I've been ska long time customer at this Centroa Market location. Lover's Lane. Never had issues with any staff until today. Store was super busy when I was there, and since I only had 10 items inside mu cart, I've decided to use the self check lane. I do know and am very aware that the staff do make sure that every cart has 15 items of less when you wait in line. As I was checking out, I head this lady who "ousted" me accusing me of having more than 15 items and I should not use the self checking service. I felt embarrassed and horrified because she accused me on front of other customer at the self check out area . Her tone of voice was not very polite and professional and even came as a bully to me the way she treated her fellow staff. I immediately asked her to come back and count my items. She refused, and then accused me of something like "I had too many grocery bars and there's more than 15 items" and waked off. I asked for her name and she said "Amanda" not sure because she had a mask on. Enclosed is a pic of her and where she's standing, I'm sure she saw my cart with my items. Also is the receipts that shows that I only had 10 items. I hope the company will teach their staff to have a more polite and professional approach and not embarrassed their customers. I strongly suspect she picked me because I'm old and I'm Asian. That's why I'm giving ONE start because I could not give ZERO star.

Where have you been all my LIFEI'm an avid WF/Sprout/Trader Joe's Girl and was asked by a family friend who knows my relationship with quality organics and one off items that can only be found in certain stores, if I heard of CM.I am new to Texas so I hadn't heard of CM and was pleased when I arrived with my family.Upon entering the staff was friendly and our children were offered balloons. We got a cart and started through veggies, when I say MUSHROOMS GALORE I mean it. They had EVERY mushroom I've searched for and had to go to certain stores for. I get my protein from mushrooms mainly and make anything from vegan steak to vegan chicken to vegan tacos and more. The fresh herbs are amazing as well and come freshly pulled and only need to be added to water once you return home. The meat section is overwhelming for me as I am not a meat eater and some of the FISH displayed is larger than my 5 year old son. My husband dabbles in meat so he enjoys that section. The gelato counter upon exit is the icing on the cake for my children as they work hard to help us with the groceries to expedite the exit at the gelato counter ;-)I can say that CM is a part of our rotation now when it comes to getting groceries.I Just don't appreciate having to pay for the kids fruit section. It's Free at WF, Sprout & TJ's

By far my favorite grocery store in Dallas. Everything is always so fresh, and I mean EVERYTHING. I love how you enter the code onto the machines by the fruits and vegetables and it prints out a label that has the exact price on them so it will not be any surprises at the register. They have a huge variety of different things. It's so easy to get lost in this store by looking at everything because you feel like a kid in a candy store. I like that when getting fresh me and seafood that you have to take a number and they call you so there's no confusion on who is next. Right before you get to the register there's and area where you could get hot food and ice cream which is always a plus if you're like me and refuse to cook after grocery shopping so you can grab food to eat asap.

The custom sandwich counter as absolutely fantastic. For less than $10, you can take home a sandwich, with your choice of bread, sauce, meat/alternative, 4 base toppings and a cheese of your choice. Fresh, high quality ingredients. Service is always friendly and attentive.

As a tourist from Canada, I always love visiting local supermarkets and found this place not too far from our hotel. We like stocking up on snacks for our room and just enjoy checking out different types of food available compared to back home. This supermarket is beautiful, large parking lot, lots of room and so much selection! Upon entering, the first area is for produce, plenty of fruits and veggies, fresh squeezed juice and a real market feel, kind of like Trader Joes's. I could tell this was a higher end store.Once you move through the aisles, there's really everything you could need and more. Large selection of wine and beer, huge cheese counter, deli, butcher and ready made foods. All the fresh items made on site like baked goods or pastas for example looked delicious. We already had lunch but couldn't resist and ordered a serving of mac and cheese and potatoes at the deli counter. There is a sit down area that is conveniently equipped with microwaves, perfect for an employee break or for everyone else who wants a quick lunch. We warmed up the food and it was so tasty. Honestly the supermarket mac and cheese was creamy and rich, one of the best I've ever had! They even had a gelato counter so we shared a bowl. For an elevated grocery experience, Central Market delivers - you aren't just shopping for basic goods, you're finding all kinds of unique items and can enjoy a very good meal either on the spot or to take home. It feels nice to spend time in.Small standout item for me was the bottled water, the selection is very impressive. They have their own store brand of mineral water from Fiji. I have never seen that anywhere!

Pricey? Yes...but, as my mother always said, you get what you pay for...Fabulous produce, cheese, seafood...and, oh, the BAKERY! Don't miss their breakfast bread...you will NEVER eat another piece of toast again.

I never write reviews for anything on here but i just felt so bothered by the horrible customer service in this location .I asked two employees in two different occasions about the cost of an orange juice bottle since the price tag was nowhere to be found. (trust me when I say I searched carefully to be sure that I wasn't going to ask an obvious question.)They both responded really rudely and loud about "Not working in this department" & "I don't know lady" with an aggressive tone. The problem isn't that they didn't work for that department and didn't know about the price BUT the way they behaved in such a improper manner. They could have just politely said they didn't work for the damn department and referred to us to someone who did, Its not that difficult. Ive had rough days at work but I never spread such negativity to customers.Yes, I understand customer service is difficult because of certain individuals BUT I was in nowhere disrespectful to these employees.Bless their hearts.. lol.

Delicious grilled cheese panini is always on my mind from the cafe! I add roasted red peppers this time. My niece received the spicy Turkey panini and giving continuously praise about her panini. Awesome sandwiches! Counter Service was wonderful as usual. After we ordered paninis we decided to go shop the market for a few additional items for dinner. Of course we had to visit the heavenly bakery. Always happy to buy fresh organic produce!

DOES NOT TAKE APPLE PAY! Don't be like me and have to make them hold my cart for 20 min so I can run home and grab my wallet. So embarrassing!! Lol but of course they were amazing about it. Always the best grocery store with the best seafood and meat!!

To stand in a line early on a Sunday morning before the store opens has to say something! Bought a fresh chocolate cake and a little veggie platter for a little pool party and it is gone! Did I mention I was here at 8 am on a Sunday? LoL. I heard this was the place to go when you have guests visiting you in Dallas!

A very cool place to visit. A visit here is truly an experience. From the fresh growing mushrooms, to the fresh fish & meat departments. The way the vegetables were displayed were beautiful.

This place reminds me of a grungy Whole Foods. The produce, and protein are super fresh. The prices did not look as outrageous as Whole Foods. There is a large selection and can be overwhelming! I went during a Sunday evening and it was very busy! The parking lot was pretty full so it may take you a minute if you want the premium spots near the door.

I love the variety of products, groceries items, and food to go at Central Market. All their fresh food is so fresh, clean, and fairly priced. I like how you can weigh your own items and print your sale ticket with their electronic scales. I like to get my lunches for work here. In their to go section, they offer a salad and soup bar, sushi, fried chicken, and a lot of other great lunch options. I like to change it up everyone I go! Probably my favorite are their to go salads. I prefer the Plano location... but this location is nice and spacious as well. Their staff are friendly and helpful.

The place was a maze and I didn't like that feeling. I was getting sticker shock from all of the prices. It was very busy and a lot of people obviously like it. I guess I am just more plebeian in taste. The produce looked marvelous.

It's a Whole Foods meets Sprouts market. Fresh produce, meats, cheeses. Hot food section for those on the go and want a fresh meal that isn't heavily processed. Prices are reasonable. Ample parking & maybe it was a weird evening. There were soo many birds wailing/screeching flying around. Fortunately, was not bombed by bird poop or attacked by a swirling murder (group the crows) LoL. Cashiers are courteous and polite. Please franchise to California
