Amazing food, fast service, what more can you ask for?Every summer I look forward to the cold noodles, both with and without broth. It's super soothing and refreshing from the TX heat.

If you want authentic Korean with friendly service, this place is fantastic. The stone bowl and Bulgogi were amazing! We brought our <1 infant and they kindly accommodated her with a side of steamed veggies. Fantastic place and highly recommend!

The food taste was just so-so.The stir-fried pork is too sweet, so I wish it was a little less sweet. And the soft tofu stew was just tasteless. I don't think it tastes like the first lady. It's been 4 years since I visited, but I didn't feel like I wanted to eat there again.

From the lackluster service to the subpar food quality, this restaurant failed to meet even the most basic expectations.First and foremost, the service was abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and unattentive throughout our entire visit. It took an eternity for someone to take our order, and when the food finally arrived, it was clear that it had been hastily prepared. The servers rarely checked on us, leaving us feeling neglected and ignored.Moving on to the food, it was a complete letdown. The hot stone bibimbap, which is supposed to be a signature dish, lacked any flavor or authenticity. The ingredients were poorly cooked and tasted bland. The portion size was also disappointingly small, leaving us hungry and unsatisfied. The kimchi, a staple in Korean cuisine, was stale and lacked the necessary tanginess. It was evident that the ingredients used were of low quality, further contributing to the overall disappointment. Moreover, the ambiance of the restaurant was far from inviting. The interior was outdated and poorly maintained. The tables were sticky, and the overall cleanliness left much to be desired. It was evident that the management did not prioritize the comfort and satisfaction of their customers. To make matters worse, the prices at Hot Stone & Korean Kitchen were exorbitant for the quality of food and service provided. We expected a higher standard given the prices, but unfortunately, we were sorely disappointed. In conclusion, I would strongly advise against visiting Hot Stone & Korean Kitchen in Irving, TX. The lackluster service, subpar food quality, and uninviting ambiance make it a regrettable dining experience. Save your time and money by exploring other Korean restaurants in the area that offer a more authentic and enjoyable dining experience.

Lots of seating and it's open until 3PM on Thanksgiving. I can't think of a better Thanksgiving meal. Ordered the bean sprout pancake, tteokboki, spicy Kimbap and regular Kimbap, tofu stew and barley bibimbap. $55.14. Grabbed 2 more Kimbap packs to go, another $14. The spicy Kimbap has good heat, both Kimbaps are small and simple, but hit the spot. I could eat an entire meal of the regular Kimbap. The wasabi sauce is very subtle. The spicy Kimbap has anchovies in it, wasn't my favorite, but the heat is still so good. The banchans: cubed radish kimchi, kimchi, bean sprouts, greens and spinach. The spinach, kimchi and bean sprouts are good, the rest were okay. I prefer my cubed radish kimchi to be more crunchy. We realized we ordered a ton of food as tray after tray of food kept coming, that my husband kept going back to the counter to pick up for us. The tteokbokki sauce is quite good, reminds me of K-Town Pocha in NYC. The rice cake are long and slim here, a bit softer than I prefer, but still good. The soft tofu comes with seafood, shrimps, mussels, octopus too. The barley rice bibimbap was okay, the soybean paste comes on the side.

Affordable home style Korean food in the "old" Korean town. Definitely family owned as you see mom, dad and son working hard together. They were all super friendly too. Their combo deal is a really good deal. Enough to fill up 2 people people for less than $20. They had fried port cutlet for my picky son to enjoy because it sort of taste like fried chicken.
