*WARNING* This place NEEDS to be shut down! The worst place you could ever screen! Please be aware if you are traveling for screening they will waste your time and never give you the results of your blood work! I drove from San Antonio TX to screen for a trail and I've traveled all over the USA for clinical trails so this wasn't anything new to me. However the experience was so bad it's almost unbelievable! Normal screening takes about 4-6hrs but it took so much longer here. I screened on Dec 17th and didn't hear ANYTHING back until the Dec 30th and the only thing they called to say was they messed up on my blooswork and I needed to do a repeat. I went back for the repeat and I should have known better after the first time. Again no one called with any updates good or bad. I've called over and over again only to have them hang up on me! I've left message after message with no call back!!!!! Today is the 6th and no one has called me! I finally got through to someone today and they told me management would reach out to me in regards to check in tomorrow but NOTHING! PLEASE SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN! Fortrea Dallas is a joke and waste of time it's literally a day before my trail and no one could tell me if I got accepted or not! I called so many times it's crazy and still nothing DO NOT waste your time and travel here. I will not be participating in this trail or any others with Fortrea. I heard horrible stories about Fortrea Dallas from friends but I never thought it could be this bad. I can only imagine the chaos inside once admitted. Read other reviews the same thing!

I participated in a study and had really bad AEs.
I notified the staff that they were getting worse and that I’d like to speak to the doctor overseeing the study.
They said he would be in the next day and I could speak with him.
The next day my vision started blurring so I became alarmed.
I asked staff did the doctor come in and they stated that he came in and left without seeing me because my AEs weren’t serious enough.
I left the study early and went to urgent care for a full screening because all Fortrea did was check my blood pressure and temp.
Fast forward and I screened for two separate studies and the doctor stopped me from checking in.
There are many other facilities in Texas and other states across the country.
Go to a place where staff are actually concerned about your health and not just collecting data to get paid.

PLEASE THINK TWICE now been named FORTREA before coming to these facility; although is a nice facility with a plenty natural light, they check your bag as if you were going to prison, mess up all your things and confiscate literally everything !! Don’t expect to keep nothing for your whole stay !. I saw how they got rid of 6 people since they always get a lot more people from what they need and some flew all the way there just to get the stupidest excuse for getting kick out!. Is rude to keep recruiting way more people than what they need just for their convenience and never think and emphasize with participants that have traveled for hours, paid for hotel and Uber. Then they wake you up at 4am to check for Aid unnecessarily and threatened you with penalizing you for getting late to the procedures when the paper is on the wall and you need to wake up super early to go and take a picture; instead of them been more organize and give you your schedule for the whole week so that you can be prepare like in most of the clinics. This clinic is “the WORSE” they are very good to deduct money for any little thing or kick out when coming from very far; but when it comes to their responsibilities they are very unorganized. Save your self the headache !

They have one of the most if not the only incompetent management in the field.
They open the lights and wake you up at 5am to ask for AE? As if you gonna know if you have any once you wake up. Just ask 2h later in the breakfast. That’s the most idiotic thing ever and the only place that practices it.
The building has great facilities and could use the full potential to take participants out for walks and fresh air. Instead they have you locked up for weeks with no fresh air, sun or walk. That doesn’t represent healthy living conditions and sponsors should look somewhere else to get concrete data on their studies.
One of the lowest pay per day averages 300$ while every other place is 550$+
On multiple day blood draws they don’t use butterfly, so they straight stick you 15 times a day. Unheard of. It makes everything easier for both staff and participants.
Plus they put out the schedule at 2am and the food serving times are always different expecting you to be at 7:30am for breakfast.
If the management would be better, schedule would have been pre set for the whole duration and given at check in so participants can properly prepare for the times. Instead they blame participants and dock money for being “late”.
I wanted to point these easily fixable things out so they can try and be on the professional level other clinics are.

If you can find another company to do clinical trials with please do so. I came from out of state which required me to schedule a flight among other things.
I received an email a handful of days before the screening visit that my appointment had been cancelled, which resulted in me losing hundreds on the initial flight. I had no choice but to pick a separate day which required me to spend more days at a hotel and schedule another flight.
A few days after getting back home from the screening I received a call noting that the study has now been postponed.
Total money lost for this fiasco between airport parking, flights, hotels, and Uber/Lyft well exceeded $500 for a screening visit that didn't even include compensation. Never again, 0/5 stars.

Pretty odd, listed as 3 different names, Labcorp. Fortrea or whatever that is and Covance. all 1 star reviews. PPD in Austin used to do really good stuff. Ask questions and get it all in writing

Cant get ahold of anyone in the office and nobody will call you back I've left hundreds of messages with screening department and filled out hundreds of forms on their contract site all with zero results don't do a study here poor management people should be fired for not completing their job tasks. This place doesn't care about your safety if they did they would use a ADULTERER TEST to check for fake/synthetic urine and use VCT to make sure people don't jump from one study place to another as many people do. Also left unattended at night no staff on floor for several hours at night. Schedule is never posted before bedtime. Rude staff waking you up at around 4am everyday for AE. Most staff constantly on their phones while working/doing procedures. Very poorly managed facility Most of the food is garbage all the condiments full of poisonous high fructose corn syrup, seed oils, canola/vegetable oils. Meals are mostly carbs, cereals are all full of sugar. They need to fire management and nutritionist as well as half the staff to get this place running right one of the worst study places on the planet to do a study.

For some reason, I have finished this last study months ago and have not gotten paid for my blood draw . Is been months. I have not gotten released from this study i did months ago either. Everytime I call, the rep emails whoever stating I need to be paid and release from study I completed months ago. I'm tryna do another study but this is preventing me. There isn't a number to Contact anyone about it. I need to be paid and taken out the system so I can do another study. I'm in need of money. I NEED SoMEONE WITH POWER TO CONTACT ME ABOUT THIS COMPLAINT ASAP.

I’ve screened here three times. All times I never received any phone call back regarding labs/check in. I’ve had to call them back for an update an even then the screening dept. tells me they haven’t heard back anything. Before Covance switched to new management everything was good. But this new management is horrible. Not only do they not give you an update on anything but when you finally do get in touch with them (let’s say ON the day you should check in) they tell you that someone forgot to call you about the check in status. This has happened twice, the third time they didn’t call at all.
