“There's a lot of stuff you can find in this store. Such as Studio Ghibli, Some Disney, Charlie Brown, Pokémon, Stranger Things, Sonic, Etc. Overall the store has a great selection and the staff is always super sweet and very patient when it comes to certain items that we're looking for. The quality is pretty good for the pricing. “I love this local hidden gem. One of my favorite neighborhood/local places to support. It is not hard to find but you won't just pass it. This is a great place for gifts. I buy here for those people who have everything, and they always comment (even years later) how much they love their WRSG products. I love all of the products I have for myself.
It can be a bit overwhelming because there are SOOO many options, but it is easy to navigate the store and learn the layout almost immediately.
This is not a place to find a bargain, but the items are fairly priced
I deducted a star because of the customer service. I appreciate that they don't rush you or constantly ask to help you. On a good day, I would say their staff is aloof. I have had two staff members be pleasant and engaging over the years I have shopped here.
However, my last visit on the morning of 10/5 I had an experience I would classify as "rude and off putting". I made a trip specifically to WRSG for a gift, my usual reason, and when I picked three items I asked the sales person if the 3 items I picked would be enough for a gift box or if I should add a 4th. Product sizes of the items vary. I thought it was a simple questionHer response was, "Gift boxes cost $3". Umm, not an answer to my question. I told her that was fine, then she walked away. No one else was working, so I couldn't ask anyone else. No one else in the store either. So it wasn't like she was too busy to answer my questions. Just seemed not interested in helping me.
When I did checkout, while she was ringing up the items, I told her I wanted the birthday packaging (a sticker and ribbon) that they have displayed. I paid, and then she started building the gift box. I reminded her I wanted the birthday packaging again... she said, "Ribbon is $1". She saw I have a frequent customer account, I didn't balk at almost $40 for 3 items. Why the hell does she keep telling me the prices at random times. I already said that before she finished my sale. Now she has to ring me up for $1.09 for the ribbon separately when I asked for before, and she already had the birthday stickers out, so she heard me. It seemed personal, and 2 weeks later, it's a head scratcher. This had to be the worst customer experience I have had there. If she was uncomfortable selling items to me, she should have another person working. In the past, the salespeople have either been pleasant at the transaction or mildly helpful with my questions. Nothing awful or I wouldn't stop there, FOR YEARS. I pass on their BRANDED items to my closest friends. But, that last experience was not good at all. It will make me rethink my next purchase with WRSG.”

“I LOVE this place! I was visiting Dallas for the weekend and got to go into this cute shop. I met the nicest worker in there! I wish I got her name, maybe she’ll read this! I was buying another one of the Kewpie blind boxes and I had told her I was in there that morning and I had to get another. I was too nervous to open it with her because I wanted to get the one I wanted and didn’t want to look disappointed if I didn’t get it. Well if you’re reading this I got the butterfly one! Just what I wanted! I wish I would have opened it with you lol you were so nice! Please let her see this review! If I’m ever in Dallas again I’ll definitely be back.”
“This place is a such a cute and unique gift shop/print shop. It feels like you walk into a gallery with affordable art! They have beautiful imported ceramics along with great stationary. Their journals,sketchbooks, and planners are of really nice quality. They carry art from local artist along with art from all over the world. This a true gem in Dallas”

“I was visiting Dallas when I wandered into this cute boutique. I was just browsing, and then I met Marilyn, who made the entire experience unforgettable! We started chatting and then she pulled a cardigan-blazer off the rack and said, “You would look good in this.” Not my usual style, but I tried it on and LOVED it. I bought it, had the tag cut off, and wore it out of the store.
Before I left, we exchanged numbers so she could text me when new pieces arrived. Marilyn has an exceptional eye and impeccable taste—especially for styles I wouldn’t normally gravitate toward but somehow look incredible on. Weeks later, back home in Seattle, she texted me a photo of a blazer, and I was OBSESSED! SOLD! SHIPPED! Every time I wear the two pieces I’ve gotten (thanks to Marilyn), I get nonstop compliments and people constantly ask me where I got them.
This is beyond stellar customer service!! Marilyn makes the entire experience feel charming, personal, and legit fun! Can't wait to go back!”

They had a perfect gift basket. Balloon. And stuffed animal delivered to the little guy we were sending it to the same day. They also have a good assortment of seasonal and holiday items for the home. Their baby and children's section is also well stocked. A few name brands like El Arroyo and Consuela. Plenty of free parking immediately outside of the store. One star less due to customer service - I've been here several times and haven't been acknowledged until purchasing something. A friendlier staff would be appreciated!”
