Here is my story. There is a neat little feature on Life360, yes, the tracking app that allows you to keep track of your family. They offer a platinum package that includes roadside assistance (Car towing, Tire Change, Vehicle Lock out, Jump-start and emergency fuel). They will arrange to have your vehicle towed up to 50 miles. This is where JZ Towing of Dallas and Royal Texas Towing came into play. Life360 dispatched JZ Towing of Dallas TX to our requested location and set a time of between 5pm-6pm. This was plenty of time for us to arrive at the location and have everything set for pickup. At 3:02pm I received a text message from JZ Towing stating they would be there between 4:17-4:45. I called JZ Towing to let them know we would not be able to arrive any earlier than 4:40 due to my location and the previously agreed upon times. The driver said OK and would be there around 4:40. Problem solved, right? NO…At 3:33 I received notification that JZ Towing had arrived. Then I received a phone call asking where the car was etc. This was a different driver than I spoke with previously. I explained the situation again to this driver. This driver then tells me that Tow trucks are NOT permitted to tow vehicles out of impound lots and then refuse to complete the service request. When I questioned the TDLR rules and regulations the driver said, “Well then you know the TDLR Rules don’t you” and proceeds to hang up. I called Life360 back and explained my situation to them and they dispatched a new company out. Within 2 Minutes of arriving at the impound lot Danny with Royal Texas Towing shows up. Collects the vehicle which was propped up by 1 of the 2 jacks stands that was also taken from my property by Fast Responder Towing. We recovered the second jack stand which was placed inside the previously LOCKED vehicle. We have photos of this crew breaking into the vehicle thanks to neighbors. I called TDLR. I was told that towing companies are not allowed to unlock vehicles without owner's permission. However, if a towing company finds your vehicle unlocked when they tow it, they must provide you with a full inventory of items found. Moving on now Royal Texas Towing completed the requested towing service and delivered the vehicle with no additional damage to the mechanics shop of our choosing. We cannot thank Danny and Royal Texas Towing enough for providing excellent and timely service. This might be an opportunity for JZ Towing to re-educate their drivers on TDLR rules and regulations and their dispatchers on dispatching drivers to arrive at perversely agreed upon times. As a final note: Fast Responder Towing did not provide an inventory sheet of the inside of the vehicle that contained over $2k in tools and equipment.

This service was amazing. I had an old truck that needed to be towed and this truck is very particular on how to drive it.

I had to have a car towed, and State Farm put me in touch with JZ Towing. The JZ Towing associate was extremely polite, and did a great job in handling my car onto the tow, as well as relaying the right information to the dealership the car was sent to. Very impressed!
