I had booked a round trip and initial bus was scheduled to be at 7:50PM but the bus got cancelled. The mail contained no information about the cancellation (i.e if it was cancelled one way or of the round trip was affect etc) and it also contained no information about rescheduling. I called the customer care number and I had to wait for 40 mins to finally speak to someone and they helped me reschedule it to a bus for 3:30AM midnight.
I had a friend take me to go to the bus station using google maps and reached 3:20AM to board the bus. (I had arrived in Dallas the previous day noon and I am completely new to the city.)
I saw the bus and started walking towards it cause it was about 500 ft away and the security there yelled NO, GO AROUND. So I thought I had to go to the other side and get on the bus so we took a turn and went to the other side of the bus.
The minute I got out of the car the security guard started yelling at me asking if I was dim in the head and why I was not following instructions and then he proceeded to say that I was disrespectful when I had not done or said anything. He continued yelling at me for 3-4 minutes before pointing at board there that said no passenger drop off with an arrow that showed where the passenger should be dropped off. I proceeded to apologize profusely saying that I had not noticed the board and said that I will come in through that way but he said that he wouldn’t let me board. I continued to apologize and requested him to permit me to board the bus and he took a non consensual picture of me and said that he wouldn’t let me board the bus and ensure that I would not be able to travel from there (on another bus) on that day.
I pleaded and asked multiple times to get on the bus but he didn’t listen and just kept repeating that I can’t board the bus and that I would get a refund for the ticket. I had to leave from there in tears.
This was at 3:20 AM on a freezing night in Dallas downtown which is well known to be unsafe and I am a single 25 year old girl.
There was no reason to treat me that way when I told him that I didn’t see the sign and that it was my first time there cause I was new to the city.
I strongly believe the reason he behave this was because of underlying racism and that he had no strong reason to stop me from boarding.
I have received no refund for the ticket and comically I got mail to rate my experience and that is why I am posting this review.

This company is ripping the people off every way possible. Makes sense though, the business model now is choke every bit of money possible from the people while getting tax cuts and bail outs from the government. I wouldn’t be surprised if greyhound took away every amenity possible nd doubled their prices. We truly are in the capitalist hellscape thank you greyhound for caring so much

This station was a disgrace when I passed through about a week ago. First off you walk in and there's bits of trash everywhere, okay whatever. Then I go to use the restroom and the lights in the hallway leading to it work but once you enter the restroom no lights. And 3 of the 4 stalls had the doors ripped off. I wanted to get pics of video of this but was uncomfortable taking it in a restroom.Get it together Greyhound. And the second leg of my journey, Houston to Lake City overnight in late December, the bus had no heat. So instead of catching a few winks I was up all night rubbing my thighs to stay warm. Funny though when I was exiting the bus for a real restroom the driver had heat. Hmmmmm?!?

Easy to get around and ready to board the greyhound. Just need to make sure your paying attention to the ppl speaking over the intercom. And the person that is directing which line to get into. Make sure you have your ticket ready whether it be paper or on the phone with a QR code. Good traveling!!

Easy to access from highway. Early morning pick-up was only affected by roadwork being done overnight into the early morning.
