The Moody Family YMCA in the Park Cities is a state-of-the-art fitness center dedicated to strengthening the foundation of the community. The facility is modern, engulfed in natural light, and everything is new, fresh, and clean, including the hardwood floors, gym equipment, lockers, and locker rooms. It features a spacious underground parking lot, clean well-maintained pools, and two floors of fitness equipment. The atmosphere is neighborly and welcoming, with a Christian atmosphere where everyone is made to feel part of the family. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The YMCA offers plenty of wonderful classes, youth programs including basketball and swimming, and access to an on-site masseur, all included in a very affordable and fair monthly fee. While excellent for cardio and machine workouts, the facility has limited lifting equipment. The YMCA is committed to ensuring income is not a barrier to membership or programs. It is a feel-good place for workouts on great, well-maintained equipment in a safe and welcoming space.
