Very accommodating. I called and asked how much they would charge for appraisals and was told that they don't do them. Sam said that I could take them in or send photos of them and they would let me know the value of the gun. I asked how much that would cost and Sam said nothing. I told him that you never hear that these days. This place just became my gun shop.

I visited here with my fiance and what was supposed to be a quick 30 min trip turned into 2 hours (in the best way). David was clearly passionate about the items in the store and happy to share stories about them. It was like having a museum tour. I'm sure we could have stayed even longer. This place is well worth the stop if you're in Dallas

Jackson Armory is, by far, the finest collectible gun shop in Dallas. The expert knowledge of the guys is second to none, the best thing is, they all have a specific field of expertise and will not only guide you but, if you are willing, educate you on what you should look for. And , did I mention their inventory? They have collectible firearms and militaria you won't find anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and go to Jackson Armory, you won't be disappointed.

Great assortment of weapons, almost felt I was in a museum. I talked to a couple of gentlemen and both quite friendly. One took the time to show me around and told me of stories of the memorabilia they had. Lots of folks kept coming in, and it was a little tight in moving about the store. A large assortment of firearms from different time may be felt I was in a museum. They treated me quite well and were attentive to my business. I will go back.

Everything seemed ok with my first ever pistol transfer. That is...until the man with glasses who assisted me with the paperwork made a comment worth posting about. I asked if checking one of the many boxes as "no" would be recommended or not to save a bit of time since the place was almost closing. He replied,"I would have to shoot you if you marked yes." That's was a very manchild thing to say.He also tried to open up my un-opened pistol package without any consent. Some folks believe they are invincible and can disrespect anyone they want just because they own firearms. Why would he disrespect me like that? Maybe he hates asian americans? That's fine. What goes around always comes around. Some sad folks out there grow old but never seem to mature. I paid the $75 for the pistol transfer and still kept my courteous attitude as i bid him goodbye to teach him what it means to be a man and stay civil no matter how big of an idiot someone is.Response to the owner: "I would have to shoot you" is adult humor? Really, now? I think NOW you're using adult humour because stating that you'll shoot me in the cold way that you said it whether you claim it's a joke or not IN A GUN STORE is not a joke for sane folks. I guess you're used to having people threatening to shoot you without showing so much as a smile on their face. If someone said they'll stab you while looking you with a dead stare after you ask a question at a restaurant, you probably wouldn't be offended because getting shot is more humane, am i right? I'm not your relative and i most certainely ain't your friend. Saying you'll shoot a stranger without even a shred of decency on your face regardless of whether you claim it's "manly adult humour" or not is just flat-out disrespectful and very manchild-like.If this were any other place other than a gun store such as a restaurant where an employee pulling a gun out would most likely not be the case, i would've confronted you then and there. Someone who probably owns the gun store surrounded by weapons most likely armed and loaded saying he'll shoot me isn't the best person to start an argument with if you catch my drift. You'd probably say i wasn't sane and kept my firearm if the argument boiled down to that which is what i feared the most.Adult humour...now THAT'S humour.

The most wonderful store in the area for collectible firearms. If you have an interest in guns, it’s worth a stop regardless of if you plan to make a purchase or not.

I've used Jackson Armory as a FFL transfer dealer on multiple occasions over the past 20 years. I have always been treated courteously and with respect. Since it's a small store, I try to avoid going there on Saturdays. I typically go when they first open at 10:00 am on Tues, Wed, or Thurs. At those times, there is plenty of parking and not too busy. All the men who work there are very knowledgeable and helpful to me. I'm headed there this morning to pick up a pistol I ordered online. I'm also taking several firearms with me to get their perspective and ballpark value estimate. They are serious about their business. It's 10:00 am so I'm headed out the door to Jackson Armory.

I come in whenever I'm in the market for a certain gun. I'm big into the milsurps, and that's what they specialize in plus vintage sporting guns. They have great prices for the market, and they tend to carry a few obscure guns that haven't been made in a very long time, for example British Martini Henry rifles. That, and the staff are very knowledgeable about the old guns as well. I'm sure they do their research. They also carry things such as bayonets and swords if you're in the market for one that goes along with your military surplus rifle.

The best place around to find quality antique and collectible pieces. As well as a great reading selection. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Not the cheapest deals out there, but you get what you pay for

If you are at all interested in collecting antique or unique weapons this is the place for you. Their selection is fantastic for all weapons. The staff is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that their building is too small and that can make it hard to look around especially when there's a lot of people.I Would highly recommend this gun store to anyone interested in antique gun collection.
