Wade is an excellent store manager. He has extensive knowledge on products, and the product I bought was way cheaper than Amazon! 10/10 will be coming back to his store, great manager.

I tried a lot of supplements stores around the area. However, this is the best one. They have everything that we need as pre-workout, protein shake, energy pills,....even sleep supporting pills. Most of the supplements are natural, great flavor. They also have a great special deals for memberships. The card is free of joining. Super helpful and friendly customer service. I really recommend if someone need supplements for health and gym.

Every time I've gone to this location, the staff is very informative and nice! It's always really awesome when I go in with questions about protein powders, pre-workouts, etc. and the staff always recommends different products that they have personally used and like! They are also not afraid to be honest! If the product doesn't work, they will let you know. Great customer service overall.

Went in hoping to pick up Lean Shake, melatonin and coconut oil but upon asking if they had any premade strawberry Lean Shake 4 packs I was told they only sold them in cases. I asked if it was possible for them to open a case, seeing as I was travelling and didn't want a case. He told me no. Having worked for the company for years, and still have friends who do, I know that you can absolutely buy them in the 4 packs. And rather than just repeating how it's a better price per drink, they would go above and beyond for any customer that walked in. I left without saying another word, to them.

This location, like most, lives up to everything that gives GNC a terrible reputation among serious fitness enthusiasts. I'm a competitive bodybuilder and from the way I look, you would likely conclude that I know a few things about supplements and nutrition.
As I walked in I announced to the salesman (weighing about half my size and obviously does not lift anything too heavy) that I don't need much help as I've bought and used almost every item in GNC over the past five to ten years. I was looking for branched chain amino acids in a 30 serving size in a compact, small container or even in single serving packets because I was going to be in the desert for a month and could only pack so much gear in a bag.
I told the salesman what I used previously, BPI Sports Aminos (BCAA's with CLA & Glutamine), which was about $15 at Walmart or $25 at GNC. I told him something just like that, but in a smaller container or even individually sized packets if they had it, if not I would just buy that and spend the extra $10 since it was a gift card anyways.
He tells me that the BPI product is not really branched chain aminos and the label is a lie. He says "they put that on the label, but you never really know what's in there". I tried to explain to him that BPI Sports is famous for its ingredient integrity and purity verified independantly by Chromadex.
He disagrees and tries to sell me Performex branded items which are about four times the price of what I was asking him for, and didn't have the specifications I asked him for. He recommended a few other brands that were at least three times the price as well, and not the actual ingredients of what I asked him for.
Other suggestions were high priced and had nothing to do with what I came in the store for. To test his product knowledge, I recommended some other lesser priced brands like BSN, Cellucor, Musceletech and Scivation. All of their BCAA's were good products at a great price, even at GNC. He ignored my suggestions and claims they weren't good products and went back to the Performix and other premium overpriced items.
There was two other workers there standing around a sample drink in a container and some sort of promotion going on. I wouldn't know because they didn't offer it to me until I mentioned it after being in the store a good ten minutes. I picked up a new product by Musclepharm on the top shelf, simply because I had not used it before and it had the ingredients I was looking for, and the advertised sale price was $24.99 which was perfect.
They of course, all three hit me up for extras at the register and the membership, which I declined as I already told him over the twenty or something minutes I had been in the store by now that I used to have it, didn't find it valuable, and that I already have a pantry full of supplements that could pass for a small GNC in itself. I spend $250+ a month on nutrition and supplements. He just wasn't paying attention.
When my item finally gets rang up, the price comes to $39.99, and at this point I'm fairly furious and regretting ever stepping foot in a brick and mortar nutrition store for exactly these reasons. Online, I don't have to deal with know nothing sales people who think they are fitness geniuses, or misleading pricing or the hassle.
I hand over my gift card and credit card to just pay the wrong price without anymore wasted time or haggling and to get the heck out of this place. The other sales people have walked over and started pushing ridiculous suggestions and overpriced items on an older lady, a middle aged woman, and a college kid that had walked in.
I stop by the front to answer a text message and also to listen to the interaction. All of the customers are very new to fitness and seem pretty oblivious to what they are explaining. The sales people don't seem to realize they are dealing with beginners and need to start small, with simple explanations reasonably priced items.
After the super technical descriptions, th

Very cool people here....more than willing to take the time to answer all my questions and very educated on the products available. Thx GNC.

First time here, so this may just be beginners luck. Staff was awesome! Very helpful made some suggestions on protein one was a good option the other one was way over priced and clearly just trying to sell more expensive product without the benefits increasing. When this kind of situation happens it means I can't trust you or your pitch. Prices were alright not competitive by any means.

Recently visited this store as a returning customer who hasn't been in in quite a few months. AJ was very nice and helpful. He recommended different alternatives to what I was looking for. He is very knowledgeable and helpful with great customer service. I had been in a few months prior and wasn't treated as well so I was hesitant to go back but I had a great experience this visit and will definitely return. Also, they price match which is awesome and helpful when you are purchasing multiple items to complete your stack! :-)

Been there on 4 separate occasions. It's filled with a bunch of meat heads who try to oversell. On top that, they're always missing the product I go in for originally and try to sell me other junk that I don't want. If I go in for a product that assists with metabolizing it would probably indicate that I'm looking to slim down. Why in Gods name would I want an alternate protein that assists in bulking? I refuse to use this location anymore. The worst out of any I've visited.

Asked over the phone if they price matched got there and picked up my products and figured the guy at the desk was on the phone checking price against a local competitor....he then proceeded to help out a different customer for around 15 min to find "detox" supps...after he told the gentleman he couldn't serve that need (which was the only thing he did correctly) I had to ask him again to check price. He of course informed the competitor that he was calling from GNC so they wouldn't give him pricing....30 min wasted and my faith in humanity compromised, I wrote my first EVER yelp review...

To start my 5 stars comes based off of comparing to other GNC Locations all over Texas, South Carolina and Connecticut. This was one of my best experiences at a GNC. 1. No pressure to buy 2. Carries a great range unlike the corporate ones 3. Staff looks talks fitness outside of just what supplement companies tell them, which you probably already read online. 4. Courteous friendly and helpful 5. Will order for you as well 6. Best GNC prices Now I have shopped at MaxMuscle and many other franchised owned places all with good experiences, but for the Addison area good luck finding better!

The GNC on Coit and Campbell is the closest one to where I live. After dealing with the terrible service there (and trying to negotiate price after asking if he price matched online), I came over to this GNC. The guys working there were extremely helpful and gave me their personal opinions on each supps that I had done research on. And yes, they price match! Will not go to another GNC!

This is the best GNC I've ever been to! And yes, I have been to more than one. Usually I walk in, feel strange and out of place/shape, purchase nothing, and leave quickly. This GNC is family operated so they offer different deals than your regular corporate store and encourage customers to buy products that are not just manufactured by GNC. I went in to get a lean protein powder to use as a snack at work/after yoga and a really nice young trainer named Louis let me sample a couple flavors and helped me pick out the right powder for me. He was really sweet and knew a lot about the science behind the powder! It was a quick and helpful shopping trip and I really appreciated the attention and customer service! Definitely recommended!
