Yesterday I went to this store at The Galleria Mall and purchased some items from the backstage which is like on the second floor in the lady's area of Macy's. I had bought some items from that area and decided to go down to the men's department and buy some men's colonge for myself. After smelling a few fragrance I decided on what I wanted and proceeded to check out at the colonge checkout area. Guess what I tried to tap my card 1 time it declined so I'm like that's weird cause I just purchased items from the second floor. I tried to tap again it declined so I'm like no way I know I have a certain amount of money on this card why is it declined so I proceeded to use my chip this time and enter my pin it still declined so know I'm like what the heck is going on here so I literally immediately got a fraud alert ⚠️ sent to my phone from my bank telling me some fraudulent activity has happened while trying to pay for this item now I'm locked 🔒 out of my account. As I log Into my account I noticed that they have charged my card twice for the same item which was for a substantial amount of money I was pissed. I showed the lady cashier that hey why are you all charging me twice for this item and she said that oh it will be back on your card after 24hrs so I stopped shopping immediately and left the store something was sketch about this ish.I got home and by that time the banks had closed and I couldn't directly report this issue. I kept checking my account all night and it was showing processing which I thought OK my money will be back on my account by the morning,so I check my account and I tell you the was not replaced back on my card and the transaction that were pending which were the 2 of same purchase had literally disappeared like it didn't even show that my card was used at that cashier station everything was erased from my account so knew then that I had been scammed out of my money I kid you not my money is gone and there was no return of funds so now I have to close my account with the bank and literally take that major loss I'm going to dispute with the bank but still I know this was a complete scam process from this point and PLEASE READ THIS DONT GO TO THIS MACY'S EVER IM SURE IM NOT THE ONLY THESE EMPLOYEES HAVE DONE THIS TO TRUST ME THIS IS NOT A GOOD PLACE TO SHOP THEY ARE THIEFS AT THIS PLACE DONT SPEN YOUR MONEY HERE AT ALL YOU WONT REGRET IT. I'm hurt because I work hard for my money and I didn't deserve this. 😪 PLEASE don't shop here ever

On a very slow day when there was almost no one in the store, I had money stolen from my wallet in the changing area after accidentally leaving it unattended for 5 minutes (this part is all my fault, obviously). However, when I asked the 4 employees who were manning the cash registers 20 feet away if they saw anyone go in there they all said no. When I asked to see footage from any of the cameras that were pointing directly at where my wallet was, they claimed they didn’t have access to the footage and there was no one they could call to get it. There were 300 reasons to not help me. Disgusting.

I actually like Macy's Galleria, but the 3 stars is for the customer service. I had to locate someone so I could check out and pay for my clothes. Thankfully a beautiful young lady named Shatoya( women's section) saw me in distress and came to help me. She quickly located someone to check me out so I could pay for my items. Shatoya saved Macy's today bc I was on the verge of just leaving. Put people like Shatoya in the forefront bc she is customer service focused and is paying attention to the needs of customers. Give her a raise too !

Hello, I want to report something that happened at the Macys store in Galería in the perfume department. I was looking for some perfumes and I approached a woman who worked in that area. She was like a Latina and she showed one of the perfumes she had there and told me the cost. and it seemed very expensive to me and I told her that I was looking for something cheaper and I wanted to buy several perfumes and the woman with a sarcastic tone told me if you want cheap perfumes go to another store Macys only sells expensive and fine perfumes I thought that the attitude of that The woman was arrogant and discriminating. I was very upset by that person's behavior and I actually went to another store to another Macys and in that store I found the perfumes and the price I wanted. Gentlemen of Macys, I hope you read this note that I publish and pay attention to the way your employees treat customers. Because one customer they lose is equivalent in the long term to 5 to 10 customers who will not buy due to the bad references we give.

Staff members are extremely helpful. Large selection of items. Only issue was inventory online is not up to date. Item might not be available when you arrive.

WORST costumer service at the shoes section at finish line. Tried to exchange shoes to a different size and would not allow because did not have original shoe box. Was not told about this when we first bought the shoes. We had bought like 3 shoes from there and put them all in the same box. But because we didn’t have the same specific shoe box we are now stuck with shoes that doesn’t fit. The worker was not aware of this policy either until we wait for like 30 min for the worker to OPEN the cash register! we clearly will never come here again just buy directly at finish line

I got a perfume in store as a gift for a freind and they told me they would ship to my house for free with a 15% discount and I waited 5 days and it dident come and on the day of the party I went to the store and they told me to wait a little more and came but they lied and it haven’t come yet and when we called them customer service was horrible

This store is a great example of why department stores are dying. Pulled up to pick up my curbside order, website suddenly said I had to go inside to pick up my order at the jewelry counter. I walked in (mind you 2-3 hours from closing time on a weekend) and there is only 2 people in the entire department. One was helping a customer and the other was standing at a cash register with her back to customers and ignored me when I said "excuse me" and stood there. I tried asking for help at the service center at the suggestion of the kind Pandora employee, they sent me back to the jewelry counter where I was ignored while the one employee who wasn't helping anyone was standing there doing what looked like closing duties. Once I was finally acknowledged she asked my name and then walked off without saying anything. I was standing there and she starts talking to me from the complete other side of the counter. She rolled her eyes and threw her hands up when she realized I was still where I had been the entire time and was curt and rude the entire interaction. Then, the jewelry I got was bent and damaged out of the box. I returned it and will not make any more purchases at Macy's. Totally rude and selling trash.
