Fruteria Cano is a popular spot offering a variety of fresh fruits, ice creams, and refreshing drinks, making it a good choice especially during summer. The fruits are sliced and ready to go, with a wide selection of flavors and options like smoothies, bottled drinks, and whole fruits such as watermelons and bananas at fair prices. Customers often enjoy the friendly staff who prepare the food with care and remain helpful even close to closing time. Favorite items include the sandwich, Happy juice, and vampireza juice, which are highly praised for their taste. However, the store shows signs of aging, with an outdated interior that reflects its traditional Mexican style. Some customers have expressed concerns about pricing, feeling that products can be expensive and sometimes overpriced, especially for items like juice. There have also been reports of inconsistent service, particularly with poor customer service and issues with change, which can be frustrating. Additionally, some reviews mention that certain menu items, such as the elote in cup and mango, did not meet expectations, and one customer felt the place has gone downhill from its earlier days in the 2000s-2010s. Overall, Fruteria Cano is appreciated for its fresh products and friendly environment, but potential visitors should be mindful of pricing and service inconsistencies.

Used to love coming here. However on my last visit, my husband and I bought a banana split. As we were eating it, I found plastic inside my ice cream. Don’t think I’ll be stopping by again.

Maybe I'm nostalgic, but I remember this place being better in the 2000s-2010s and sort of going downhill from there. It's still good though, just seems a little run down
