I attended a conference from February 29, 2024 to March 3rd, 2024. The room, food, and hospitality service were great. The staff were friendly, helpful, competent, and caring. Stay at Hyatt Regency where you're treated best!

If you’re traveling by air this location would be ideal. The facility was clean and full of people. The rooms were very nice and clean. Driving in was a challenge but I think it’s designed for people traveling who could have access to the airport and shuttle service. I can’t comment on service but assume it is excellent. If you’re not traveling by air the location is probably not ideal.

Not really sure this place should be called a four-star hotel. The room felt old and kinda small. Also, I ordered a shrimp cocktail for like $22, and when I got it, I almost thought they gave me someone's leftovers by mistake. There were just 6 shrimps hiding at the bottom of the to-go box with a tiny bit of avocado. Total sticker shock, honestly.

A prison. I literally felt trapped inside this brutalist structure. Yes it's at the airport. No you can't actually walk to or from there. You are forced to ride share or wait on their shuttle. Madness! The food and drink offerings while stuck inside this dated monstrosity are both ridiculously expensive and painfully mediocre. My room was spacious and comfortable, but the view was so tragic I was forced to keep the curtains drawn for fear of inducing depression. I wanted to stream some calming music via the TV, but they charge for that. There is a Grand Hyatt across the way which I presume is better. If only I was able to get out of the prison to check that out...

I've stayed at this hotel longer term twice now and both times have been great. The staff at this hotel are excellent and really friendly - particularly the front desk and breakfast staff. The buffet breakfast is expensive but has a very good selection. The location is very convenient for flights but if you're stopping longer term you'll need to head out every night to find food etc unless you want to eat in the hotel every night - this obviously to be expected for an airport hotel. Parking is free just need to get the ticket validated at the front desk on the way out. Rooms are a good size and block out a decent amount of the aircraft noise and if you like planes like me the rooms giving a runway view will certainly keep you entertained.

Watch Bill Carefully!2 days after we checked out, my credit card company texted me to say Hyatt Regency DFW had added additional charges onto my bill. Sure enough, they tried to “stuff” an additional $6 for bottled water we didn’t open onto our bill.Pretty brazen ”bill-stuffing” since we specifically didn’t drink their ridiculously expensive bottled water and were quite annoyed that there were no glasses in the room so as to make it difficult to drink tap water. (Really? $240/night and you can’t afford 2 drinking glasses in the rooms? Even 2-star hotels provide drinking glasses!) So, I drank from the bathroom sink faucet by holding my hair to the side and turning my head upside down in the sink to get some water. Then, they strut force me to pay the extra $6 for their stupid bottled water anyway. Pretty appalling and bordering on the type of fraudulent bill-stuffing AT&T used to do in the 1990’s. Shame on you, Hyatt, for losing a customer forever just so you could make $6 once. Bad move. Also, place is run down and needs an update. Baseboards are falling off in places. Bed linens were thin enough we were both cold. They have a “comforter” that’s so thin it’s about 1/4-inch thick, and that’s your only blanket. No spare blanket or pillow in closet. It’s basically a 2-star hotel that charges 4-star prices because of its location.Yes, you can walk there easily from C-terminal exit C-17 and C-19. Cross through the C-area airport parking garage. Go up 1 flight of stairs to use the skywalk overcrossing into the Hyatt Regency’s parking garage. Cross the Hyatt’s garage and go down 2 flights of stairs to ground level where you’ll be about 100 paces from the front entrance. The walk takes 5-7 minutes: about as long as it takes them to answer the phone when you call to ask when the next shuttle will come. You should definitely walk back to the airport in the morning because there’s a rush of hotel guests trying to get to the airport on the shuttle and not enough shuttles. One lady had been waiting close to an hour for an empty seat on the shuttle and was worried she’d miss her plane. It’s literally a 5-7 minute walk. Just walk.Rooms: No room amenities. The bed’s “comforter” only 1/4 inch thick (February) and we were cold all night. No extra blanket in the closet. Smells musty like someone had smoked in there and they didn’t bother to do a deep clean to get the lingering smoke out. No drinking glasses. It’s bare bones. You’re paying for the location. The room is what you’d expect of a 2-star hotel.Walkability: Exit C-terminal from C-17 doorway. Cross street. Enter parking garage. Stay on white walkway thru garage until you would have to dodge to avoid hitting some stairs. Turn left, walk 20 +/- yards to a stairway on your right with a blue sign hanging from ceiling saying Hyatt. Climb 1-flight of stairs and you enter a skyway crossing over road between Hyatt’s garage and the airport’s C-terminal garage. Stay in white cross-hatched walkway to cross Hyatt garage. Down 2 flights to ground. You’re there!

Had a team meeting here. Skylan was great to work with. Short shuttle or walk to DFW. Checked all the boxes we needed with good room rates, food options, and ability to host our group.

This hotel was perfect for my impromptu layover inn Dallas. I missed my connecting flight due to delays and had to stay here from around 2 am to 5 am. I was able to get a room for 2 am and list that as my approximate arrival, boking at 9 pm the previous day. The front desk clerk quickly checked me in and I was able to go right to my room and get some sleep. The only con was the communal shampoo and soap bottles because I'm not sure how sanitary those are. But besides that this stay was great.

Easy shuttle to and from airport. Good breakfast buffet reasonably priced. Great for short stay close to airport (DFW) Dallas International.Walkability: Not walkable from the terminals as no sidewalks and you could be ticketed by the police apparently.
