doctor appointments. This is the first time we’ve eaten here. Tayl and Crystal, that took our order were so helpful. We definitely be back. We ate there at the restaurant. Cool place to sit and enjoy a meal.I wished I’d taken a picture of the food and restaurant.Parking: We went fan early dinner about 5 and had no problem with the parking.
