I’ve known the Executive Director for decades and have seen how much she puts into planning and detail, she really believes in volunteer vacations as a way to learn about a culture in a meaningful way and as a wonderful way to give back and serve others. She operates in so many interesting countries, from Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico to Thailand, Cambodia, South Africa, Ghana, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Romania, etc, and it would be difficult to choose with all those great options !

The bond we instantly created was so important and massive to my life Kimberly took a chance on me that has launched my podcast career into another stratosphere. She is my best friend for life for that. Her brilliant research and heart for community growth is incredible never met anyone who is as wise and loving as her. Globe Aware sets the example of how to serve others. They identify the needs by asking those they are serving how they can best help. Then they immerse themselves into the local culture. There is so much that we can learn from Globe Aware!

I had an amazing adventure with Globe Aware. The whole program was very well organized, with great coordination that made everything run smoothly. I really appreciated how responsible the projects were, ensuring that what we did actually benefited the community.
One of my favorite parts was joining in the interesting cultural activities and eat at local homes with the families, which gave me a real sense of the local traditions. The wonderful small group sizes made it easy to connect with others, and I could see how the program is fantastic for companies, solo travelers, families, and school groups.
They’ve been around 25 years I think, and you can tell they are passionate about what they’re doing. Plus, with programs in more than 20 countries, the opportunities are endless.
Overall, Globe Aware gave me a meaningful and unforgettable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for travel with purpose.

Love all their programs, but extremely varied, responsible, adventurous, fun and safe. Highly recommended. From Costa Rica, Cambodia, Peru, Guatemala, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Cuba, Romania, Ghana and more, globe aware does an exceptional job getting you interesting places doing meaningful things it is very unlikely you would find yourself doing otherwise

Amazing way to see the world and get the history at the same time. We toured Camino del Mayab in The Yucatan that Globe Aware worked on refurbishing! Wonderful leadership who brings thousands of years ago to current!
