For the longest time (about 4 years now), Mitzy's salon was my Texas secret, but no more gatekeeping– it's time everyone knows how great Mitzy's haircuts are! I'm not from around these parts, but actually live in Maryland and would come to Dallas to visit family about 1-2 times a year. Every time I come down to visit, I always check to see if Mitzy is available for a haircut because I honestly don't trust anyone else with my hair. I have only gotten haircuts from Mitzy so far, and every haircut has me leaving the salon with a smile on my face and a boost in my mood. There's confidence and professionalism as she cuts/styles your hair. She makes sure to check in with you during the process to see if the style is coming out the way you like it, which I highly appreciate! She is also knowledgable about the current hair trends, which I like because many of the styles I ask her to give me are more modern, trendy (asian-inspired) cuts, and not a lot of salons know how to cut them. To top it all off, Mitzy is a kind and sweet person, making the entire haircutting/salon experience a delight. All this to say, Mitzy is personally my go-to hair salon in Dallas, TX, as a loyal client who technically travels 1,360mi to get a haircut from her (lol). So if you're looking for a new hair salon, give Mitzy a try!

I have been going to see Mitzy the last past few years to get my haircut. I had moved from Austin to San Antonio but could not find anyone that does as good of a job as she does. I will drive up to see her just to get my haircut done right without question. Her attention to detail is superb and it shows with how she cuts and how my hair looks long after.
Would definitely recommend her services without any hesitation.

I have been searching for a hairstylist for awhile. Mitzy is the one! She spent so much time making sure my haircut was absolutely perfect. This is without doubt the best haircut I have ever had. She is very friendly and I felt very comfortable with her. I will also start bringing my Grandaughter to her for her next haircut.

Highly recommend! Environment is clean and quiet. I have dry, wavy, Asian hair. This is my second time getting ash blonde full highlights and haircut here. Hair stylist you can trust, who knows exactly what they are doing, and suggests what is best for you and your hair. I will be back annually if not twice a year.

I had gotten highlights done by Mitzy about 7 months ago! With having my hair grown out it was way past the time for me to get highlights done again. I definitely came in with a challenging case, because I had gotten my hair dyed last year and when I had come in to get highlights on top of the dyed hair, it was a lesson learned. I won’t get my hair dyed again, with the intention of getting highlights in the future.
Anywho, this time around, I came in with outgrown hair and the bottom quarter of my hair still had the dye in it, so I was a mess, for sure!
But here comes Mitzy to the rescue!!! She envisioned for me something I couldn’t see for myself! She gave my hair a nice clean trim (long, layered haircut framing my face), and then did highlights all over, and did them in a way that worked with my already existing highlights that the end product was making me look like a million bucks, and I somehow walked away from Mitzy Hair with what looks like balayage! I’m in a dream state, I tell ya!
I will probably be moving out to Hawaii in August/September this year. But I’m telling you now, that I’ll be back at least 2x a year to see Mitzy for all my haircare needs! 1,000% recommend! Y’all can trust her with your hair! 💯🤩👌🏼🫶🏼

This is my first time bleaching my hair. I wanted to look different but do not want to overpower the color. Ms. Mitzy listened and understood the assignment and suggested balayage and it turned out great! Not only she did my hair but also gave me so much advice on hair care and styling. I really love my new looks and got ton of compliments.
