I really wanted to check this gym out, but unfortunately it’s not the best fit for me and my first experience wasn’t the safest.Pros: black owned, love the aesthetic and women-empowerment energy; Paige was amazing at check-in!Cons: first studio that I’ve encountered that didn’t offer spin shoes (shout to Paige for offering me her pair of sneakers). But no one was available to assist me in strapping into the bike so I struggled for 20 mins (different style from studios like SoulCycle or cycle bar). Attempting to do any spin choreo was a huge safety concern for me.

Great energy , love the variety of classes and the 30 minute options, LOVE that they offer Step, always amazing playlists. It's positive and women oriented. Just bought a membership after doing 2 weeks free. Also the front desk staff are authentic, genuine, friendly and very helpful

I love this studio! The instructions are great, the receptionists are super friendly, and the vibe is awesome. The decor is super cute and I love all the classes and events they offer. They are also super accommodating. I use ClassPass and one time I showed up to this studio instead of the one I had booked and they offered to book me into the next available class of my choice. I will definitely keep coming back.

Finished up my two-weeks for $39 intro offer, after not exercising for over 8 months; here are my thoughts:Pros:-pretty pink girly aesthetic-fun music and lights; it felt like a girly dance party every night!-great staff and instructors-Black-owned-variety of classes that totally kicked my out-of-shape buttCons:-not strictly a women-only gym (which was really disappointing to me, since I definitely feel more comfortable having a woman/femme-only space to exercise in, and the fact that it was marketed as a women’s gym is what drew me in in the first place)-other than the super early morning classes (which I’ll totally admit I’m too lazy to get up for) the classes are held around rush hour, so it takes me over half an hour to get there. One time I had to miss out on a class because there was super heavy traffic and I got there 6 minutes late despite leaving early (there’s a very strict policy of not letting people in after the 5-minute mark). At least they didn’t charge me a no-show fee for it! I think it would be nice if their two locations weren’t so close together; that way it would be accessible to more people!-while I did like their classes, they were all cardio and/or muscular endurance rather than muscular strength (so no heavy weights/machines). While cardio and endurance are great, I really need strength training more than anything else.-pricey, especially if you don’t commit to longer-term plans-no towel service-there was one instructor at the Design District location who used a lot of vulgar language, which made me kinda uncomfortable. She also recommended buying alkaline water (for an NSFW use), which can actually be harmful.Overall while I like this gym, I ended up deciding on a different one, mostly because of the price

GRIT is literally the best gym in Dallas. It is such a cute studio with such a variety of classes - from HIIT to spin to strength classes to boxing, GRIT has it all! The workouts are challenging and the instructors do such a great job pushing you to be the best version of you. They have an app that you can download to register for classes ahead of time and I loved doing this at the beginning of the week to plan out my workouts. GRIT also does challenges every so often and it really motivates you to go to classes and try class formats that you may not have! I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone in the DFW area. It is such a great place to work out and make friends :)

I cannot wait to join! I tried out the latest classes that will be offered in 2023 recently and I was blown away! The facility is much larger than what it looks like from the outside. The instructors were full of life and I love how they offer a little bit of everything!

Grit by Brit is truly girl power and sisterhood all wrapped in one. It is the ultimate safe space to work hard, feel good, and have fun sweating! Going to workout here is the highlight of my day most days. Love all of the desk staff and instructors!

As a recovering team athlete who's taken some years off training, joining GRIT Fitness out here in Dallas has been more than physically rewarding. The GRIT Family has already made me feel more than welcome and I've only been a member for a little over 2 weeks! GRIT Fitness offers well-led group exercise classes inspired by HIIT training, Step Aerobics, various styles of Dance, Kickboxing, Cycling, and Nike Training Club. The instructors are kind, professional, friendly, and empowering! The studio spaces are always kept clean and the staff are always helpful and friendly. I'm beyond grateful for discovering and joining the GRIT Family <3 :)

Super cute studio - wish I lived in Dallas so I could join!!! We took a dance cardio class with Jackie and it was a BLAST. Super easy registration and parking, the front desk girls had waivers all set up to fill out when we arrived! They were so helpful and friendly, we got checked in and headed on to class! Jackie had an incredible playlist and very fun, easy to follow routines. Dance cardio is a fantastic way to kick off the weekend with a sweat, and is easy to accommodate for all levels of dancers. No professional dance training required

Grit is not just a fitness studio, it’s truly a community! I’ve met so many incredible and inspiring women since joining 4 years ago. My favorite part about Grit is that it’s a comfortable and judgment-free environment. The instructors are empowering and welcoming to everyone in class. If you’re thinking about taking a class, do it! I guarantee you’ll be hooked!

Grit Fitness is more than just a place to workout. This studio has an amazing variety of classes and you're always greeted with a smile when you check in for class. They also have great membership options, including a virtual only level that's great. You'll get an amazing workout plus a fantastic community and support. I highly recommend!

I love this gym! The versatility of classes offered, connection groups, bi-monthly challenges, and inspiring group fitness instructors all play a part in making everyone feel encouraged and welcomed. I’d never joined a gym long term before but have been attending daily here for the past year and have enjoyed every minute of it. I would recommend for anyone to try Grit out!

I absolutely love Grit Fitness. I’ve attended classes at every location & felt welcomed and empowered at every single one. The atmosphere is unmatched! Awesome instructors and I love the variety of classes Grit Fitness offers which was something I really needed as I struggled with consistency in the gym . Grit fitness makes working out fun and truly enjoyable for me. I took my first cycling classes here and fell in love. The instructors give off great energy and are super motivating. Overall Grit Fitness is a complete vibe! Totally recommend!
