About Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra
Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra (GDYO) is recognized as one of the best youth orchestra programs in the nation. It offers a competitive environment where students grow as musicians and build lasting friendships. Parents and families are friendly and supportive, contributing to a positive community. The directors and conductors, including an inspiring director, encourage excellence and hard work among the players, making GDYO a valuable part of the DFW area.

GDYO is one of the best youth orchestra program in the nation. It is very competitive and my daughter really enjoy the friendship build in her orchestra. The directors and administration is very professional and encouraging for students growth.

My daughter has loved her first year as a violinist in GDYO. She’s learned so much and grown as a musician in even just a few months. Her director, Ms. Younghans, is excellent and inspires all the orchestra members toward excellence as well. We feel so blessed to be part of the GDYO community.

Great experience at GDYO ensembles, and super friendly parents and families, hardworking players, and conductors. It is so great to have GDYO in the DFW area. It is one of the best in the nation.
