*1pm My boyfriend transferred his phone number over to Metropcs with free phone special. The charge should've been around $70. He was not given a receipt.
*8pm He tells me he was charged $92. I called the store on 3way to speak to the associate who completed the transaction (Victoria). She tells me the phone plan was $64 and the rest of the purchase was insurance and activation. That didn't make sense because I called the main line prior to this because I have been a Metropcs customer for years.

* 3pm we go back to the same location to get a sim card for my daughters phone and activate it. ( There was a sign that said no activation fee ). So while we were there, I inquire about the charge. We are first told that they cannot pull up the receipt because it deletes after 2 days. This also doesn't make sense. Then they magically find it and say we purchased a screen protector that we did not purchase. They almost immediately refunded the charge with no apology or explanation as to why we were charged for a product we didn't purchase or for the fact the associate lied to us on Friday about what the charge was for.

From the moment the phone was purchased there were issues but he assumed it was the service. Yesterday the phone started overheating. This is supposed to be a brand new phone. Why is it overheating in 5days? I called the main line because the store was closed about the phone overheating. While on the call I asked them about the receipt situation and they said receipts don't delete for 14days. So I don't know if I was lied to again but that's a huge coincidence.
So not only was I blatantly lied to by the first associate, given no explanation or real apology by the second for the first lie and fraudulent charge but now he has a faulty device. I have been with metro a long time and have been to many locations. I have never had any trouble at any of them except this one.

I came in here to transfer my service to a new line. The front desk staff was extremely helpful. We had the same birthday 11/26! Well in order to switch my line I needed to have the account holder; who is my mother present. My mother unfortunately was not there so I was advised to just act like I was her. I am so sorry for this impersonation and identity theft. If it is any way possible to rectify this mistake I do hope you can help. Thank you Metro you’re the best!

I've been a METRO customer for several years now and unfortunately at this specific store I've gotten very unreliable service. They really need to start getting people that can actually help more. Very disappointed

Called asking for iphone 14, cost 165$ if you switch online or in store
This store asked 400$ !!!!
When I told the rule, they said we don't have the phone, she just told me they have it, but when I asked for no insurance no activation no accessories, they don't have it !!
Come on!!!!!
Guys know it, No activation in Store or online these days... Insurance is optional.... Period ..
Those stores will take your money for nothing
I don't care if all stores go out of business, but I care they sell according to company policies

I believe her name was Jackie, the woman who helped me. I know it started with a J. She was kind, sweet, informative, helpful and funny. Give that woman a raise. I live by a few different metros, but I'll now go out of my way to go to the location off Park Ln.
oh and her coworker, I didn't get her name but she was awesome! While I was with Jackie, things got busy and her coworker took care of everyone! Had them in and out! Selfless team work ?
She also complimented my lashes. Love those girls!
