Lake Highlands Shooting Center is a modern indoor gun range that offers a safe and clean environment for pistol and rifle shooting. It can accommodate shooting up to 3500 fps, but does not allow steel ammo. The range is unique in the Dallas Metroplex for its MILO Projection Targeting System, providing over 800 live scenarios, including school invasion drills, which can be shot during live fire sessions. The facility features three isolated classrooms separated by acoustical walls, making it suitable for training and classes. All range air is filtered and evacuated, ensuring only fresh Texas air is used, with no reintroduced air. The range is friendly and accessible, with reasonable fees and special discounts during happy hour from 12 to 2 pm, Monday through Thursday. It offers basic pistol and license to carry (LTC) classes, as well as FFL transfers, gift cards, and punch cards for multiple visits. Staff members are helpful and welcoming, providing excellent customer service. The facility is well-maintained, with mechanized targets and available ammunition, making it a good choice for casual shooters and those seeking instruction or training.
