So much potential at this theater built in the 1940s. First time, the couches and bean bags did play the only reason we decided to catch a film here. Upstairs stadiums do not offer these options. Bathroom toke me back to my elementary years in the 80s. The concession options are awful. Everything is warmed in the microwave oven. Only fresh option is the popcorn.Walked in, felt like walking into a horror film. No music, lighting could be better, one soul and zero smiles. Could use some investors to really bring this beautiful place back to life.

Well, it is in fact a movie theater.Pros: there is popcorn and drinks and a bar that I suppose opens at some point.Cons: where to start. Everything's sticky. My shoes made the most gawd awful squirrrunch walking on any hard surface (thankfully most of it is carpet). The poor guy at the front desk was the only employee there (he needs a raise). Bartender was a no-call no-show, so had to stick to bottled beer & white claw. The AC works in the lobby, but not the 2nd floor theaters. I guess thats a pro since you definitely wont need a jacket (or a shirt). The seats need a serious upgrade. Also, there are no couches or bean bags in 2 of the 3 theaters (this is not clearly stated on the website anywhere, not even under the show times or on the tickets). I was sent here by tiktok because of the couches and wanted a cute date. Would have better spent the same money at Alamo or even cinemark. Hope this placw gets a deep cleaning and new management or a large inlux of cash for repairs

Pretty old and small screens. Seats need reconditioning.

This classic old-school theater has a great vibe in a nice area. Family and all-age friendly with a full bar and comfortable couches for adults and bean bags for kids. Theater is getting older, but definitely worth your support. Thanks to the owners for keeping it going.

It’s time for this place to be shutdown. The wolf is gonna huff & puff & blow the whole thing down because it’s hanging by a string. Not to mention movies being disrupted due to faulty projectors. If you’re thinking about seeing a movie here, don’t.

Really not up to snuff to today's standards. The chairs do not recline but they are high backed. Bathrooms were decent. There were 9 people including myself at the matinee. Adjacent theater sound penetrated our theater. I'm not sure how much longer this place will cling to life. Kinda sad really...

Worst projection in Dallas. Talked to management twice about the DCP being cropped/scaled wrong and they did nothing about it. Gorgeous theater but not worth stepping into because the film exhibition is worse than AMC.

Saw Barbie here! Seats were so comfortable, the popcorn was great and the water was in a super cute bottle.

They don't have A/C in theater 1 or in the lobby....don't go unless you just cool with not being cool

Management has issues. Yes it’s a cool old style theater the most people want to go to but they let young teens run wild with no theater supervision in hallways or theater. Projector broke down several times on one visit and totally broke down on a second visit where they had to give us a full refund.Get a hepatitis shot before sitting down because although comfortable they hardly dry clean their seats. New management and an infusion of capital could really make this place great.

Went last night to see the midnight showing of Rocky Horror. It was SO HOT! Too hot to enjoy the show. Everyone in my group complained. This was our first experience here and may be our last. No one wants to see a movie with sweat pouring down their faces and backs. If the A/C is out, give refunds or bump the tickets to the following months performance.Kudos to the sweet guy taking tickets. He offered everyone cups of ice at the door.Callouts by staff were a bit loud and drowned out audience callouts.

creepy place. the couches smell weird, kinda moldy and old. i thought the tickets where more pricey cause it was going to be nice but everything is outdated. popcorn wasn’t fresh at all and over priced. for the neighborhood this movie theater is in i expected WAY more. the restrooms looked like bar bathrooms all dirty while they had like 5 workers just on the phone. btw they don’t alow blankets
