Went about a month ago for an oil change, had to come back to get my car “topped off” as I didn’t have any oil anymore after just a month and gave a call for the issue. Come to find out he only added 2 quarts to my car when I left the place to top it off instead of filling it up this second time. Would not recommend.

This is hands down the best experience I’ve had for my Kia Telluride! The staff is quick, efficient, and honest. They always treat me like a priority even on a busy Saturday. I will always return and recommend to friends/family!

I was in a bit of an unexpected hiccup with a punctured tire and needing a headlight replacement. Fabian and Dustin wasted no time the moment I arrived making sure they could bring my vehicle back to speed. Thank you for the great experience Fabian and good conversation. Appreciate the team!

Recently they failed my inspection for 'torn' windshield wipers. I replaced the wipers and they have not been able to re-inspect for weeks due to their own computer issues. Since they can't give me the reinspection I am entitled to, I asked for a refund and they said no. Horrible dishonest business practices like that deserve to be called out. Keep driving past this place and go somewhere else.

Open of business is at 8:00 AM. The store manager Tony did not arrive until 8:40 to open the shop, Due to this inconvenience there was a few customers waiting outside as well as employees. An unknown employee stated this is typical of Tony to arrive late. I am a Police officer and had to be at work by 9am. But due to this “manager” I showed up later then expected.As a supervisor i believe Tony should be at the shop and computers running ready to go by 8am. Kwik Kar is not what it used to be and This manager is terrible if he continues to show up late.Service: Auto maintenance

Had my truck inspected at this location. The truck didn't pass inspection due to a tint issue which I understand. The problem is that I was not told it did not pass inspection so I assumed all was good to go. I only found out when I couldn't register the car. I then reviewed the paperwork and learned that I had failed. No issue with not passing but a huge problem with not being told that I failed. Just FYIReply to owner: In my review I accepted the results of the inspection and don't argue them. My complaint is that your team did not tell me I had failed the inspection or why I had failed. Please reread my initial review and note that your customer experience is what I am referring to.

October 1, 2023: * Truck was towed to White Rock Automotive Mark, the mechanic, immediately found the issue* Truck was repaired by White Rock Automotive *** My truck was not road worthy and never should have been released to me. I have the additional repair and transportation expenses that I need to discuss. I expect to hear from you and resolve this issue by Thursday, October 12, 2023, 5 p.m. or I will file a claim, speak with the news media and contact the Better Business Bureau. I do not want someone else to have a similar experience after their vehicle was "repaired" at this location.Deborah Crow

I went to Kwik Kar last week in an attempt to get an inspection done and I dealt with Fabián. He pointed out 2 issues with my car that he said I would need to have repaired before I could get a passing inspection. One of the repairs I understood, but the other... no. Now he wasn't rude, but his tone felt a little condescending at some points during the conversation. His exact words were, "I will not pass you," and his tone was like a school principal's when you get in trouble. I completely understand they have rules and regulations to follow, but it came off like these rules and regulations were from HIM rather than from the state. Maybe I'm wrong, but it kinda felt like a power-type move and it just rubbed me the wrong way.He gave me an estimate of almost $500, but at least 2 other mechanics I went to in the past confirmed that the more expensive repair was not a safety-related issue, just an annoyance for the driver. As a woman, I'm weary about most mechanics because many of them assume you don't know anything and try to take you for a ride. Imagine going in to get a $25 service and being told you have to pay 20 times that price before even getting the actual work done. ? What especially bothered me is that he didn't even offer a cheaper alternative, so it just felt like he was just trying to get me to spend more than I needed to at the time. I just took his estimate and left... and I don't plan on going back. I went to Inspection Express Lube and had a completely different experience. They're not super fancy, but they were clean, have a comfortable waiting area, and were absolutely ZERO HASSLE! If you live in the Lakewood area, it might be a bit out of the way, but they saved me from this place both last year and this year, so it was totally worth it! As for Kwik Kar, I hope you can train ALL of your employees to be more customer-focused and give better service in the future.

Danny at Kwik Kar could not have been more helpful, courteous and absolutely pleasant to work with. He put extra time in to figuring out a situation with my license plates as he conducted my yearly car inspection. It was a seamless process and a total joy to work with Danny, he is a truly nice person and went above and beyond to make sure I understood the registration process. I will always come back to Kwik Kar for any maintenance or inspection needs!!! Thank you, Danny and Kwik Kar!

Two stars for cleanliness and quick service. BUT I was charged $95 for a full synthetic oil change when I expected about $45 charge, conventional oil. I certainly did NOT request or even NEED synthetic oil. I have never ordered "Full Synthetic" oil change at Kwik Kar or any other provider for my little Honda Fit. Why would I pay twice the price of an oil change to get synthetic when I have a 13 year old car and have NEVER used synthetic oil? No one told me I was getting the most expensive oil service possible. I am living on social security alone. Not only was the charge exorbitant, when I returned a couple days later to show them the prices of oil change at other providers, they refused to give me any discount or refund. Their sticker says I can come back in 3 months/3000 miles. Car and Driver says "Most synthetic oils are rated to last between 10,000 to 15,000 miles, or 6 months to a year." With synthetic oil, I will be going about 10,000 miles (will take me 3 years!!) before my next change, and NEVER to Kwik Kar at White Rock!

On 7/27/2023, at about 2:30 P.M. in the afternoon, I drove into this business establishment to have a diagnostic and potentially a repair as my AC was not working and pushing out hot humid air in a cycle with cool air. Sometimes hot and humid and sometimes cool air. It was over 100 degrees outside that day. The gentleman who took my auto said they could run a diagnostic and find the problem for $169.99. I agreed to the diagnostic and waited in the lobby area for the diagnostic. When the auto was ready, they charged me a total of $183.16 and they told me they had corrected the problem and the auto was cooling. I asked what was wrong with the AC and I did not receive an answer. Mr. Alex, the manager, charged my debit card for these funds. "They told me, when I was checking out, that if this did not work" to come back and they would try something else!!!!! This was a " diagnostic ! " I paid for not, "lets try and they we will try again at your expense!" As soon as I drove out of the driveway of the shop and onto Garland Road, the same hot, humid air began again. I got to a stop light and called this shop about the issues. I called several times and could not get anyone to answer the phone. Finally, I called and Mr. Alex, the Manager of this business. I explained to Mr. Alex, the manager the problem with the auto having the same symptoms and no AC just like it was doing when I came to the shop and prior to being charged $183.16. He said, "Too bad, you do not get your money back and we are not making corrections, we did a diagnostic and you paid for a diagnostic." I called again and tried to explain that this was not a diagnostic as I still did not know what was wrong with the AC and it was just the same as it was prior to your shop. Again, Mr. Alex said, " Too Bad." This is not only unimaginable, it is fraud and illegal to hold out a "Diagnostic" and never give a diagnosis! I experienced deceptive trade practices and fraud. I am reporting to Better Business Bureau, Attorney General of Texas and filing a law suit for treble damages due to fraud.Never Never Never Never Never go to this fraudulent repair shop.Cheryl Heed
