My husband Joe and I have been ordering birthday, Veteran's Day, and Memorial Day flower arrangements yearly to place on my Dad's grave for the past 14 years from Gloria's Flowers. We have NEVER received anything less than over the top, above and beyond excellent flower arrangements. We are always treated with the highest quality of courtesy and professionalism.

I placed a floral arrangement for a funeral service and opted to pick up the order due to the distance and my need to physically see the product before sending it to the recipient. Either way, I walked into the shop and upon observing the arrangement, I complimented them to the gentleman who brought out the flowers, how beautiful they were. I asked the gentleman how to care for them but a woman, who I assumed is the owner, Gloria stepped in. I ask her, how should I preserve the flowers until the funeral service? She was very short with me and seemed irritated, as if every question I asked regarding watering the flowers, was a nuisance to her. I asked her, if my questions bothered her? Seeing as how she’s the professional and I’m the consumer and don’t know much about maintaining the flowers overnight, you would think she would show a little more enthusiasm to help.Not only was she annoyed, she began to spew out accusations at me, claiming I pushed her hand away when she tried to help me. I laughed in my head because never did that occur as I am not an ill tempered person so for her to accuse me of such really blindsided me.After her remark, I started to get an unsettling feeling in my gut, and in order to preserve my integrity. I told her I no longer wanted her assistance with loading the items in my car, and that I would do it myself because her attitude was purely unprofessional. She still followed me outside while I was holding the floral arrangements and started yelling at me, calling me all slurs and took her phone out to take a picture of my license plate. I stood in her way and waved my hand to signal so she would not take a picture of my license plate. I told her I would call the police (which I did) and it was at that moment she threw the ultimate threat at me by saying “you don’t know what people are carrying out here” I assume she was speaking violence. I kept 911 operator on the call because at the very moment, my life was threatened and I drove away.I only ever leave reviews when the service is either really bad (even then I usually don’t leave reviews) or really amazing. I am appalled that another human being would go on such a tangent giving the nature of why I was even there to begin with. It shows a lack of empathy and compassion for another human being especially during a time of grieving. Seeing as how these flowers were ordered for a deceased loved one. No empathy was shown instead this woman went out of her way to upset me. I have been in customer service for over 25 yrs. and never have I seen such disrespect towards a client—Never. As a small business, you would think integrity and ethics would matter. I strongly DON’t recommend their business and if I could save one person from having to experience what I went through, that would be enough.

I would like to thank the person who I spoke to placing my order earlier today for being kind and helpful. The order I placed was for my daughter's an assistant principal). By looking at the beautiful flowers of other customers, I'm sure that I will be pleased in hope the she love the arrangement.Thank you for your help??

I would not work with this florist. I am out of town and tried 3x to place an order online and the site just kept buffering after hitting the order button. So, I call the store just to make sure it didn't go through before trying again. The girl who answered the phone, looks and doesn't see my name. Cool. I then say okay can I place the order with you since the site isn't working. She proceeds to be slick and say "the site's working, we got other orders" well it isn't for me, I say, and she cuts in real quick with "what do you want to order". After telling her I would go with another company I decided to write this review. I was trying to spend my money with the organization (over $80) and I don't need attitude. She needs training on customer service because I clearly said the site wasn't working for me so it working for others doesn't help me nor return the last 30 mins of my life I lost trying to patronize the business. This is why small businesses go out of business because I could just go with a large chain.

Great service! I am in San Antonio, my friend who had surgery is in Dallas. After realizing I had some misinformation(location)...the driver went above and beyond to make sure she received the flowers i sent her.

I’ve order from Gloria’s on 3 different occasions and each time the floral arrangements have been beautiful, the flowers have been fresh and delivered on time! When ordering online from a picture, you sometimes don’t know what you’re going to get, but Gloria’s has never disappointed.

Update:Response to Gloria's numerous excuses...I gave the full legal name of the deceased within hours. I also SEVERAL times pointed out that there would be no service. Gloria's refused to listen to what I had to say and I was the person ordering the flowers. They simply did not want to do the order on the same day although they charged for same day delivery. This is an extremely unprofessional and lack all compassion. Learn from our pain and go somewhere else to start with.Ordered funeral flowers and paid for same day delivery as they advertise. Glorias called to say they need full legal name of the deceased. I called and emailed back full legal name within an hour. They called to say they funeral home said no service today so they wouldn’t deliver them today. I asked for next day. I then emailed full legan name again, wrote exactly, “No service. Need flowers to funeral home by noon.” No response. I then called at 10:30 am to ensure the flowers would get there in time to go with deceased to graveside. They had not read the email nor started making the arrangement. Furthermore; told me she had called the funeral home and there would be no service today and they would take them when they knew exactly when the service was. Again, THERE IS NO SERVICE. I lost my patience at their incredible lack of professionalism, lack of compassion for the deceased or relatives and utter ignorance in handling the situation. I canceled the order and ordered elsewhere.

Paula did the flowers for my wedding and everything was perfect! The greenery and flowers were beautiful and made the venue look amazing, im super happy with how everything turned out!
