Opened a account here 1 month ago. I own my own sprinkler company and a racist lady named Alphia Washington called and said because I had 6 zelle transactions in 1 month she wasnt comfortable with having me as a client. So they closed my account and didnt say anything to me.

We went to this location to open an account, based on the Yelp reviews and were expecting to write a glowing review. What should have been a 15 minute transaction took an hour and turned out to be an uncomfortable frustrating experience. The banker Aryck unexpectedly popped out of his seat after entering the information and simply said excuse me I have to check something. Aryck abruptly closed his laptop and walked out of the room with the laptop and my husband's driver's license in his hand. My husband and I sat there for 15 minutes speculating as to what happened. Did he get called into an emergency meeting ? 15 minutes later Aryck walks into the office and says that my husband's information was flagged in some bank verification system by another bank for $70 ... and more information was required. So my husband pulls up his banking app from another bank and Aryck proceeds to scroll and review the activity without even asking for my husband's permission . He wanted to see direct deposit activity etc. All of this over $70.... We have opened accounts at other banks and have never had such an uncomfortable experience. Then to top it off Aryck proceeded to draft up the papers for my husband to sign and did not ask him if he wanted to designate a beneficiary, but simply told my husband to sign the paper work without a POD - no beneficiary. This was not Aryck's choice to make and his responsibility was to ask my husband if he wanted to assign a beneficiary. We were extremely surprised at the level of service and will not be going back to this branch.

This is a great bank and a great branch office. I moved a couple of accounts from Bank of America to Frost in 2010, and I couldn't be happier. I am impressed every time I go to this bank. The staff is great, and are always ready and eager to help me. They have cookies and coffee, which is great. They have a nice waiting area for customers, so if you need to make a phone call, or look something up, you have a nice place. No matter what the problem is, they are there to help. Also, when I call this branch, they answer the phone EVERY TIME. This was not the case at all with Bank of America, or with Chase. The ATM is very convenient, and there is a security guard on duty 6 feet away from the ATM. I could go on and on about how great Frost has been for me. But in a nutshell, this is a great bank, and I would unreservedly recommend it to anyone. I am going to help a family member move her accounts to Frost in the very near future.
