Amy and Rosie were amazing to work with for a new auto loan. I must have contacted ten banks and Lone Star Credit Union had the best rate and quickest turnaround.

During times of rough economics, and less than trustworthy people. Ms.Amy Gonzalez has gained me and my spouses trust, faith and appreciation. She is an INCREDIBLE example of hard work, compassion and transparency.Lone Star gave us the chance we prayed for when no one else would. We will forever be grateful and remain with this Credit Union for a lifetime.

I would not recommend this bank, I’ve been a member for 10+ years. My card gets blocked way too frequently over purchases that I made. I get left with no access to my money and not one person to help unblock my account after hours! Me and my kids will now spend the weekend without a dollar! Thanks lone star!

So I’ve been with this credit union for a very long time but I’m really considering closing my accounts so much has changed since the renovation’s of the building I don’t think the same people are there anymore customer service is horrible and it has never been that way and rules and regulations has changed and it’s just a horrible experience lately

I'm sooo blessed ?, to be a member of lone star credit union ?. These folks, have LITERALLY HELPED ME, get some peace ✌ of mind back. You know, in the times we're living in, MOST of us regular, hard working people, are having it hard. And we're struggling, and we're doing OUR BEST, to to stay above water ?. So when you find professional, but NICE, CARING individuals, that REALLY DO CARE what you're going thru, it's such a wonderful blessing to share with others! Rosie Villegas, did just that! She listened, (and she REALLY listened), she offered, & she HELPED ME! And for the first time, in Long time, I'm able to breathe, even if it's just for a lil while. And I'm grateful ? to my EXTENDED family? Miss Rosie V., at LSCU, and the whole organization. I have been a customer of LSCU for many years. I do not do my regular banking there as there is not one near my home; however, they have handled several of my vehicle loans and I have never had a problem. I get approved in one day and can complete the application on line or over the phone. I also get a coupon to skip my December payment and add it to the end of the loan to help with Christmas expenses. I highly recommend them!

I was speaking to someone about getting a auto loan refinance. And the agent I was speaking to was very rude and seemed like she was discriminating against my information that I was giving to her. Not professional at all. I had explained that my interest rate with another lender was 18% and she was very rude about asking why is it so high. At the time of me getting the auto loan my credit wasn’t all that good. But now that my credit is better I was looking for refinancing options. It does not look like it will be with Lonestar due to the disrespect and unprofessionalism of the agent. I called in on April 5, 2021 at 4:25 PM

I love them employees but am very unhappy that they are doing away with the bill pay. Just feel like we lose benefits everywhere else and now we are losing huge at the credit union which is supposed to be for the members. Ben a member for almost 25 years.

This place said they make loans based on credit score. Let me tell you that isn’t always the case. My loan was approved then denied with an 834 credit score. I work for my family’s dealership and I buy brand new cars annually. There was a vehicle traded in to my dads store and I decided to purchase it. They denied my loan because a truck I had previously owned is in inventory with a pending tag on it waiting for delivery to the new owner. I traded the truck In to a GMC dealer

I applied online on June 27th went in the Greenville branch to check the status and Kim was very unprofessional. She acted like it was an inconvenience that I came in to the branch to check my status on the application and she said I was the third person that came in that day and she wish people would wait and said the people don't have any patience. I never even heard from anybody from the online application even after I emailed someone. Oh well I ended up going to a different bank. Glad I dodged a bullet with this one
