Closing at 11pm instead of 1am changes how I shop. I preferred shopping after midnight. This new store time is heartbreaking. The 12:30am store run after work was clutch af. I spent thousands in this store over the years and now ill be doing amazon delivery.

Marlene and Abigail at the cash register and bagging our groceries were very, very nice. A pleasant surprise in a store I have come to dread having to shop at.

Great location for a quick in & out as well as shopping for a full basket. They always have a nice selection of fresh produce and a butcher for select meats & seafood.
Bon appetite!

I don't know how they do it, but the prices for seafood and meat on sale weekly are fantastic! There is a huge selection, and the guys who work in the meat market are super friendly and nice. I don't shop here often since we normally purchase large quantities, but when I do, I have yet to have a bad experience!

Poorly managed. Was looking for gluten-
free bread as frozen bread was labeled for isle 15, when it was actually all smushed together on isle 16. I told the cashier and she pretty much did not acknowledge what I said. Another item I scanned was not in the system at all and of course prompted the self checkout cashier to come over and review the transaction as if I was stealing. And as I left in a condescending manner she said God Bless You. Ive noticed this level of customer service with almost all of the Krogers today. Maybe they just aren't paying these people enough??

Whats wrong with this kroger? Hiring employees with the worst attitude ever! Yes I understand they have to ask for my ID and I gave it to the employee but since when do I have to enter my info and scan it. Isnt that the employee's job to verify? And plus why take it away in a bad attitude? Its always the african american employees working there! Do something about it! Its not the first time this happpens!
Ive also seen employees fighting with customers and yelling at eachother in front of everyone. Is this GOOD customer service? Is this the impression they want to give?

Always just one lane and self checkout. Not enough staff here to ever help.

Update March 2025
I have noticed the best of changes with employees. Thank you someone for listening and doing some of the best customer service training to make these changes!❤️
***original post ****
Some of the most rude employees I've ever come across, anytime, anywhere.
I personally witnessed a gentleman at self check out, his phone ring, though he quickly answered it, an employee immediately grabbed his basket and continued scanning his items for him.
meanwhile, I quickly step up to self check out terminal that is closed, without noticing it’s closed, I began scanning, the same employee told me that it was closed, and then I should be able to read the “closed” on the screen, and that she is not a schoolteacher she does not get paid to read to people. (I gave her a few choice words of my own that she didn’t need to read)
I witnessed the same employee belittling a young lady doing self check out one night, the customer asked the enplyee to just leave her alone, customer felt as if she was going through security at an airport.
This place is over the top with hate & attitude, unfortunately these employees are directing attitude at the people who are paying their wages!!

I rated this store three stars because it is convenient location for me plus it's fairly easy to get in and out of the parking lot.
But i have decided to no longer buy frozen food here. I have had several frozen dinners lately that didnt taste as good as normal so I believe the problem is that the food is not kept totally frozen it probably sits out for too long...numerous evenings as early as 9-10pm i see several full pallets of frozen food sitting out. One night i had to go back to the store an hour later to get something i had forgotten & i happened to notice those pallets were STILL just sitting with nobody around! That might be ok for food buried in the middle of a frozen pallet- but all that food on the outsides of the pallet are gonna defrost when they sit out too long! Why is Kroger mgmt not fixing this problem?? I have personally seen certain individual frozen items in the freezer sit in a torn open box, so i reach for one that looks better - yet that exact same item was still in that exact same spot in the freezer a week later!!!! This should be unacceptable to Kroger!
This Kroger needs badly to do better in their frozen food section. It's far BELOW Kroger standards!

Very frustrating to go to this store and the maple Ave location for the money services counter to never be open!

Do not order pick up from here. They will never bring it out to you and you will wait for 30 min.

Kind of a nice store… Except can’t even keep hand baskets ready for customers to use, but that’s most grocery stores—corporate wont provide enough to stores. Also like most grocery stores you usually have to bag your own groceries and the prices just keep rising. Employees can only do so much. Minimum wage hasn’t changed in YEARS as of writing this and PRICES keep RISING HIGHER.

By far some of rudest individuals I've ever encountered. Absolutely no customer service!
