I order the wild caught salmon 3-4 times a week, not joking. Coupled with ranch potatoes, cumin carrots and Brussels sprouts, and it's a healthy and affordable lunch, that's easy and delicious. I've had their meatloaf and virtually every side possible, and I'm firmly convinced you cannot find a bad item on their menu. I'm sincere when I say I eat the exact same lunch 3-4x a week.

Located in the back of the food court off Pacific or I guess the side if you actually come off the street ... Kist is offering healthy comfort food. I've never understood how that goes together but no matter I am at ease with the concept .. quite comfortable in fact. I had Bruschetta Chicken W/ roasted corn and carrots on the side. First impressions: Chicken tasty but dry. Pasta nicely done and yummy Corn so goooooooddd.... Carrots slightly sweetened and nicely spiced. Bonus points for being next to Starbucks .. yeah I said it. I go to Starbucks. Don't act like you don't.... I guess at this point I should go back and edit the first impressions header to just impressions since I ain't saying no more but too lazy. I did just eat a large meal of comfort cooking .... Solid 4 star meal. I will return.

Really, really, really not good. I hate to write poor reviews for restaurants but this may have been the worst sandwich / fry combo I have ever eaten in my life. Literally couldn't even eat the chicken without a knife because it was too dry to bite through. Ate 3 fries and threw away the rest because they were soggy and cold. I ordered via a delivery app, so hopefully in person is better.

This is a great place to have a healthy lunch. The fresh veggies sides are a nice change of pace. Would be great for vegans or vegetarians.

Dan and his crew catered my wedding last weekend. Not only was the food AMAZING, and enjoyed by all, Dans staff went above and beyond making sure every single detail was covered. Dan offered us a plethora of menu options and was willing to cater to each and every detail. In our tasting, he made sure each option was something everyone could enjoy. Thank you KIST Heart Kitchen for helping make my day more than I could have ever imagined!

This is a great spot for lunch if you want a healthy meal for a reasonable price. My favorite meal is the Norwegian salmon plate for just $11. Comes on top of a bed of rice plus 2 sides. Their sides are always cooked healthy, no heavy oils, etc. The baked white fish is another good, tasty option as well. I have not had a bad meal here ever. I place an order at least once per week. Love them.

I used Kist to cater an anniversary party. We wanted 2 different proteins and a couple different sides but because some of the entrees come with rice (salmon) or pasta (bruschetta chicken), the guests were able to load up their plates with 4 different sides.

We wanted 2 different proteins and a couple different sides but because some of the entrees come with rice (salmon) or pasta (bruschetta chicken), the guests were able to load up their plates with 4 different sides. Caterers will charge you at least $20 - 25 per guests for the amount of food we had but using Kist, we paid less than half that amount and still got very tasty healthy food, great portion sizes and top notch service. I never had to worry once about any detail. They communicated well throughout the entire process, from the quote to post party. Whether you are planning a wedding or a casual dinner party with friends, I strongly suggest you contact Kist. The hardest part about working with them is deciding what to choose for the meal because all of their food tastes great.

Tried them for the first time today. Had the turkey meatloaf, which was phenomenal. The sides were very good also. Looking forward to going back.

I ordered the Salmon Seasonal Fruit Salad and was blown away by how good it tasted. The salmon is smoked, which contrasted nicely with the strawberries. Everything was fresh and surprisingly filling for a lunch salad. I will definitely be ordering this again!

I love this place. It is my no.1 go to place for lunch. I have tried several kinds of their salad and plate, all great. I love having a light option for lunch so that I won't be falling asleep at my desk in the afternoon. The business atmosphere is great too. The owner is very nice and helpful. Everybody works here is happy, efficient and nice. They remember my name and greet me everytime. My all time favorite is their salmon and brussel sprout. So so good.

Love the concept of Kist Kitchen and I'm hoping they open more locations across DFW soon. This food counter is all about healthy eating and finding a tasty solution to combat all the horrific problems (i.e. stroke, heart disease & diabetes) that stem from poor eating options. Everything on their menu meets or beats the American Heart Association guidelines to help prevent heart disease. They also source from local markets. Farm to table freshness, guilt- free choices, and a delicious variety. This place is a crowd pleaser. I've never tried their breakfast but their lunch is great. From buffalo chicken and cuban sandwiches to ahi tuna or chicken fajitas to salads (salmon season fruit is my fave). And they deliver via Yelp.

I really enjoyed having some healthier food options downtown. They have different proteins like salmon, chicken and meatballs. I did try the chicken meatballs but they had an aftertaste. I told the cashier and she said maybe it was something in the way it was prepared and she informed the cook. She was gracious to replace my order with the bruschetta chicken and it was so delicious!!! It was on a bed of pasta with a light pasta sauce. I paired it with the curry cauliflower (which I could have eaten on its own) and the corn medley which was mixed with sweet potato. I will definitely be back to try something new.

I'm a Downtown resident and tried this for the first time today. Is it the healthiest place ever? No, but it is certainly better than most other options in the court (especially the Cinnaholic across from it). I had the chipotle chicken sandwich and was surprised at how moist the chicken breast was. The fries taste just like the fried version. I just wish they were open for dinner!
