The new place is nice but be careful about the groups that meet here. Outside issues are often discussed in meetings especially politics disguised as "threats" to sobriety. This is not a welcoming place for all alcoholics. It caters to GLBT and Democrats and the shares often get very political. If you want a group that is welcoming, there are plenty of others to chose in Dallas.

I was clean for 5 years. Started going to CMA meetings in Dallas here because I was being tempted and was struggling, and was IMMEDIATELY preyed upon by dealers. They pretended to be clean, then invited me over to their place, and whipped out a big ol' baggy of crystal, and syringes because since I spoke at the meeting they knew I'd been an IV user. I was not strong enough to say no. Again, went to the meeting for HELP!!!!! Got the complete opposite ??? This relapse sent me down an almost 3 yr spiral. I lost EVERYTHING except the clothes on my back. LITERALLY. I had a gd music studio before I stepped foot in this BS building. I regret going to this ?hole of a group everyday. I lost everything because y'all don't care enough to vet people. Ya wanna know the funniest part? WE WERE AT A SPONSOR'S HOUSE! Literally. A sponsor. Look into your own people before you entrust them with people who need help. AA style support groups only have about a 5-9% success rate, while the relapse rate is between 50+%. You should be shut down. PS I'm only giving this 2 stars because it seems all my 1 star reviews get blocked, so I'm trying something new. But I'm actually giving you 0 stars because you don't deserve to run an establishment that pretends to help gay men when you're just hurting our community as much as the people who want us criminalized for being who we are.

I am rating them a "5", but I actually know very little. I was walking by and stopped and chatted with someone in their office. He/they seemed very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They appear to be a perfect stop for anyone who needs their services.

A very welcoming and friendly atmosphere and very clean with beautiful artwork. Wonderful people that are there to help you through your recovery process. I thank God for guiding me to this place.

Been here a little over a week. Want to be left alone? No problem. Want to socialize? That's not a problem either. Very understanding and supportive group.

I am visiting from Atlanta (Macon, GA) and the members made me feel welcomed and encouraged me to come back during my 3 week stay in Dallas.

I am a member of Lambda, since 2013. I continue to go there because I feel very comfortable there. The fellow members are nice and they care about the other members. They have tons of meetings that you can go to throughout the day. I've tried other meetings at other places, and they were just okay. I really love Lambda.

I loved this group for the group it is until the big ol swole guy running the group turned me off by assuming that I wasn’t ready for this program it really hurt my soul that he was so negative BUT we talked it out because best believe I let it be known. LOVE LAMBDA group
